I am here to help you with Number 1. NOT THAT NUMBER 1!! The main character for our fun lil Stonecutters Event. THIS GUY!
SIDE NOTE: If you are not finishing these tasks before the end of the 24 hours, the task WILL roll over and become the #1 task for the day. This causes the game to then skip to #2 for the new day and move on from there. As some of you have seen, the days and times are all over. I believe this is due to they were set to run on the GMT clock, but are resetting on the players midnight time frame…this leaves a difference in the time windows. So YOUR game times may differ from the list. Not to mention if you keep rolling over tasks. Just focus on the task itself and characters involved and you will be fine.
UPDATE 6-6-14 11AM EST: It seems the tasks are now correcting back to the right hour rates for Friday. Let us know if you are still having the issue.
UPDATE 6-6-14: So as I am sure many of you are starting to notice as your timers are resetting for the day…the tasks for Number 1 are NOT lining up. It is so odd. The files…still the same. I even re-downloaded them all to check. Same. So…another glitch (good I guess?) and we are on repeat for Thursdays tasks. Got another message in wait with EA on it to see if I can get an answer…meanwhile…Look to Thursday for the set of tasks you will run into…unless it auto corrects itself.
UPDATE 6-5-14: If you are experiencing the glitch with the tasks disappearing, please go to the forums and post as well as contact EA.
In the meantime try this…look on the calendar I made to see the time frames for the tasks (they go in order 1 to 4 for the day), then using that…go to the tasks list I have below and then you can just locate the characters on those tasks and see who has one of those random task in there lists to send them. For instance, today (June 5th) is 1 hr/ 2hr/ 2hr/ 4hr…so find the tasks in those brackets and see if your character can be sent without tapping on Number 1.
Let me know if that works.

Solve Number 1′s Task
Number 1: When young brains freeze, it causes an insatiable appetite for following orders.
Homer: *gasp* You are more eveil than I imagined. Fortunately, our kids are too smart for that. They’d never fall for -!
Lisa: Hmmm, I suddenly really want to drink a Squishee.
Homer: *screams*
Another set of random tasks are initiated into the game to help you earn even more Emblems and the Emblem Prizes. The more tasks you complete during the day of the four, the more Emblems you earn for that day. WARNING!!! THESE WILL EXPIRE EVERY 24 HOURS SO GET THEM IN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! 8 GMT -8 GMT or 4AM EST – 3:59AM EST. (FYI…even though the files say 8 GMT, I noticed that my game actually resets at midnight in MY time zone. So just watch that countdown clock at the bottom of the tasks. “Hurry. Rewards reset in ##h ##m ##s” Don’t let it run out before finishing a few tasks.)
In this next section I am going to break down the tasks and all involved. The time frames that will be set for the day, the tasks that are in those time frames, and the characters that will be able to complete those tasks. (Send more than one if you can. I keep trying with no luck but hope to find a glitch. Lol.)
First up, the Calendar. This is just the break down of the times for the quests. No two games will get same 4 task requests in a day. They will vary per player. So here is what you can expect over the next month of game play as far as times needed for the tasks (Click on image to see larger scale).

Worked very hard to get the supper table. My last 2 hr quest was started. When I got back on line, after the 2 hours were up, I had no choice but to do an update. Did NOT get my supper table and all Stonecutter’s tokens gone.
I don’t think that was fair……
The calendar lists tasks for the 3rd of July but the new update is already out, if I don’t do the update do you know if I will be able to do the tasks tomorrow? It’s the only way I’m going to be able to finish so I hope so!!

Curiosity. The calendar says jobs until the 3rd. But countdown currently reads 23 hours. is The timer for the scroll?
There’s an extra day in the files for Number 1’s tasks…we’ll have to wait and see what happens. The event is scheduled to end tomorrow (July 2nd) tho.
So for the 5th day in a row…my daily tasks do not match up with the calendar. They have all been 1 to 2 hr tasks with an occasional 4 hr task. I am not complaining because I still get all the emblems every day even though I may be only doing 4 hours of tasks instead of the scheduled 20, 14, 16 hour task days. I have a town A (level 42) which I just finished obtaining Satan’s anvil and a B town (level 36) that i am working on getting the last prize. It happens on both towns. Wierd.
Hm that is weird. But hey, whatever works right? 🙂

Will he be here after the stonecutter update and what would his “normal, non-prophecy” tasks be????
After the event, we will all guaranteed have him as a NPC. We all hope EA will give him tasks but no guarantees.
I’ve only had the “make pessimist give to charity” for 5 days now. None of the other tasks showed up apart from the drink cold squishee
That’s interesting and really odd. Try storing the Stonecutter Lodge and replaceing it. That may trigger the tasks to come back up as they’re supposed to. If it doesn’t work your best bet is to contact EA & let them know. It’s stalled somewhere.
So we are all wrapping up, how many emblems does everyone have? I only have 1 more puzzle to solve ( Thursdays) and only missed 2 days of tasks. But I’m only at 22k. AND… Smithers has a “error code”. I click on his name via the a Town Hall and it takes me Mr Burns….?? (It did this early in the month when Smithers had a task)

Thank you! I stored mr burns mansion and then put it back. Bammo! Smithers is back in action. But getting to 35k emblems is almost impossible. I’m at 23k MTD and I’ve been all over it every day. Bummer…
Rooting for you to get as many emblems as possible. Lots of people have finished this one and trust me when I say it is a ton fairer than previous events. Glad SMithers is back to whip it, etc. Keep up with those #1 tasks for the 1K a day and I’m hoping for an outpouring of generosity from all your neighbors.

what if we are working on the 4th task and the date is set to change 2 minutes before the task ends will we not get the emblems from it?
The task will count for the next day. It’ll give you 150 and act as the first for the day.
It’s happened to me once or twice… same thing, a minute or two. I’m just happy it counts as your 1st task for the next day 🙂
Is anyone else getting extra Daily Actions when they visit friends? I think I am… At first, I thought I was just not clicking all 3 each time.. As I click 3 cameras and push the over arrow. I realized tonight however, that there’s no way I missed that many. Probably 75% of my friends still had 1 action left when I finished. That has never happened.
It’s happened in the past to people that if they tap 3 real quick and click to the next neighbor that the last one doesn’t register. This may be what happened. Try waiting a tick after that last tap and hopefully it solves this. Also might just be an isolated deal.

I don’t know if this was covered but I thought I’d update my finding. so you get 60 friend actions each day that give 1 token. However if you hit a stonecutter lodge you will get 5 tokens. 4 of these do not count towards your 60 action tokens . essentially you could get 300 tokens from putting cameras up in friends towns per day plus the 5 for every camera they put in your town.
Definitely covered. Glad you’ve been able to hit some lodges in your tapping.

Today the first of today’s tasks was already done when I first log in to the game this morning. I am pretty sure I don’t sleep-playing…
Uh oh… you sure? Today should be an easy 4 task day then lol.
I am on my third task (Kook to eat Bombe Cuisine), it is 9 in morning here. The second task was a 1 hour task, now I am on a 4 hour task.
New tasks starts at 3 in the morning for me.
And I didn’t see Number 1 releasing any new 150 emblems.
If you start a quest prior to the next day, but don’t finish it or tap on the thumbs up to clear it out…then the next 24 hour cycle go back and tap it…it now becomes task #1 for the new day. In other words, if you sent someone to do a task before midnight but did not tap it til AFTER midnight…you now just replaced your first task for that new day as they reset at midnight. So you only get 150 Emblems for that item, no matter where it was on the day before tasks. Then your next task will immediately be #2 as #1 was just replaced. Make sense?
Might be an oversight, but Krusty isn’t listed in the celebrity category and he can do the celebrity tasks.

I think it’s cool that they utilize otherwise rarely used premium buildings, including the Aztec Theater (Watch An Action Flick).
Since the update i am not getting xp is anyone else having this issue
You aren’t receiving any XP at all? If this is the case, it sounds like an issue you’d need to let EA know about. If your XP bar is high (ex. mine is over a million for next go at free donuts), you may not notice the bar increasing.

Hi, I have loved this update, but now I have been finding it so difficult to play with all the odd timings. There have been a lot questions about No.1’s Task line but I had not been helped much by any of the answers. Some of my friends have already given up, they need their sleep.
Now I think I have it sorted. I can re plan my day and tap away. Here is what I think is happening.
No. 1’s Tasks reset at 0000 PDT (PST-1) so Bunnys calendar shows the correct tasks for the day
e.g Sunday 15th June
4-1-2-1
However this set for Sunday is reset at midnight for GMT (BST-1) but at the midnight PAST the PDT reset.
Therefore if you start task 1 at 0001 GMT Monday 16th June (which is 4pm PDT)
the ‘set’ will be
4-1-2-1 NOT 2-1-4-4
Two examples-
Monday 16th June
Task 1 started at 0001 GMT 4hour task finishes 0401 GMT
Task 2 started at 0405 GMT 1 hour task finishes 0505 GMT
Task 3 started at 0508 GMT 2 hour task finishes 0708 GMT
Task 4 started at 0710 GMT which is 50 min before the actual tasks reset at 0000 PDT so is 1hr task
Monday 16th June
Task 1 started at 0001 GMT 4hour task finishes 0401 GMT
Task 2 started at 0601 GMT 1 hour task finishes 0701 GMT
Task 3 started at 0705 GMT 2 hour task finishes 0805 GMT
Task 4 started at 0810 GMT which is 10 min after the actual tasks reset at 0000 PDT
so you get the 4th task from the new set which is a 4 hour task (i.e.the 4th task on Monday)
Whatever tasks you start after 0800 GMT will be from the order of the tasks from that day.
If you only start task 1. before 0800 GMT and the rest after 0800GMT then you will have the 1st task from the day before and the 2nd 3rd and 4th from the current day
I hope thats understandable. The time to complete the tasks always resets at midnight in your time zone but it is the same set of tasks that are released at midnight PDT time and when the ’set’ changes at PDT time the ‘set’ changes for all time zones i.e 0800 GMT
The tasks in Bunny’s calendar are correct for PST time

No1’s daily task schedule isnt correct cuz today the first task was 2 hours only the second one 6 and the 3rd i dont know yet
They’re in various orders for each town…mine holds fairly true to this tho. So think each town is slightly different.
yeah have a similar one. 4-6-2 so far. just hoping that the last one ain’t six hours as well. because i wouldn’t be able to fit that in my evening schedule. 😀

Can’t always get 1000emblems a day:
Starts first daily task
Going to sleep
Wakes up finishes the daily task starts another one
Goes to school gets back finishes the second daily task
Third one finishes only have 4 hours left to finish the last one :\
I agree. Everything above 12hrs is horrible to manage. Dunno what EA thought when putting up this schedule. 🙁 Yesterday, there were 20hrs of action in a 22hr time frame. Who needs sleep anyway…
