It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

ICYMI, we’re having a TSTO Addicts Tag-A-Thon contest! A few rounds have already been closed, but check out the two that are still open here to participate! (Police Station and Town Hall)
We’re still waiting to see what happens in TSTO, but the E3 Expo is this Tuesday (June 11th). So we’ll see what happens then.

Thank Grog It’s Firday!
I’m writing this early, as today I will actually be on my way to Boise, for Terri’s funeral. Not a great week. I could use some grog.
Compound this with the reality that our “new normal” of lulliness continues, with two very seemingly ambiguous bits of news, that are sure to stoke the “Speculation Train” to the point of flying dangerously down the tracks and around a corner not meant for such speeds.
The first bit came from a Simpson’s writer, the second a notice from E3, which will likely be attended by the same writer. Irony, thy name is Selman.
Let’s get deep into the coal reserves, and stoke the firebox a bit…as that seems the best way to blow off an 8 hour drive across the state, to another state, and a different state of mind altogether.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Tagging has been a hot button issue around here for the last couple of weeks. Really it’s been a point of contention for players for a long time. Most folks are generally passionate about it on either side of the debate. You either really love it…or you really hate it. (of course, there are those, like me, who just don’t care one way or the other. But, unfortunately, we’re a rare breed)
Anyway, TSTO is slow right now so what better way to bring a little excitement into the game than with some good old fashion vandalism?! And what better way to have fun with a topic that’s been driving a chunk of us crazy for over half a decade than have a contest involving tagging?! Where we can find out which Sky Finger is the master of TSTO Addicts tagging!
What do I mean? What’s the prize? Let’s find out…
In the last edition of DID (Deigning In Downtime), I mentioned a handful of my favorite rituals, some regarding characters that I wanted to keep in the same place for eternity.
There are a couple of reasons I do this. First, I like how they look, and that they make me happy for some reason I have made up, as part of the rituals. But, over time and function, they have become part of the decorations…the style that gives my town unique flavor.
But, a couple of these take real planning…and a bit of luck…and sometimes a lot of patience (or stubbornness…you choose).
