Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Ah such fond memories of Halloween 2013. Not only are we SMACK DAB in the middle of Stonecutters BUT EA has now dropped Level 42 on us! You wanted more content…more content we’re getting!
More as we go through the update ourselves (and I get my phone to stop saying device is full…good thing I travel with my iPad and Tablet!) for now Krusty gets things rolling in Springfield. I’ll be back with more in a bit my tap, tap tapping friends!
UPDATE: Looks like this update comes with a bit of a server crash as well. At the moment Origin Servers are down, and having an issue connecting to games. If you’re currently logged into your game you should be good, but if you play multiple games (like I do), you’ll get a Origin Error when you try to log out and in again.
Looks like this is a relatively small update, as far as content is concerned. It still comes with a Freemium building/character combo & a Premium Building/character combo, but not too much in the way of decorations. Here’s the rundown:
Krusty kicks things off and will prompt you to build….the ITCHY AND SCRATCHY STUDIOS!!
Freemium Stuff:
– Itchy & Scratchy Studios- $800,000. 14×9 (it’s HUGE) and takes 24hrs to build.
– Roger Myers Jr.- Comes with Itchy & Scratchy Studios.
Premium Stuff:
– Rocket Car- 120 Donuts. Instant Build. Comes with a 2% bonus on all cash and xp. (requires Level 15)
–Chester Lampwick- Comes with the Rocket Car.
– Itchy & Scratchy Billboard- 40 donuts. Not unique (can have as many as you want). And awards a 1% bonus on all cash and XP.
NEW FP LEVEL
Level 9: KBBL Radio. (Similar to Channel 6, with different broadcasts you can make) (more info coming…we keep getting kicked out of the game) 4,500FP (after you reach/complete Level 8)

My krusty hasn’t kicked anything off for the event! Could Thisbe a glitch? Wondering if others have the same issue as well! I’m at level 39.
You kind of answered your issue in your statement. Only level 39. You need to complete the level prior to move ahead. So you have a few more levels to go.
Help! Anyone else having this problem?: I was eager and wanted to redesign my “channel 6/krusty studio/ and the soon to be complete Itchy & Scratchy Studio” Area, so I was impulsive and bought KBBL. When I went back to SF I get the “welcome”, “this is in your inventory” screen. I hit Ok hundreds of times and it won’t clear! I’m freaking! I need to get started on my new Number 1 tasks for the day! I’ve tried everything: hard close. delete and reinstall (which I’ve NEVER had to do, even with multiple known glitches). I tried logging on to different devices that I’ve never used and have the same problem. Anyone else pull this brilliant move and have the same problem? Solutions? HELP! please. I heart Bunny btw.

And I have seen similar issues like this before. If you can’t get past it no matter troubleshooting, sounds like you need EA. Take screenshots to have handy. Outside of that, you’ve done all we could suggest. Keep us updated.

Thanks! I figured. I just wanted too see if it was just me cause I’ve run into many of the glitches in the past almost 2 years and never had to take those steps, even with level resets, they’ve corrected themselves. I’m super bummed though which will lead to serious withdrawals. Thanks Bunny! You’re a GEM!

Did I read the price on Chester Lampwick right?!? 120 donuts and the car comes with a multplier?? I almost don’t want to post this comment in case this is another EA glitch and The Man is watching but here I go anyway…I was going to save up for Luann and she might still be the better bang for the dough, but I just hit 121 donuts as of today and will be eagerly awaiting the post as to whether or not he’s worth getting…so far all signs point to yes!
Each has its positives. Luann has hilarious tasks, money making building, and unlocks Fleet-a-Pitas.
The car is sweet. He has funny quests. Multiplier. Both are cool options.
Im on the fence about it. Chester won’t be voiced, I’m almost certain of that .
He’s the Tall Tales episode extra and the rocket car reminds me of Simpson’s Hit and Run. One of my all time fave. 2nd gen console games.
Simpsons Hit & Run was the reason I tried this game. The rocket car brings back fun memories of that game.

I am sick of getting kicked out, or being told the game has stopped working….on the point of giving up on this game
It can be a problem, particularly after an update, as all we addict of this silly ill game are frantically trying to log on. Just bare with it and it will eventually work 🙂
Always nice to have new content so I can’t complain, although it’s a busy time in summer so I could’ve waited another week. Unfortunately for me my Gil’s discount donuts from Christmas ran out (dang Shary bobbins being so hard to get) so I’m not sure I can justify spending more real $$, I just hate not having the premium characters…ahh the dialogue though has been great, so true! Nice job EA developers!
Kinda sad Bill and Marty don’t come with KBBL, either way I just want to say that “KBBL is going to give me something stupid!”
Awwww…well one of the tasks you can pick in there is there show, so you at least get to see there lil faces on the building when it is done. 😉
Was also hoping for Bill and Marty! Also wanted another task for Stampy, maybe something like “Enter KBBL Contest”. Would have been awesome!
Man we are really getting the goods now. I wonder, with the stone cutters event ending on July 2nd does any one think there will be a July 4th update or mini event like last year?
I have a feeling something will be in play for the 4th. But what exactly, we don’t know. We’ll know soon tho 🙂
I think a July 4th update then 1 week later World Cup final update. They gave us a Super Bowl update, which pretty much only the USA cares about. (other people do care about duper bowl, but not as much attention as World Cup – it’s as big, if not bigger, than Olympics!)

I always hear people asking for new land, but as of this level I am in the group that needs it. I was saving a spot for satans anvil and I even spelt “last prize here” In hedges lol but the studio was massive and took up my spot 🙁
Is there a PC way of saying I’m having a nerdgasm? If so I don’t want to know about it.

Is Krusty supposed to auto start the quest when you tap him? Krusty doesn’t have a yellow exclamation mark. I tried hard closing the app (didn’t work). I don’t like reinstalling the game. 🙁
Where are you in your game play levels? Finish level 41? You need to complete the prior levels to move forward.
Finished that. Now I’m really clueless. 🙂
So you completed the build for Vulgari and all of Bernice’s questline to completion? (Part 9)

Anyone else locked out after this update? After hitting tap to continue my game crashes. Reinstall didnt help. Already reported to EA.
Another update, another time I have to throw buildings into my inventory. Serious EA! Need more land!!!
Is it ironic that every time I need to remove buildings from my game, I need to also remove pictures and apps from my phone as well in order to make room for the new? Maybe this is all just an evil plot to get me to delete Family Guy.

That was taken away as soon as it hit. Too many glitches.
I love this update but I cannot actually build the I&S studio because when I place it and tap the tick it makes my game crash grrrr 🙁
Looks like they lowered the price of Sanjay’s house with this update. I’d been slowly working toward the $438k that it was listed as, I just purchased it for something like $290k.
Yup…if you look on our Realty Guide main page, you will see the breakdown of the multipliers for the top 8 tiers. Pricing is being updated as we speak on the buildings. More info coming in posts soon.
Why must it come to day when I just bought the elevator to nowhere! I wish they had a warning system for new levels.

Erro! Desperately behind in emblems and haven’t been able to load for more than 3hours now… Having withdrawals!
My only complaint is that i wish the buildings didn’t cost so much… 😞 that building is 800k and I have 1780000+ if I buy that building my money will drop big time… And I’m still trying to get through the stonecutters event…sigh… Plus with this level update, I had to remove some pics apps etc cuz my device didn’t have enough storage… Poutyface….
As with ANY game on ANY gaming system, the higher levels you reach…the more expensive items become. TSTO is no different. Don’t stress. It is a Level. Here to stay. You have PLENTY of time to run through it later. Focus on Stonecutters for now as that one IS limited time. 😉

I just thought what if the radio will be the theme for the next few friendship levels. Maybe we will get some of the characters in the next friendship level?

Man, I wish they would give us more real estate. Springfield is getting pretty dense, and I can only assume that the population density is going down as single family homes move off-board. I don’t know how much their servers OR our devices can handle, but it sure would be nice – Even if we had to navigate to districts, like we do to go to Krustyland. And, What about a Shelbyville adding?

Looking at just the info, nothing shows anyone needed to be unlocked. Just level 5. It will be a few days on my other test town to confirm as I have not loaded more donuts in it just yet and it is 400 donuts to speed it. Either way….MORE cool money earning stuff for free in our games. 😉
Oh god I NEED the rocket car. I am a huge fanatic over the Simpsons Hit and Run game and that was my favorite car in the game! BUYING IT!
