I am sure by now you have all seen the cool prizes you can win by earning the emblems. A lot of neat new skins for characters along with new tasks for them included. WOOHOO!!
Well once you complete collecting all Emblem Prizes, there is a Secret Bonus at the end. WOOHOO!! (See, it even says it is a Secret. Lol. Did you expect anything less?)
So what exactly happens once you earn an additional 3000 Emblems beyond the intial 35, 000? Well…
FREE DONUTS!!! WOOHOO!! Look familiar? Of course, it is the basic pick a box and earn up to 3 free sprinklies. You can buy another box for the cost of $150,000 each extra if you didn’t get 3 right away (so keep a lil cash aside when it comes close to time to hit).
UPDATE: For whatever reason, my test towns showed the standard $50,000 extra a box for the Secret Bonus Rounds. I just retested them again thanks to our reader Neglecterino. It seems it is set at $150,000 a box instead for most players. Let me know if anyone else still gets it for the $50,000 (man, gotta love those glitches. Lol.)
FYI, there is a shortcut I use for these and the Level Up Bonus boxes you can try in your games. I seem to get 3 donuts pretty much every time on the first box with it. Just press and hold down on the box on the far right. Watch the lights. They will cycle through around, back and forth, and flashing. Once they cycle all the way through one time, let go. It is how I have usually avoided paying any extra cash for my 3 Donuts.
This will continue to happen over and over and over until the event ends once you pass the initial Emblems. So, something sweet to look forward to, right?

I’m still stuck, stonecutter table never showed in my inventory, I’m at over 40,000 emblems and have open tasks to set the table but not available for me to get! I’ve opened a request with EA over a week ago and I got no response…I just want the free donut secret involves with the table
Make sure you keep up with EA. No harm in sending messages to them. Hope you’re fixed soon.

On my first 3k emblem bonus, it was $50k to chose again, after that it’s been $150k. Going to try your trick next time since I’ve been getting 2…fingers crossed. Even if it doesn’t work that way for me I’ll still be pleased as punch to get any donuts at all. I remember reading this at the beginning of the event but must have blanked on the tip. So glad to have read it again!
The 150 is just for the Stonecutter bonus. 50 is the regular XP bonus which will remain after this event.
I have tried your trick on both of my extra emblem bonus rounds & both times – 3 donuts!!!!

According to a chat rep in EA, there is no guarantee of getting 3 donuts in the secret bonus boxes, even if you cough up $300,000 to try the other 2 boxes.
My partner got 2 donuts, then 1 donut and on the third try, she got 2 donuts again. We questioned this via the EA chat and the agent checked with his colleagues and came back with the explanation that it was random each time with no guarantee that one of the boxes actually has 3 donuts in it.
In the end, they did credit the missing donut plus some extra ones. Has anyone else encountered the same problem?
THAT is the first I have ever heard of that. EVER! It has always been 1, 2, and 3. I will have to check into this myself.

I don’t get it. You have to hold down on the far right box anytime? Then wait through the whole cycle and just put it down? Is that working for all the boxes or only very first box?
I haven’t really tested it on the other two boxes as the far right seemed to work the best for me. If you watch the light cycles on the boxes you can see the different stages they go through. They flash, 4 brighter cycle around, flash again, then it breaks at the top…goes down each side…meets at bottom…breaks and goes back up each side to meet at top again. So I tap and hold on the far right box and watch for that last cycle where it breaks at top meets at bottom, breaks, then meets at top again. That is when I let go. (Hope that makes sense. If you watch the cycle you will see what I mean.) It doesn’t work for everyone. I just found the majority of the time it works for me. Try it at your own risk. 😉
I need your advice please. Last night (before I completed the last of Number 1’s Tasks), I had 2,905/3,000 emblems. I completed the last task before my clock reset, but only carried forward 50 emblems after I collected my 3 doughnuts. Is this a glitch (I was expected to carry forward 305,) or should I contact EA?? Thanks
If you are missing Emblems, I would contact them as it impacts game play. Let us know how it goes.

The only way to get emblems and donuts (that won’t cause you to lose your game) is to play the game. many players are behind but finding they can catch up quickly. Just keep playing the game and see where you are with 1 week left.
Also, note that I’ve edited your comment to help you out. It’s against EA’s Terms of Service to give someone, other than EA, access to your game. As a result you could lose your Springfield for violating their terms of service.

Just hit 34k emblems and the Secret bonus task appeared before I got the anvil! I currently have over 100/3000 for the bonus. As for your trick, do you just select the far right box again after holding it down?
That is what I do. I let it cycle round til the two dots touch. Then let go.

Seeing different prices in two different towns aren’t a “glitch”. It’s actually done on purpose as a test measurement. Small groups are given slightly different versions of a similar event to see which variation preforms the best among the groups. The term in the game industry is called “A/B Testing”. You may be asked to pay $1, while I’ll be asked to pay $2. If more people in your group buy it for $1, then in my group, then game developers know that the metric for optimal sales is at $1. Once enough information is collected to determine the best price point, the developer can “collapse” the test and update the price to reflect the best outcome. That’s why you see it change later. I get what you are saying, but…this was a glitch/mistake. Not a test. Not the first time we’ve seen them. EA quickly sends an update to correct it. The prices were quickly fixed to the correct amounts. Similar has happened with pretty much every single event I have seen since I started playing a long time ago. 😉
Hmmmmm, this is cool! (Glitch maybe!?!). I’m in the process of collecting emblems for the final “main” prize…Satan’s Anvil. But this morning, the Shhhh “Secret Bonus” task popped up. Anyone else having it appear BEFORE all prizes won?

Sweet! Nothing like free donuts ahead of time. The Emblem stuff is glitching all over. Multiples of items, items gone missing, etc.
Bunny: That’s $150,000 for repeated tries at the 3 donuts. That is now verified by ea forum players who are that far along in the game and missed on their first try at the box.
Not sure who is giving you that information, but that is incorrect. It is only $100,000. WE verified it in our own games, as we always do. It is the same cost it has ALWAYS been since the bonus levels have been around.Ask any seasoned player. First opened box is free, 2nd $50,000, 3rd $50,000. So the total amount you spend will depend on how fast you tap on the box containing the 3 donuts. 😉

It was the standard the day we tested it. I appreciate you letting me know others are seeing different. Could be a change in the updates impacting it. I am testing it again to see. The first town I got 3 right away, so no option. I am waiting for the other test town to get there. Only a few more Emblems and I can try. I will update with my results.
So do you think it might be coded to be more depending on the cash the person has? How much cash did you have? If that is personal, just say you would rather not share. 🙂 I’ve got about $4 M.
I think it was a glitch. I’ve seen it many many times before when a new event is released that some items are priced wrong or show wrong. Usually EA catches it right away and corrects it. With this, no one is really there yet except those, like us, that use donuts to rush the game (though we do it for the blog). So I don’t think many caught the glitch in the beginning and EA fixed it before they could. So far all the test towns are $150,000 now. So…cool glitch at the time, no good anymore.

I have a question about the prizes concerning a few Stonecutters skins. I don’t have Arnie Pye or Frink or most of the premium characters. When I get to their skins prizes, will they be stored in my inventory like Barney’s Plow King skin from Christmas? Also, if I were to buy Frink’s skin without Frink, will it just get stored til I get Frink?
From what I see, yes…the skins do store away for use in case you get them in the future.
I tried to buy the Hibbert skin for 60 donuts but I haven’t unlocked him yet so it wouldn’t let me. Wish they would let me buy it and keep it in the “vault” until I finally DO unlock him as I’m a completeist.
Buying a skin for a character you do not have is different then winning a skin. To buy it…you do need to have the original character already. If you win it…it is yours as you got it for free…so it sits and waits for the character to be pruchased.
Yeah, I’m actually well past the level to get to the mission that unlocks Hibbert, I’m just behind task wise :/ I’m trying to rush them now in the hopes that I can make it to his mission before this even ends. It’s going to be close.

Grrrrrrr the number one task glitch is back I’m in UK so mine normally resets at 11.45 PM which it did and now it’s flashing again was working fine until reset booooooo hooooooo!

In the meantime try this…look on the calendar I made to see the time frames for the tasks (they go in order 1 to 4 for the day), then using that…go to the tasks list I have below and then you can just locate the characters on those tasks and see who has one of those random task in there lists to send them.
For instance, today is 1 hr/ 2hr/ 2hr/ 4hr…so find the tasks in those brackets and see if your character can be sent without tapping on Number 1.
Let me know if that works.

Are we to receive emblems when we spy (click a camera) . I get cash but no emblems. Is there something wrong in my game or in my mind? Perhaps I misunderstood.

You only get 60 taps when your 24 neighbor visiting resets. If you had used up those taps prior to unlocking the spy options (tapped on 20 neighbors cash) then you have to wait til you roll over to the next 24 hours. Also…once you get the new 60 taps…if you use them to gather cash instead of tapping on spy cams…you will lose a tap off that count. It is 60 TOTAL from the start of your 24 hour neighbor visits. So use them wisely.
