Today is the official 1 year anniversary of TSTO Addicts! Woo-hoo!!!!
On numerous occasions I’ve told you how we’ve worked hard to make Addicts different. To make it that place you want to keep coming back to. We wanted to make it fun and make you laugh! We didn’t start out as the biggest TSTO blog…but like I said we called ourselves “The Little Blog That Could”. We knew we had something special and worked hard to build and grow the community!
We’re insanely proud of what we’ve accomplished in one year, but we’ve never lost that “The Little Blog That Could” mentality. We haven’t changed our methods or our desire to be different. To be a fun place for Tappers to come and hang out and to bring you the WHOLE story. Not just walkthroughs and tech support but info ABOUT the game, where things came from, 2D/3D designs, contests involving readers….Tapped Out is a game, games are supposed to be fun right?!
So in honor of our 1 year Anniversary we wanted to share with you some of the numbers that have made up TSTO Addicts over the last year! So let’s pop the champagne and check out the numbers!
1,088- Average hits per day 1 year ago when we first started. (and we were THRILLED!)
65,769– Overall average number of hits per day now. (although it does jump up and down with the update cycle of TSTO)
86,858– Number of comments we’ve moderated over the last year!
6,967 (and growing!)- Number of likes on our Facebook Page! The most of any other TSTO blog out there!
1,495– Number of posts we’ve written to date (including this one)
500+– Number of $$ in Google Play and iTunes Gift Cards we’ve given out to date.
207– Number of countries that have had someone check out TSTO Addicts. (Break down of the top 10…1. US 2. UK 3. Canada 4. Australia 5. Germany 6. Netherlands 7. Ireland 8. Brazil 9. Belgium 10. New Zealand)
175– Number of comments, on average, we moderated every hour during Stonecutters.
10- Number of “troll” comments we’ve had to moderate and trash in 1 year! And a bulk of those came during Easter.

So there you have it Tappers…some by the numbers stats for Addicts over the last year. BUT…We wouldn’t be here with out all of you AMAZING Addict Tappers! We love each and everyone of you! Seriously, we love bringing you all the latest on TSTO, answering your questions, laughing with you & hearing about your lives! Thank you all so much for being part of this Community! We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far…but there’s so much more to come!

Just interested with all the numbers how many visits has the blog had overall. I was just interested how the site has grown. Also is there any way we could a post with a graphic showing how the number of vistors a day has changed. I would be interested how big the slump at easter was as I presume by this time your figures would show the same picture as the number of users using the game.

Quite honestly…we never really chose to post all that info for the main reason of this…it does nothing for our readers. All we do on this blog we try to do for the readers benefits and to help YOU out the best we can. Day to day stats, breakdowns, etc…they all are looked at more on the business side of things or by other blogs. We never saw any real benefit in posting them or keeping them up all the time. We prefer our focus to be on YOU as a person, as an individual, not just another number in the mix of things.

Sometimes we get held up and don’t get a chance to moderate through the comments as quickly as other times. We always see them though and get to them as soon as we can 🙂
Wow really one year, I thought it was longer than that. I was playing TO for a few months before I came to this site. I’m glad I found it, it really helps out a lot. With updates, glitches and finding friends. I’ll keep visiting here as long as I’m playing TO, which I don’t see me stopping anytime soon.

I appreciated this short but simple post, make what you want of numbers but to me those show how much great hardwork you all put in – been a comic addict for years but anti mobile gaming (I work in software and even before I did I’ve always had odd thoughts in this respect) anyhow fingers crossed one day I’ll get to peek around your towns as neighborenos 😜
I’m only month in btw, but hourly player on level 43…
My biggest upset is how many players nieghbourenos appear to be departing in the current lull 😞

This site is awesome. Run very well by you three. The concepts, hints, tricks, tips, run-throughs, artwork, episode tie-ins, and all of the extra little things you guy and ladies provide especially all of your comments to our comments is greatly appreciated and probably one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back daily. Some of us multiple times daily, which the numbers indicate. And each one of you has a good sense of humor that you bring with your articles and comments. Light fare but very informative is the strongest part of blogging and you three have excelled. Love visiting to get that extra little bit of information I may have missed. And you guys are really quick with covering all the updates when they happen. Sometime I get knowledge of an update from this site before I even get an update in my game. We will just keep following you for the next year.

I’m kind of amazed you have only had to moderate out 10 troll comments over that time…but maybe i’m just cynical lol.
lol we kind of are too. It also depends on what you define as a Troll comment. 10 is the number we refused to push because they were derogatory or would insight hate. Everything else we push.
But the bottom line is we have an AMAZING community here and even when you guys are upset about something you know how to express yourselves in a respectful manner 🙂
