With this new update we’ve been transported back in time and Springfield has gone Medieval on us! Either that or we’ve been transported into another game all together! In either case…new event means new questline. New questline means time for another Turbo Tappin’ Walkthrough!
We’ve already covered the main questline of this event here, so in this post we’ll tackle the side quests that will pop up during the event. These quests are where you’ll unlock Archer Lisa (Eco Castle) and Goblin Bart (Boxed In). Remember these quests will not start until you’ve reached Part 9 of the main questline and completed it.
We’re also going to cover the Extreme Castle Makeover questline that will start once you’ve build the Barbarian Castle. We’ll cover that first since it pops up before the other two in the game…

Extreme Castle Makeover Pt. 1
Barbarian starts
Upgrade Barbarian Castle- x4 Upgrades. Upgrade the Barbarian castle by using Elixir. Tap on the Castle to upgrade.
Place Castle Walls- x4. Place 4 walls you received from upgrading the castle. The walls will be in your inventory once earned. You will not be able to purchase walls until you reach Castle Level 10.
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Extreme Castle Makeover Pt. 2
Auto start
Upgrade the Barbarian Castle-Level 6. Upgrade the Barbarian Castle to Level 6, the 4 upgrades you used for Part 1 of this quest will count towards this.
Place Castle Towers- x2. Place 2 towers you received from upgrading the castle. The towers will be in your inventory once earned. You will not be able to purchase walls until you reach Castle Level 10.
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Extreme Castle Makeover Pt. 3
Homer starts
Place Medieval Decorations– x10. Place 10 Medieval decorations in your Springfield. The walls and towers you already placed will count towards this. There are freemium decorations in the store that will cost Elixir (Hay Cart, Banner & Stock).
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Extreme Castle Makeover Pt. 4
Auto start
Upgrade Barbarian Castle- Level 10. Your previous upgrades will count towards this. Upgrade your Barbarian Castle so it’s at Level 10.
Place Castle Gates– x1. Place Castle Gate you earned for upgrading, this can be found in your inventory once earned. You will not be able to purchase gates until your castle reaches Level 10.
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
The Eco Castle Walkthrough, which we’ll cover next, won’t start until you’ve completed Part 9 of Prince and The Premise. This is the questline where you will unlock Archer Lisa.
Eco Castle Pt. 1
Lisa starts
Collect Gold– 400 Gold. Collect 400 Gold to earn Castle Recycle and Archer Lisa.
Build Castle Recycle– Prize and takes 24hrs to build. You may have to pull this from your inventory if you won it prior to reaching this point in the questline.
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Eco Castle Pt. 2
Lisa starts
Make Archer Lisa Shoot Arrows– 8hrs, Earns Elixir and 70xp
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Eco Castle Pt. 3
Lisa starts
Collect Gold– Collect 900 Gold. All Gold you earned prior to this will count towards this goal.
Upgrade Archer Lisa to Level 2– Upgrade Lisa to Level 2 once you’ve collected 900 Gold on hand. Remember character upgrades WILL NOT take away from your Gold total.
Make Archer Lisa Make Arrows– 1hr, Earns Elixir and 17xp
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Eco Castle Pt. 4
Lisa starts
Place a Recycled Tower– Earn these by Leveling up Castle Recycle with Elixir. Once earned it will be in your inventory. You won’t be able to purchase from the store until Castle Recycle has reached level 10.
Make Archer Lisa Judge People from Above– 24hrs, Earns El
Upgrade Castle Recycle– Level 6. Upgrade Castle Recycle using Elixir until it reaches Level 6
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Eco Castle Pt. 5
Auto start
Place 9 Recycled Decorations- Place Castle walls, towers & gates you’ve earned from Leveling up Castle Recycle.
Upgrade Castle Recycle- Level 10. Upgrade Castle Recycle using Elixir until you’ve reached Level 10.
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Bart’s questline for his castle will kick off after you’ve completed Part 1 of Eco Castle. His questline will run alongside Lisa’s Eco Castle questline.
Boxed In Pt. 1
Bart starts
Collect Gold– 1400 Gold. Collect 1400 Gold to earn Boxingham Palace and Goblin Bart
Build Boxingham Palace– Prize and takes 24hrs to build. You may have to pull this from your inventory if you won it prior to reaching this point in the questline.
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Boxed In Pt. 2
Bart starts
Make Goblin Bart Loot– 12hrs, Earns Elixir and 100xp
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Boxed In Pt. 3
Bart starts
Collect Gold– Collect 2100 Gold. All Gold you earned prior to this will count towards this goal.
Upgrade Goblin Bart to Level 2– Upgrade Bart to Level 2 once you’ve collected 2100 Gold on hand. Remember character upgrades WILL NOT take away from your Gold total.
Make Goblin Bart Pillage Teacher’s Fridge– 8hr, Earns Elixir and 70xp
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Boxed In Pt. 4
Homer starts
Place 3 Cardboard Decorations- Place Castle walls, towers & gates you’ve earned from Leveling up Boxingham Palace.
Make Goblin Bart Check for Traps– 4hrs, Earns Elixir and 45xp
Upgrade Boxingham Palace– Level 6. Upgrade Boxingham Palace using Elixir until it reaches Level 6
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
Eco Castle Pt. 5
Auto start
Place 9 Cardboard Decorations- Place Castle walls, towers & gates you’ve earned from Leveling up Boxingham Palace.
Upgrade Boxingham Palace- Level 10. Upgrade Boxingham Palace using Elixir until you’ve reached Level 10.
Goal Complete Earns 100 Elixir and 10xp
And that completes the major side quests that will popup during the event!

I’ve already completed part 4 of eco-castle but castle boxingham is still locked in my inventory. Is something wrong here or what could it be?
I think I figured this out. I can’t build boxingham yet because I haven’t unlocked (normal) Bart yet.
I have Boxingham Palace and the walls and the quest to make Goblin Bart loot, but I don’t have Goblin Bart. Any ideas??

So I unlocked the boxed in quest but I have no castle to build I have basically nothing pertaining to the quest yet it’s telling me to place the castle. If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it greatly

How do you get goblin Bart to loot? I have built another kwicki mart but every time I click on do it it just keeps sending me to purchase buildings.
It’s an outdoor task so shouldn’t require any building. Have you built his castle yet?
It’s way too easy. We have this until Oct an im almost done an collected all the prizes.
There are still lots of players way behind so I’m just happy they still have a chance.

I’ve had Wizard Marge in my inventory, but locked, for what seems like ages. What do I need to do/reach to unlock her?
Marge opens at a certain point in the questline. Until then, she will wait in your inventory until she is needed in the game. Double check the turbo tapping post to see if you’re at the point where she should have unlocked. If you are, you may need to contact EA to fix it.
Sorry I’m posting this here, but can you guys put a link where I can expose my douds that have nothing to do with the event? After my ‘thank you’ you can clean the post so it won’t mess things up here.

My thoughts on the other castles are blech! Eco is so ugly I try and hide the upgrade pieces that we have to get. Not that impressed with boxingham palace either but I love the traditional Barbarian Castle. Am I just an ingratte or is anyone else wishing they didn’t have to place hideous stuff in their town?
Sorry if you’ve covered this elsewhere, but if I clear buildings to collect the money, does that mean neighbours can’t attack them or does it not make any difference?
The two are separate. 5 Attacks are one. 3 Neighbor taps are another.

Im pretty sure if youve tapped and gathered all the money from buildings and house when your neighbor comes to your town it wont have anything for them to tap. Opposite goes for buildings with hand shakes. If you dont clear them there wont be anything for your neighbor to tap. Which causes people to end up deleting your town cuz they arent gaetting anything from you. Make sence?
Yes, thank you! I’ve been leaving all the buildings you can’t attack (clearing handshakes aside), I just wasn’t sure if clearing the cash off houses meant neighbours couldn’t attack them!
Is the “Shock to the system” quest line to keep you earning gold and reminded of the prizes after large? It appeared today with pt. 1 asking for 9500 gold.
Yes, it’s just the tasks to earn the balance of the prizes.
What’s the “Shock to the system” quest line? It popped up today with a pt. 1 and saying I needed to collect 9,500 gold. Is that just like a quest line to keep you reminded to earn good for the last 5 prizes?
Yes, just a little elixir bonus you get as you earn enough gold for the final prizes. (since you get 100 Elixir for each quest completion)
Is there a way to get more walls and towers for castle recycle and boxing ham palace once they’ve hit level ten? I do t really wanna spend donuts on them tbh
At 150,000 Elixir and Level 21 you’ll earn more walls. However, I don’t know at which point you’ll earn more towers (if at any point). It seems they’ll all cost donuts (for Castle Recycle and Boxingham Palace…Barbarian Castle will cost Elixir)
I keep getting a notification to my phone on my Simpson’s tapped out. The notification reads “generating tickets (hidden)” or something like that. When I tap on it to have me brought to whatever it is, it brings me to tapped out. But just the general screen. What is that? What tickets are generated? And where are they hidden?

How are you guys blowing through this so quickly? I am barely to 5000 gold and I’m attacking every time I get nerds – I get raided a little but not as much as I should. Maybe I need to remove the in actives from my friend list…

How is it that everyone is “flying through” this? I play religiously and only have 7000 gold. Is there a system that does more than others to get more elixir or gold? There is a friend that I visit that is over 40000. Yes, forty thousand! How is this possible?

I’m already at the last part of all of them:( Hopefully they will add more side quests.
I really hope they have more planned for this long event. I’d expect a level update at some point. SInce you’re so far though, you should have one amazing Barbarian Castle by the time you’re done.
Is anyone reporting missing gold because this morning I was at 20500 and 12 hours later I was at 19500?
I haven’t seen this yet. You could definitely check the EA forum. Also make sure to open a ticket for your missing currency. Until you’re fixed, couldn’t hurt to keep track of your levels. Here’s links to help.

Oh I wached that on the news this morning. The simpsons is so huge around here in the portland area since it is matt groening’s home town. When the movie came out, the bakery I worked at actualy had me Decorating our doughnuts simpsons style. I like when I find new things around the city that I can tie to the simpsons like the other day I drove down flanders street and it made me think of a bunch of funny flanders moments and it made me smile.
That’s very cool. If you ever feel like writing, it’d be interesting to see all the ways your town connects to the show. Nudge nudge wink wink… cough…. from the mouth of addicts post. 😀
Do all the prizes unlock as part of the story? Just wondering because I won the truckload of elixir earlier today and it hasn’t been added to my total or appeared in my inventory. I could have done with that, I need walls!
Some folks have reported the same thing. Easily fixed by letting EA know. I saw a bunch with quick resolutions.

Not all of us are flying through. Some of us are really struggling and see no way to finish. I have only 4300 gold and am finding this absolute torture. I rarely get attacked. I send my nerds out as soon as I get them with low yields. This update stinks.
When u upgrade archer lisa and bart,homer does it cost u ur gold? The reason I ask is i jst upgraded all of them at least twice and my gold is still the same amount.
Nope. Similar to the prizes awarded for Gold, it is just a matter of hitting that particular amount and the option to upgrade is unlocked. 😉
I can’t find the quest dialogue anywhere. Do you have that somewhere?
Do you mean all of the dialog word for word? There is a LOT of it and it takes a lil more time to put together. Right now we are focusing on the basics.

Oh. Got it. Thought I saw it already. Guess I was wrong. I was tapping for my wife late the other night (she asked me to.) and I wanted her to be able to read my favorite dialogue since I started playing this game the day it came out.
Does ‘Rolling With It’ go anywhere? I appear to have screwed it up by using a die before the quest and can’t decide if I need to do anything about it.
I found that going to a neighbor and/or random and using a die as well as in my own town by tapping anywhere option…it seemed to clear it out. I also had to go to the task bar and open the task as well as click on it to finalize it.
Don’t meant it be a downer on the event but does anybody else feel kinda cheated by the personal prizes this is the first event were tbh in not bothered if I don’t win anything lol, I think all the best stuff has been won already such as the news skins and barbarian. You can actually but most of the stuff and awarding the cheaters 20 and the truckload of elixir is tbh lazy. There easily could have been new characters more skins and even additional buildings or decorations. I like the whole concept of event and the quest line is very entertaining but after the stone cutters I just feel like we kinda had a one step forward 2 steps back moment. It’s just the lack of depth in this content update is underwhelming just my opinion
I feel like the side quests asking you to get 9600 gold or 15000 gold (and whatever ones beyond) should have been “The Ecstasy of Gold” entitled. Would have made for a nice “The Good, The Bad, The Ugly” reference.
I seem to be flying through this event (no donuts spent). I only have 3 more prizes to win, 1 of which will be won today. Is there more content coming (or do you think there will be)? Is this normal for everyone else? Seems to good to be true for an event that is supposed to last awhile.
It seems everyone is flying on through. Do not know if more to come just yet. It’s a matter of waiting and seeing if they have more up their sleeves.

So when we do the assign characters to go to Lisa’s recital quest under Maude( whos already a ghost am dead) it says under threat of death. This just further proves my point that the writers are lazy like when they choose to opt out for Burns as the villian every single time.
