Anyway enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? No it’s not time to see if reindeer really know how to fly! Nope it’s time for another Sunday Night Open Thread! (this is very quickly becoming our favorite time of the week by the way! You guys have some AWESOME things to say!)
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

The Easter Event is in full swing…and full of all kinds of knew glitchs! Have you experienced any of them? NHL and NBA playoffs are in full swing…how are YOUR teams doing? MLB’s Sunday Night Game of the week is the LA Angles vs. my beloved Yankees. Anyone have any pine tar I can borrow? 😉

Just watched season 25 ep 19, and I have to say it was quite terrible!
Can you still earn baskets by clicking bunnies after you completed the quest line? I’m running out of baskets 🙁
Yes, but it is random. And you.Nash go a few days without then get a couple in 1 day.
I wish they added something into the game where you could trade amongst neighbors like you could trade something for donuts or trade a limited item for another limited item because having these character sets that I can’t get because I wasn’t obsessed with tapped out a couple momths ago is killing me! Maybe it’s my ocd kicking in when I have a whole set of characters minus one haha!
I found out that I will be getting out of work early for the rest of the week 😀 I know its lame, but I work til 12am 5 days a week, so getting out @ 10pm is like heaven to me Lol!!
On a game related note, I got Father Sean last night and am loving his animations thus far. The SOA reference was hilarious !!
Since we can talk about anything, I just want to take a moment and THANK YOU for all the great work on posts and information that you guys brings us day after day. It would be really hard sometimes to figure out glitches and stuff like that without you. Our journey on tapped out certainly wouldn’t be so fun! So again, thank you!!!!! :):):):)

Has anyone else pondered how the alphabetical listing of our names affects our friendship activities?
Take the current Easter baskets. When working, surely a lot more eggs get dumped in say, Aaron A. Aardvark’s baskets than mine, and I am in the middle of the alphabet.

Yes i noticed this…. its good on a day when i get through my friend list early but on tired days i, too, will start at x (i have no z) because i know i started from A two days running and I’ll not visit x unless i start the first!! 🙂
I WILL behave…Hey Sammyjo…when I’ve visited my friends backwards, it screwed up my previous “schedule”…then my day resets allowing me the most rewards but no one left to tap…lol… yeah, I’m an idiot… 🙂

I TRY to remember the last person I dropped eggs off to and start there. And if I can’t, I start backwards.
Just wanted to take a quick poll…how long did it take you to get the Fabrege egg after finishing the quest line? I’m going on about 3 days now without getting it…and not a single basket has dropped for me since. Thanks everyone!

I happened to get the Fabrege egg the same day I finished the quest line! But I’m having the same issue with not getting any baskets and I’m getting impatient/annoyed 🙁
Hmm it is random I know some were reporting no baskets for a few days then suddenly lots of baskets.
I got the Faberge egg 2 days after finishing the quest line.
I was fortunate enough to get the Fabrege egg two days after the quest line completed as well.
I noticed that, too. No baskets dropped until I got the Faberge egg. Once I did (which took about 3 days), I started getting baskets again!
Same here! I was getting 1-2 baskets a day and nada since I finished. Also, no faberge egg (I finished last Thursday). Also, I’ve only received one donut for visiting friends since then, and I was averaging 1-3 every single day before that. I thought they were gone, but I just got one yesterday.
Thanks for reminding me about the egg. I was wondering to myself last night about why I’m speeding through the questline when I can just take my time and enjoy the dialogue.
The sooner I finish, the sooner I can start hunting for that egg. As a freemium player, that bonus is one of the best they’ve offered for free. Part 18 (the last part) will finish in 7 hours; I’ll get back to you guys about how long it takes for me to get it.
Anyone noticed when you finished the main easter quest line is much more difficult to find eggs?? Also, my Frink egg generator every 24 hours gives me 300 eggs, but eggs of my dominant color, now is very diffcult to collect blue eggs for me.
If it’s giving you the wrong color, please contact EA right away. It’s am ongoing glitch they’re trying to correct.
Has anyone established the etiquette for dealing with unsolicited neighbor requests? I’ve only got a few open spaces left for neighbors (we’re talking about maybe 3 open slots) and I already feel bad that I’m not as on top of visiting all my neighbors every day. I haven’t posted to an add me thread in quite a while… So what do you do with the requests that just come out of the blue? Do you decline them right out? Save them? Make a waiting list? Add them? (As far as I know, there is no Miss Manners for Tapped Out, so I’m turning to the Addicts for help on this one)
I have 400 waiting. I let them be as I know I have difficulty keeping up with who I have and they’d be better with a neighbor more active then me. Make sense?

I keep them for my waiting list. Not 400 names long like our Bunny, but usually like to have around a half dozen names on the waiting list. Have 4 right now. If anyone goes inactive, I like to have backups ready so I don’t miss a day of 300 actions.
I think I am now officially hoplessly addicted to TSTO. I was in my Family Guy game just now (I only play it occasionally) and I was lookining around and was like “Hey where are the bunnies?”
Totally agree. I must have spent over 10hrs in my Springfield over the weekend. Yet haven’t managed to play even 10min of Family Guy.
But in my case, I’m not just a TSTO addict, I’m a The Simpsons addict. I’ve seen every episode at least twice (except a few from this season which I’ve only seen once like tonight’s episode). In contrast, I have seen less than three full episodes of Family Guy. So obviously that plays a huge role in my gameplay.
Haha I also spent most of my weeked in my game doing a major redesign. The weather here was so crappy, it seemed like a good time for it I too am a huge Simpsons addict, I have all the available DVDs lol. When I heard this game was comming out I was so exited then found out it was only available on ios at first and I only had an android phone so I bought an ipad just to play the game.
This is probably a stupid question, but tonight I cleared a “handshake” and graffiti and noticed the names that floated up in the air were NOT on my friend list.Hos is that possible?

Had something disturbing happen this evening- suddenly I’m missing a bunch of buildings (and the associated characters have also disappeared), including escalator to nowhere, volcanic lair, Burns Manor and Fat Tony’s compound – in total I3 buildings I’m aware of after a cursory review. I’ve submitted an email to EA, but I’m wondering if this has been happening to others? Oddly, with all the Easter event issues I’ve heard about, none of my Easter stuff I’ve gotten to date appears to be missing,…
This definitely something to be brought to EAs attention. Sorry. Have heard on n off reports. Let us know how it goes.
Couldn’t think of anywhere else to put this so I’ll put it here…
Today was a good day in my Springfield. First, I finally got the Blocko store so now I can focus on getting those silly blue eggs versus the totally awesome and amazing eggs of team pink. But, more importantly, I hit level 39 this morning (!), thereby earning 2 more donuts (!!), and therefore acquiring just enough donuts to get…OTTO!!! (!!!) He is currently storming the police station along with most of the rest of Springfield. The questline will likely wait until after 5/13 or I get all the prizes, whichever happens first.
Anyway, I don’t know anyone else who might care so it seemed best to share my excitement with a bunch of internet strangers. :]

Congrats! That was a long and patient wait. A similar thing happened to me the other day, I got 2 donuts from visiting neighbors which put me at enough to buy the candy puppies and fireworks. Woo hoo! Now we’re back to square one. What are you saving for next?
The Flyers are stressing me out. The Rangers aren’t all that.
All about the Habs baby! Though I’m worried about the super long week+ vacation they are getting. That’s always a pitfall of sweeping a series in four games over a week, while other series are going a full seven games for two weeks.

Just got home from watching the new Spiderman movie (was awesome) – time to watch the new Simpsons episode!!!

So I started the day with between 400 and 500 of both blue and pink eggs, but with 0 golden eggs. After performing my 300 actions, I had enough eggs to open two pink and one blue box. The two pinks each gave me 100 golden eggs while the blue box gave me 300 golden eggs. So now I had enough for a fourth box today, a golden box. But sadly, that yielded my second Easter Gate.
I’ve now opened 37 boxes thus far; 29 pink, 4 blue and 4 gold.
4 gold yielded 2 Easter Gates (1st gold box/13th box overall, 4th gold box/37th box overall), 1 Pastel Easter Fence x 2pcs (3rd gold box/31st box overall), and unique Bunny #24601 (2nd gold box/25th box overall).
4 blue yielded 2 300 Golden Eggs, 1 Easter Fence x 3pcs, and 1 Easter Pond.
29 pink yielded 14 100 Golden Eggs, 8 Easter Fence x 3pcs, 3 Beach Towels with Umbrella, 3 Easter Trees, and unique Bart Jr and Chirpy (24th pink box/29th box overall).
That’s 29 of the 50 fence pieces required for 15 donuts, woohoo!
But still 0/6 on the 6 items I really want: Shari Bobbins, Father Sean, Blocko Store, Banana Dictatorship, Johnny Fiestas, and the 15 donuts for 50 fence pieces.
I’ve had pretty bad luck since my birthday on Thursday. I had my third day of 0 donuts visiting neighbours today. 0 on Thursday, 1 on Friday, 0 Saturday, and now 0 today. Just 1 in 4 days. My previous 4 day low for donuts visiting neighbours was 3 (0 Mar 20, 2 Mar 21, 1, Mar 22, and 0 Mar 23). Other than that never had less than 5 in any four day period previously. Prior to my birthday, I only had 5 goose eggs in 35 days and now 3 goose eggs in the span of 4 days. It’s all downhill as you get older 🙁
Oh well, at least there’s still over two weeks left in this Easter event and hopefully I can get some of my desired items.
Everyone seems to know exactly how many boxes they have opened. Is there a way to check this or do u just remember or go by wat items u have 🙂
I’ve actually been keeping track with 3 different bushes. That seemed the easiest way for me lol.
Is anyone getting single eggs from visiting neighbor’s buildings? i was getting 2-3 eggs per building…now just a single egg.
Check the ? By your egg count in the neighbor screen. See where you are on your neighbor taps. They reset every 24 hrs.
Forgot there was a new episode tonight…went to see “300 Rise of an Empire”…think I DVRed the Simpsons…hey, Lekittynoir… 🙂

Fun story: I just finished the Easter quest line earlier today.. Then tapped a few bunnies and left the house for a few hours. Came back to my game a few minutes ago while watching the new episode, did a full bunny clear out for the first time since finishing the quests, and found the faberge egg! How insanely lucky am I?

So the other day I’m tapping my bunnies like always but my iPad is acting up. I have to keep pressing twice or thrice to tap the little things on their heads when all of a sudden my screen breaks! Well for half a second I thought my screen broke, but then I realized that I descovered how to zap them. O M G why hadn’t I tried it before?! It’s awesome! Poor little roasted bunnies don’t have a chance hidding from me anymore. I love zapping them. It looks super cruel. Certainly crueler than bopping them on their little heads, but funnier as well.
Comming to the US next Sunday 🙂 Anyone feel like giving me a ride from JFK (NYC) to the busstation? I will continue to Knoxville and my Darlin’ by bus. TSTO brought us together 😀 The 4500 mile trip will be worth it,

Can’t offer a ride, but it’s pretty easy to get from JFK to Port Authority on public transportation. Take the Air Train to Jamaica Station (cost: $5, pay as you exit) and then follow signs to the E train (subway cost: $2.50) towards Manhattan. Take it to 42nd St and you can exit right into the bus station.
