Hey there Tappereenos, here at Addicts we get a question a LOT about our readers wanting to reach out to other Neighbereenos in the game. To date, EA has not made a way possible for us to reach out to our Neighboreenos.
A great suggestion was provided to us by one of our readers, brmharvey, who wrote this…
Is there any way to set up a running post where friends can commend or thank each other? I mean, this new event has showed me I have some pretty great friends. And I know some must have come from the tstoaddicts site. So it would be nice to have a dedicated space where they can be thanked, because some of mine do seem to go above and beyond.
Just a thought – I think it’s too bad EA has set up this big social game, but it doesn’t actually allow for any, you know, *social* interaction.
We really do quite like this idea. So we decided to give it a go. Feel free to use the comment section below to give a “SHOUT OUT” to your Neighboreenos. Admire their decorations, town design, consistent tapping in your town, pretty much what ever you would like to say.
Here are a few guidelines we ask that you follow though, we would like to keep this as positive as possible…so please, no negative comments…or Bunny will bury them in the basement with the bodies…errrr…ummm…just don’t do it. If you want to put your email address out for contact, you do it at YOUR OWN RISK!! You will take full responsibility for any and all emails along with their content that are sent to you by doing so. Just remember, you are putting it out there for ALL to see. Anyone that reads the comments and/or site will have access to it. ANYONE.
So play nice and have fun. Here is a way now you can tell your neighboreenos just how you feel about them. 🙂

Jmpml0001 thanks all neighbors for visiting. After 3 uninstall/reinstalls I still cannot get any neighbor towns to open. I am judiciously downsizing to see if that helps, but with the other glitches I’m not sure it will work . . .

Can someone please explain to me why it’s annoying to people to have their town vandalised.
I’ve always assumed that my friends expect me to vandalise and think I’m doing a favour!
I’m mortified to think I’m annoying some people and I have no idea why – thanks v much for any replies 🙂
It lowers ratings in their town that can affect the percentage of extra money and xp that they earn. It also affects your own ratings. There’s a way around it, though. Just buy a bunch of training walls, and hide them strategically behind buildings and use them as decorations.

it affect your town if you HAVE Nothing!! past level 30 once you have 5 stars with all you wall, houses quick e marts someone vandalizing your town dose SQUAT!! HI- Just wanted to say a huge thank you to my friends/Springfield neighbours who I visit every day- You know who you are- Thank you for reliably coming to my Springfield. I really enjoy visiting yours and seeing all the great designs. Fabulous mazes and Krustylands too. It is great seeing all the styles, some are building hoarders and some are like me, manic about uniformity and trying to create a real town LOL
. I would also like to give huge thanks to the TSTO community for advice, friendship and giving me a lot of fun.
As a side note my favourite thing is seeing Homer do his jump and despite not really liking Skinner, I have been turned by his fireman washing the engine dance ROFL

My apologies to any and all of my old and new friends. While visiting towns this morning, I did tap the ‘spray paint’ icon in 2 of my 100 friends’ towns. My finger was tapping faster than my brain could keep up. Once again…sorry.
Just wanted to give a little bit of advice 🙂
If you have Springfield heights whenever you are visited your guest will land at the entrance to Springfield heights. Would be wise to move any buildings that could be vandalised further away from this point to avoid accidental tagging.
If you have not got Springfield heights then visitors land around the Simpsons house, I believe. You should probably keep buildings you don’t want vandalised away from the Simpson house, again to avoid accidental tagging.
Obviously in times where there is an event it may land visitors to another area but as a rule I think the above is true 🙂
