UPDATE FROM BUNNY 4-22-14 3PM EST:
I was on the phone with EA for a while asking a million questions. They are all on high alert with the Basket issues, egg issues, etc. They have been working round the clock to locate and fix the cause of the issues and to get an update to resolve it out as fast as they can. No word yet on the Updates day of release, just that this is priority there right now as it is impacting so many and preventing game play.
So in short, hang in there…they are working on it. No word as of yet if this will bring a time extension or how they will handle that part of it. I will let you know if I hear anything more on the matter. And of course we will be here to let you know when the update arrives.
Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
A few of you are reporting problems with your Easter Baskets…you put them out for friends to leave you eggs and they do…but not long after to start to notice the eggs have disappeared!
If this is happening to you, don’t panic. This is a KNOWN glitch in the game and EA is currently working on fixing it. We are suggesting if you’re having problems with your baskets that you post your info on this thread from the EA website:

We also suggest that you contact EA directly to let them know you’re having the issue. One of our readers inkans is having the same issue and contacted EA. They left this in the comments:
Alissa – I chatted with EA about the disappearing eggs from the baskets. They are aware of the issue and are working on a fix for it: Thanks for the tip to contact them!

I checked this information from our end and found that some of the customers have already reported this issue. Our developers are aware of it and are working for a resolution. We appreciate your patience while the issue is being looked into.

OK, thanks for letting me know. Will the 500 missing eggs be restored at some point?
EA:
Yes, once this issue fixed, you will receive your missing eggs.
So there you have it Tappers…if you’re experiencing the basket glitch let EA know so they can work to restore your game.

UPDATE FROM BUNNY: Seems people are also missing the “Thank You” Screen in their neighbor towns as they tap on through (Freak Glitch.Lol). Another “known” issue that EA has reports on. My suggestion is to contact them. I did not see a thread in the help desk forum as of yet, your are always welcome to start one. The same advisors that help you via chat and email are on the help forum too.
