Ok so one BIG thing we’re noticing with today’s update greatly impacts those Tappers playing on an iOS Device, and that’s changes to Origin from inside TSTO. Now Origin on iOS looks exactly like it does on Android. What does that mean for you? Let’s take a closer look…. Continue reading
1:00pm (est): Update has hit the Android Market. Check your Google Play store for the update. If it doesn’t show right away be patient, it will. And again this is not a Level/new content update. This is just an update to remove Christmas/snow from the game. So you do not have to update right away.
12:50pm (est): This update has just removed Christmas my fellow tappers. Not sure if EA has an in game update planned for later today (just to keep us on our toes) or later this week. BUT (as CGuy reminded me) if you are close to the 30,000 gift card level DO NOT Update. You will not be forced to update and you can still achieve the last prize. There’s nothing new in the update (except no snow and melted snowmen) so if you’re close to hitting 30,000 don’t update the game my friends!
12:40pm (est): It you’re playing on an Apple device the update is here! Check your iTunes store for the App Update! It’s installing as we speak on mine!
Android users…my phone is standing by waiting the update! I’ll let you know as soon as it’s here…

So we’ve been seeing quite a few questions in the comments this morning all pertaining to….WHERE’S THE NEW UPDATE?!! So I figured I’d take a few minutes to give you the skinny on the update/Christmas removal/Married to the Blob Episode Tie-In removal…whew not so skinny huh?
UPDATE 9:00AM EST 1/15/14: For those Tappers needing help with the “NOT MY TOWN” Glitch, Friend Management (iOS Devices) & those who did not update their device out of Christmas in hopes to get the last of the Christmas items…we now have 3 posts dedicated to those three things. Here’s where you can find them:
-If you’ve logged into TSTO after updating and realized “HEY THIS ISN’T MY TOWN! WHERE’S MY SPRINGFIELD?!!!!” Check out this Troubleshooting Post from Bunny (she’s wearing her nerdy glasses in this one!)
-If you’re playing on iOS and are noticing all the changes to adding friends, deleting friends & how Origin looks in TSTO now…check out this post for all the ins, outs and how-tos of managing Origin in iOS now.
-And finally…if you haven’t yet updated out of Christmas (in hopes to get those last few items) and are looking for friends to help you that also haven’t updated out of Christmas check out this post.

UPDATE 1:30PM EST (although I forgot to hit update post until 2:20pm) : Ok tappers by now we all know the update has hit our devices but (for now) it’s Christmas/Snow removal.
