Where Did THAT Come From- Emma and Cyborg Bart

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?

For this post, we’re going to cover the final “quick-blip” items that hit our pocket-sized towns during Act 4 of the Rise of the Robots Event.  Even though they’re all from different episodes, they’re all just a quick blip in the world of The Simpsons.  So, it’s time to examine where Emma and Cyborg Bart come from…hope you didn’t blink or you might’ve missed it!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time of the event…time for another fun and exciting prize post!  Yes, I know they’re your favorite, don’t even try to deny it.  Ok, you can deny it.  I think we probably feel the same way about these….but they still must be done! Otherwise, what else would I refer people back to when they ask what something does 6 months from now?  And hey, it’s the 2nd to last one for this event!  So that should give you something to smile about, right?  Act 4 of the Rise of the Robots event consists of 1 new building, 3 new decorations, and one new costume.

So let’s take a look at the prizes on the Act 4 Prize Track: Emma, the ATM Pos-i-bot, Squishee Machine Bot, and Hot Dog Cooker Bot (Cyborg Bart (a costume for Bart) we’ll break down in another post)

Showoff Announcement: Rise of the Robots

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers!  We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and this time around I want to see what you’ve done with the Rise of the Robots stuff! With new and old buildings and decorations arriving with this event, show me how you fit them into your Springfield!   So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!

As always please remember to limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole town, unless you want to send in your entire town via town portrait.

So use this time to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be!  Send in your Robot-inspired designs by 8pm ET Tuesday, May 11th and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post featuring your designs on Wednesday, May 12th.

Remember, your designs can be anything and everything from the Rise of the Robots, new and old, and how you worked it into your Springfield

So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Tuesday, May 11th, can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.

You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com.  We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.

Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots.  We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images.  Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too).  We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two.  If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week.  You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page.  We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme.  Remember, this isn’t a contest.  There’s nothing to win.  It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts.  🙂

Do you want to be featured on the next Springfield Showoff?  Post your images  in the Comments below or email us your screenshots at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We can’t wait to see YOUR designs! (Need help with images, just ask.)

Rise of the Robots Act 4 is Live! The Rundown and What You Need To Know

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

I’m not really a Star Wars person…but May the 4th be with you my friends…

Who’s ready for the final robot showdown?! Can Springfield be saved from the Robots?! It’s time for the exciting conclusion of the Rise of the Robots Event…Act 4!  As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…

Remember, this is the FINAL Act of this event.  So you’ll have to finish this, and any other act you didn’t finish, before the event ends on May 12th (Wednesday).

Things kick off for Act 4 with some dialogue between Lisa, Bart, and Frink…

Lisa: Professor Frink! Thank goodness you haven’t been enslaved!
Bart: We need your help!
Frink: You should have thought of that when you shunned me in the past!
Lisa: I didn’t shun you. I idolized you!
Bart: I shunned you, but I’m a kid. It was weird for you to want to join our Radioactive Man Club.
Frink: As decades of sloppy lab procedures have made me a very radioactive man, I thought it was highly appropriate.
Bart: The robot you built is enslaving humanity — you owe us a solution.
Frink: Well, it is every scientist’s dream to solve the problems his work creates. Hold on while I calculate the odds of success… Omega times alpha, carry the one, plus/minus your-guess-is-as-good-as-mine…

This triggers the Act 4 questline, Welcome to the Cyberdome, and is followed by a 4hr task for Lisa, Bart, Frink Jr, Frink and Mrs. Frink (if you have them), as well as a task to collect Act 4 Currency (155).  Welcome to the Cyberdome is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 4…

Reminder: Rise of the Robots Act 4 Starts Tomorrow!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Some of you had mentioned you’d like a separate reminder post for when the next Act of Events starts.  So here’s that separate reminder post…

Act 4 of Rise of the Robots starts Tuesday, May 4th, at 11 am ET!

Acts 1, 2, and 3 of the event won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished those you have plenty of time to do so. But Act 4 will be starting up with its own prize track, questline, and premium character!

Here’s who you’ll need free to start Act 4:

Lisa, Bart, Frink Jr, Frink (if you have him) and Mrs. Frink (if you have her) all have tasks (outside of event currency earning tasks) for Part 1 of Act 4.

You’ll also need the characters that earn event currency free.  As a reminder, they are:
Homer
Marge
Bart
Lisa
Ned
Skinner
Wiggum
Frink
Robot Rumble Announcers (New Premium)
Love Bot (New Premium)
Brenda (New Premium)
New Premium Character for Act 4

And finally, there will be a new premium combo available during Act 4, which will help earn event currency.

You will need 150 donuts for that combo.

And that’s it, all you need to know to start up Act 4 tomorrow!
