Dropping in with a quick but AWESOME tip I just tested out to earn bunnies FASTER! You can earn up to 20 more bunnies every 4 hrs…which translates to MORE EGGS!
Now if you’ve been reading this blog regularly during this update you’ll know that you can earn 10 bunnies each time you grow carrots on Cletus’s Farm. So 10 bunnies every 4 hrs…BUT there’s a way you can cut that time in half and get 10 bunnies every 2 hrs…with out using donuts!
Here’s what you’ll need for this:
-Part 8 of the main questline, Four-Day Weekend For Our Sins, started, Harvest Carrots at Cletus’s Farm. -Witch Marge (from Halloween 2012 and 2013)
-Ability to check your town every 2 hrs
Here’s what you do:
-Grow Carrots on Cletus’s Farm…4hr task.
-Use Witch Marge skin to Speed Up Crops -This will cut the time in half for carrots! From 4hrs down to 2hrs!
-Clear your town of bunnies BEFORE you harvest the carrots. Otherwise you might get a too many bunnies message.
-After you harvest the bunnies….Witch Marge will still have 2hrs left on her Speed Up Crops task. You might think it was a waste right? WRONG…plant carrots AGAIN, right away after harvesting them.
-Witch Marge will STILLcut the time in half on the carrots.
So…1 4hr Witch Marge task = 2 Carrot Harvests on Cletus’s farm, which equals 20 Bunnies every 4 hours!
Yes, I’ve fully tested this and it works COMPLETELY!
What a great way to earn Eggs quicker!
Special thanks to our reader Marc who pointed this out to me!
Hey there Tappereenos. Figured a lot of you have been DYING to know this information. Well, we were just able to confirm it.
Does Cletus’ Farm Corn Crop speed up for the Part 8 task to plant carrots?
YES!! WOOHOO!!! Alissa started hers around Ned’s Task. Bunny started hers just after Homer, Willie, and Apu finished theirs. Alissa just got to Part 8 and BOOM…INSTA GROW CORN!! So there you have it. As long as you start the corn BEFORE you get too far in the questline, it gets sped up as part of the quest giving you INSTANT large amounts of $$$ and XP. Just make sure you hit the “Do It” from the questbox to speed it up, don’t tap on Cletus’s Farm first…it won’t work..
Word of advice, for those of you that may not be aware…if you want to plant corn NOW but another crop is there…you just store Cletus’ farm in your inventory and take it back out. You will lose whatever is currently growing in there, but will have a clear farm to plant the new Corn Crop.
I see that many of you are now starting to unlock the Easter content and are so far loving the event! What’s not to love? Hunting wabbits and free stuff! Oh and did I mention FREE donuts? Not only are donuts in the questline (check here for the post) but many Tappers are reporting they’re STILL earning donuts from tapping neighbor’s buildings, as long as they’re maxed out on Friend Points (check here for more details on donuts in FP)! Not a bad way to have an event start off, right?
So now that many of you are starting to unlock the content, and some of you are acquiring your first Easter Box, I see some of you starting to question the math of it all. As I explained in my odds post with this event you’re guaranteed to unlock all of the items, as long as you’re diligent with your tapping. And some of you are starting to say…’wait a min! 81 attempts to guarantee it x 500 Eggs = 40,500 Eggs/color! That’s impossible to do!’
And you know what? Those of you thinking like that…you’re right. It is impossible to do in the way you’re thinking. The problem is…you’re thinking about it all wrong. You’re taking the literal conversion of exactly how many eggs you get and coming up WAY short. However, as they say…there’s more than 1 way to skin a cat…er bunny?
Those of you taking the literal conversions into account you’re forgetting an IMPORTANT aspect of this update….games of chance. Let’s break it all down and I’ll show you how you can earn enough to unlock everything….with out using donuts. All you need is diligent tapping and patience. You may not get something until the very last day, but keep your patience and don’t lose your cool!
