Hey there Tappereenos, here at Addicts we get a question a LOT about our readers wanting to reach out to other Neighbereenos in the game. To date, EA has not made a way possible for us to reach out to our Neighboreenos.
A great suggestion was provided to us by one of our readers, brmharvey, who wrote this…
Is there any way to set up a running post where friends can commend or thank each other? I mean, this new event has showed me I have some pretty great friends. And I know some must have come from the tstoaddicts site. So it would be nice to have a dedicated space where they can be thanked, because some of mine do seem to go above and beyond.
Just a thought – I think it’s too bad EA has set up this big social game, but it doesn’t actually allow for any, you know, *social* interaction.
We really do quite like this idea. So we decided to give it a go. Feel free to use the comment section below to give a “SHOUT OUT” to your Neighboreenos. Admire their decorations, town design, consistent tapping in your town, pretty much what ever you would like to say.
Here are a few guidelines we ask that you follow though, we would like to keep this as positive as possible…so please, no negative comments…or Bunny will bury them in the basement with the bodies…errrr…ummm…just don’t do it. If you want to put your email address out for contact, you do it at YOUR OWN RISK!! You will take full responsibility for any and all emails along with their content that are sent to you by doing so. Just remember, you are putting it out there for ALL to see. Anyone that reads the comments and/or site will have access to it. ANYONE.
So play nice and have fun. Here is a way now you can tell your neighboreenos just how you feel about them. 🙂

Happy Halloween everyone! This is my very first Halloween event and I’m enjoying it immensely. Thanks to all my wonderful neighbors who have filled my town with fantastically spooky little Blobs of Monstrosity 🙂 Big thank yous especially to AJ0764, Charshark28, Forbesville, groovey8 Labrat1949, suziekelly83, Tapebelt, for being ‘on point’ and helpful! There are so, so many others, but these are the ones who (I think) frequent these pages the most. Please let me know if I’ve left you out :). (Also, if anyone’s noticed, my town has turned quite empty and strange lately. That’s because I’ve finally started my Big Redesign! It’s a slow process – it’s tricky having the ideas in my head match up what’s possible on the screen, but I’ll keep plugging away. Happy Trick or Treating Neighboreenos!
It’s my first Halloween event also 🙂 really enjoying it so far.
Good luck with the redesign. You will get there in the end. I don’t think I could ever take that plunge. As I get new items as I level I sometimes decide on new designs so just alter small parts. Takes me forever to design though with the lack of space. Money just doesn’t grow quick enough 🙂

Thank you so much Forbesville! It’s a slow start on that East edge, but at least it’s a start. I’m a big fan of your town too – I love your farm area and especially your Springfield Heights! (You became a billionaire! Impressive! :). I’m actually not that bitter (well, at least when I’ve had my coffee ;). That was the name a friend chose for me when she set up my very first email account. It’s so easy to remember that I’ve just kept it all these years :). By the way, I’ve visited your town at least 7 times today and I still haven’t been able to leave monsters. You must be popular, but I’ll keep trying 🙂

It’s my favorite time of year 🙂 also I started tsto during the Christmas event last yr so hoping to complete it this time around.
Out of curiosity. Where abouts are you from? I think it may help when sending monsters. No point in sending them if it’s bedtime for you and they must be clicked on within 4hrs. I’ve noticed sometimes sending them to other neighbours that I don’t get credit for it so can only assume that’s the issue.

Suziekelly83, that’s a great idea to share time zones! It would probably make a big difference. I live in a particularly strange (and annoying sometimes 😉 ) time zone. Because it’s so strange, I’ve resigned myself to the fact that not everyone will get points from me. But, I love giving to neighbors regardless 🙂 but if it helps you out, here we go! I live in Hawaii, so officially it’s Hawaii-Aleutian Time Zone UTC-10:00. I’m not sure which country you are in, but I can help ‘translate’ if it’s too confusing for you 🙂
That makes sense though that I’ve been having difficulty sometimes. I have a few friends here (for example, jamescrote81 and Jebus810 🙂 who I RARELY am able to give monsters too. It’s not for lack of trying though! I also would like to apologize, I missed a few days playing because I was ill. So sorry! I hate missing Tapping Days. I always feel so….incomplete. Lol.

Oh my goodness thank you for posting this Tapebro! You have NO idea the panic I had when I saw that I was no longer your friend. Lol. You’re one of my favorite neighbors and I kept thinking ‘what did I do wrooooong!’ ;). So thank you for re-adding me! 🙂 I bought a lot of mausoleums and whacking day logs because (well one, because it’s embarrassingly obscene how much money I’ve thrown at this game ;), but also because it’s my first Halloween and I’m finally starting my big re-design. Although it’s clearly going to take ages. I’m actually not quite sure what I’m going to do with all the mausoleums yet since I still only have one cemetery so far (lol), but I have big plans for the logs. I have lots of ideas swirling in my head for that East side, and I think the whole thing is going to be a wooded area. I actually have a clear idea of what I want to do, but executing it is slow-going. Which is another reason why I’m in absolute awe at your excellent design skills. Today I read about what vandalism really is and how it affects people. I had no idea it could be negative. I am fairly new to TSTO. I thought hitting a spray can was ok. So many people have accepted my friends requests and it has made playing even more fun and I want to thank them. I also want to sincerely apologize to anyone I vandalized that did not want to be. In the future, I will not vandalize anyone.

DrZK13 checking in here…Just wanted to tell my extremely awesome friends that I’m currently experiencing the disappearing-money icon glitch. So if you hit-up my town and find nothing to tap, that’s why.
Short of EA’s suggestion of rolling back my game and losing all progress since yesterday prior to the monorail removal update, I can only just keep on playing and possibly lose icons randomly.
Here’s hoping an update hits that will fix this!
I’m having the same issue, and it seems the icons disappear after I leave my town to do my neighbor visits. I did 1 visit today, went back to my town, and the money signs were gone. Hoping they fix it soon.

Finally bit the bullet and nuked my town last night, with the end of the mono rail seemed ideal time, I’ve some amazing neighbours to draw inspiration from, jebus has set the bar pretty high , just hope to make a town half as good

Btw, I also have the glitch with no money over the buildings. Sometimes they are there and stay there, but other times they disappear and the clock starts over for no apparent reason. Sorry about this neighbors…I hope things get sorted out soon.
Thanks AJ though it took me 3 attempts to finally take the plunge and press the confirm button, with eyes shut. But it`s been ok so far just working on getting a basic town back then tweeking to make it look good.

I would like to take a moment to thank all my neighbors! I have just recently Maxed out my friends list and now the levels are flying by! Thanks to everybody for all the extra XP! My town isn’t hugely exciting….yet. I only started playing this past January, and have been using the last few months as time to get caught up with missions, events, and land purchases. Clumping my buildings together is getting a little old though ;), so pretty darn soon I’m going to dust off my creativity cap and get back to designing! I’m so glad I have you and Jebus as friends! I do appreciate having friends on my list who are just as passionate (obsessed?) as I am 🙂

Seriously though, I like all my neighbours but I can only have one favourite neighbour and one favourite town. My favourite town designer would definitely have to be Tapebelt. To be honest not many people put as much effort into town design as I do, I even thought I was a bit obsessed, but when I saw Tapbelt’s town I knew I was not alone 😉
AJ0764 is my favourite neighbour because of how much we communicate. I think being able to communicate with your neighbours is the one thing this awesome game is missing. This site is great for trying to fill that need but nothing beats an email address and phone number 😉
While these two are my favourite neighbour and favourite town I would still like to mention just a few other special people.

That I am now back after 2 weeks holiday with very poor WiFi access, so am back to visiting daily again and playing catch up after failing to get all phase 1 items and playing catch up on phase 2.

Woohoo!!! After SEVERAL weeks of being locked out of the game, I am finally back in!!! Thanks to all my neighbors that hung in there with me. For those of you that didn’t, I completely understand! Yea I’m Australian, there are quite a few of us here apparently. I have 3 Australian flags in my town, only three because they cost donuts. I think I have more American flags but that’s ok because I like America too 😉
