Another TSTO Thursday and as usual I have some thoughts for you. This time I’m musing about…multi-events. With the latest update hitting our games I thought it was time to weigh in with my thoughts on the infamous new event format. And of course, I’ve got a bunch of thoughts so let’s get to ‘em…
Over the weekend we launched our very first TSTO Addicts Tag-A-Thon contest! Where we asked you guys to go crazy and tag your fellow neighbors, scavenger hunt style! (you can read more about the contest details here)
I’ve tallied up your tags, and I’ve got winners to announce, so let’s get to it!
This post has gone live at 6:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time, Saturday June 8th, 2019. You have until 6:30 PM Eastern Daylight time tomorrow, Sunday, June 9th, to complete and submit your tagging entries. At that point, comments to this post will be shut off. (for timezone converter check here. For those who don’t know, New York is in the Eastern Timezone)
Now get those trigger fingers ready because here’s your next challenge…

Tagging has been a hot button issue around here for the last couple of weeks. Really it’s been a point of contention for players for a long time. Most folks are generally passionate about it on either side of the debate. You either really love it…or you really hate it. (of course, there are those, like me, who just don’t care one way or the other. But, unfortunately, we’re a rare breed)
Anyway, TSTO is slow right now so what better way to bring a little excitement into the game than with some good old fashion vandalism?! And what better way to have fun with a topic that’s been driving a chunk of us crazy for over half a decade than have a contest involving tagging?! Where we can find out which Sky Finger is the master of TSTO Addicts tagging!
Another TSTO Thursday and as usual I have some thoughts for you. This time I’m musing about…tagging. Yes, it’s time for me to finally weigh in on the topic Patric loves to talk about. I’ve got a bunch of thoughts so let’s get to ‘em…
This week in Designing In Downtime (DID), I want to elaborate on a couple of key points about the newly discovered joys of tagging, as well as discovering the “New in the Old of the Yearbook.”
One is pretty obvious, the other only really reveals itself when you are in the process of taking on our new pastime, “Tagging All Of Your Neighbors.”
Both are great ways to deal with “Downtime Lulliness” in TSTO, which may or may not be the “new normal” for the game. In either case, it is a great way to “keep the action lively” when you are bored.
Well, well, well… Last week’s Filler certainly stirred up the pot, and showed a rather contentious side to our little community. What started out as my hope that people would stop worrying about tagging, and more importantly, stop using the comments section on this site to attack and belittle one another over tagging, became a battlefield of denial and bewilderment.
Then…it became a territorial debate about whether we should abolish or keep the “Add Friends – Graffiti Free” section on the site. Which turned into a broader debate over cause, effect, intent and entitlement.
Respectful, constructive disagreement is welcome, but comments made to provoke others, be malicious, or distract from the purpose of this site will be removed.
