I’ve been noticing a few questions popping up in the comments of some posts and, while we try to answer each one individually, I thought everyone could benefit from the answers to these questions. So it’s time for another addition of Addicts Question Corner….
How Often to Rigellians Spawn?
These little buggers actually spawn at a pretty decent rate. They appear in your town at a rate of 1 every 5 minutes.
What’s the Max About of Rigellians I Can Have in My Town At Once?
Max is 50 at one time.
Is there a Rigellian Bank, Where It’ll Hold Extras If I Don’t Clear Them In Time?
Yes. The bank holds 30. So overall you can have 80 Rigellians at one time. Although only 50 will appear in your town at once. Once you clear 1 of those 50 a new one will appear from the bank.
What Can’t I Complete the Trick Or Treat Task?
This is the LAST quest in the first phase of Halloween. Think of it as “busy work”, having you do what you’re already supposed to do (collect treat bags) while you wait for the next phase of the event to start (on the 2oth). So once you complete the tasks at hand, send 10 kids to Trick or Treat and open 10 Treat Bags, a new one of the exact same quest will appear. You’re not losing your mind…well some of you aren’t 😉 ….it’s how it’s supposed to work. Don’t worry, you’re not missing ANYTHING. There’s no more questline after this task…not until phase 2 starts on the 12th 🙂
All My Ammo Disappeared When Trying to Shoot Down a UFO in my Neighbor’s Town.
This is a glitch, but a good glitch. It’s only supposed to take 1 ammo shot to shoot down a UFO in a neighbor’s town. So if it’s taking more than 1 it’s a glitch and that’s not supposed to happen. If you want your Ammo refunded contact EA and let them know, at the very least they can refund your lost Ammo.
HOWEVER….this is a good glitch so you might not want to report it. Many of you are reporting that even though there’s no UFO, when it takes your Ammo it’s thinking there’s more UFOs in the town…thus giving you the UFO prizes for shooting them down. Which is awesome, since the UFO prizes can range from treat bags to donuts!
What Does Leveling Up the Nail Board Do?
I know at first glance it may seem completely useless….BUT there is an advantage to doing it. Leveling up the Nail Board increases the radius of your tap when you squish Aliens in your town. The higher the level the larger radius you’ll have and the larger the radius the more aliens you can squish in 1 tap.
Can You Still Get Donuts From Visiting Friends if You’ve Maxed Out Your FP?
Yes. There’s still a chance to earn donuts from friend actions after you’ve maxed out your FPs.
Do I Need to Leave Buildings for Neighbors To Tap? How About Aliens?
No. Tap anything and everything in your town that you want to tap. (Houses, Buildings, Aliens, Grem-Aliens) There will still be aliens for your neighbors to tap in your town even after you’ve cleared them.
Where’s the Rigellian Shrub and Queen?
They’re not in the game yet to craft. Remember this will be released in phases…so they’re not part of phase 1. However, you can earn the shrub in a treat bag, there’s a small chance for it.
When Will Other Items From Halloween Past Appear?
Currently they’re no in the game. EA is doing this event in phases…so they may appear in a future..but as for now they’re not in the game. You can look everywhere, you won’t find them. 🙂
If I Craft An Item, Will the Items Used to Craft It Disappear?
Yes, once you craft an item the number of whatever item was required to craft it will disappear. So craft wisely! (And yes, you may want to hold off on the Spooky Walls..since it’s just 1 piece of wall (like a castle wall). Also, you can win them in treat bags 😉 )
Do I Need To Craft Items in Order Or Can I Skip One & Save Up?
No, this is a create your own adventure type of play. When it comes to crafting you do not have to do so in order, you can jump around all you want. So I would suggest saving up those precious items for the more coveted items to craft… 🙂
Why Is My Question/Comment Still In Moderation?
We LOVE you guys…you’re seriously AWESOME and we love helping you all we can! However, keep in mind that during events like this the comments can go crazy! (just take a look at our main Halloween is here post…that has over 1,500 comments and counting) So it can take us a little while to get back to you (plus..we are human, we do sleep & eat & have lives…sorta 😉 )….but that doesn’t mean we won’t. It just means give us a little bit of time and we’ll get your question answered.
Oh…and don’t panic if you see other comments after yours get approved. Sometimes they’re just Friend requests…or something simple that we can push right away…doesn’t mean we love you any less 😉

Why Can’t Witch Marge Trick Or Treat?
It seems there is some confusion in characters so I am adding this lil bit to the post. There are TWO skins that Marge has that seem to be throwing players off. So I wanted to post the info and images here to help.
This is WITCH Marge. You only got her from previous Halloween events after buying the Cauldron with donuts. WITCH Marge goes trick or treating.
This is WIZARD Marge. You got her from the Clash of Clones event and she can NOT trick or treat.
I hope this helped to clear up that bit of confusion on Marge’s skins for the event. 😉

After buying 100 chocolate bars i now finally have the grand pumpkin! + the spooky house whoo hoo. Only thing i want now is the OBE from phase 3. The rest of the prizes are kinda lame imo. Saving all my ammo for phase 3

Help!!! Ive had Hugo for close to a week now and i believe i completed all of his tasks (nothing new has come up) but the spooky house has still not unlocked as a task. When will this happen? Has anyone earned enough trwats for the pumpkin house yet? I play 2-3 times a day and still not there!

I hope this is the right place to ask this question: Is the trick or treat task going to keep repeating for the whole update? I kept reading that it was supposed to end after the first section ended (10/20). It’s after 10/20 and I’m still stuck sending youngsters trick or treating on an endless loop.
Yea it’s just going to keep repeating. We thought it would end when new dialogue appeared, but it’s just a permanent quest for the event. Think of it as a way to get free money for doing what you’re already supposed to be doing 🙂

Hi I’ve been getting ray guns in place of probes all day. The personal prizes (bulldozer etc) have showed up but the rigellian queen hasn’t shown up to craft at all it’s still the same items (spooky house, pumpkin house). Is there a delay in stuff showing up sometimes?

I have a huge request to ..well request:
I’m a freemium player and am trying to get a schedule type of how often I have to play to stay on target without the help of donuts (is that even possible ??) and I’m not talking about the total I need in a day. I saw the calendar. Could someone give me a general breakdown of when they play and how much time in total in a day to meet the target?? I hope I make sense and Much appreciated !!
New Calendar for Ray Guns is coming..but going in ever 6-8hrs and clearing your town is a good start. Do that at least 3 times a day. In addition make sure you visit neighbors & shoot down UFOs. Also drop Grem-Aliens and squish them when you see them. If you have more time going in every 4 hrs is even better 😉

Does the Spooky House contribute towards any of the Conform-o-Meter categories? If so, which one? Also, once the event is over and it stops earning gold treat bags, does it earn $$, and, if so, how much?

They may be changing it. We are waiting for Phase 2 to launch to confirm.
My mom noticed the cemetery is now gone, so I jumped on buying the drive-in…do you know how long we have to buy Devil Flanders and the other stuff they made available today?
Honestly, I don’t have a clue. EA’s all over with these time limits. My guess is 2 weeks…but with EA you just don’t know. However, the stuff that’s new (Drive-in etc) should remain for the entire event.
Saw that witch marge is available to buy (70-75 donuts) i was saving up for crazy cat lady (20 donuts away) but wondeting if i should just wait longer and get witch marge in the meanwhile. Anythoughts?

We have answered this MANY times over. There are no dates on the items in Make A Things. None at all.
Is there knowledge about if the Halloween probes carry over to phase 2 of the event?

I hate to ask for this information because I am sure u have probably posted it a few times already, but I couldn’t find it. I have three towns without the hospital and I tried to unlock it like u had suggested a while back. Now they have Mr. Burns needed it also. How do I get ahold of EA for this issue? Try to do a phone call (tell then you’re missing an item). When you get the call let them know you’re missing the hospital and nothing you can do is triggering it. Ask if they’ll just put it in your inventory for you, as you’ve heard them do for other players. Hopefully that works and helps! 🙂

I have Gypsy Fortune Teller Shop in my town (don’t remember how I get it), but I don’t Maude. I saw on the site that now She can be bought together with Gypsy Fortune Teller Shop for 150 donuts, but I don’t have possibility in my town even no option to buy Her without the building. If i miss something or it’s just not possible to buy Her?
Also seen in that last phase of Halloween You have to earn 14900 Long Proteins to get last prize. Will they be earnable the same as Probes? I think no.. but i don’t know. So i ask what strategy to adopt, now when i got last prize and work for Prestige Bonus in order not to regret in the future that I don’t save Treats Bags, ammo, gremlins etc. What do You think?
As we are not even to that part of the game, there is no info we can offer. Wait til it goes live and you can find the info then. 😉
My only suggestion is go for what YOU want. Get as many treat bags as you can to help with that.
As for Maude…check your lil brown box inventory storage… ALLLLLL the way to the end of it. If she isn’t there, contact EA.
Unfortunetly She isn’t here. I will contact EA. As for strategy i only ask Your and other people for opinion what they thought as i think many of people play from start of the game and would have valuable advices.
I get that, it is just this is a new way of EA doing it. So we are unsure what to expect next. Lol. 😉
I have done the “Keep Trick or Treating” quest multiple times, so I ought to know the answer to my own question… But, is the reward only 100 XP (and not a treat bag)? If it’s only XP and money then I am thinking of not opening my treat bags and storing them up instead. My hope is that in the next phase of the event, one of the possible rewards coming from the bags will be no longer be probes, but the next phases necessary reward (can’t recall what it’s called).
Well…you get the bags from the kids…not the task itself. So in a way you are still earning them. Up to you if you want to stock up on them. 🙂
Thanks for the reply, Bunny 🙂 I was just trying to remember what the reward is for completing the “Keep Trick or Treating” quest. I was going to save up my collected bags, rather than opening them, but I opened 10 more bags to find out what the reward actually is. Quest completion is only worth $100 and 10 XP. So, considering the nominal reward, I am going to store up the rest of my bags and open them once phase two is upon us.

If this question was asked already, excuse me please, but I was wondering do the current crafted items, like the pumpkin house and such, expire at the end of the first twelve day cycle? Or will I still be able to craft them throughout this event?
Is it wise to stop opening and a ave all your treat bags after you’ve completed the prizes you wanted? I just didn’t want them to disappear and restart on the 20th. Instead I’m hoping for a head start in the next round. Any thoughts?
I would say open them all just in case, but those are my thoughts.

In your town or in neighbor’s towns? In your town you have to buy the Ray Gun to do it. In Neighbors towns you need Ammo.

What do you mean they disappeared? Did you send them off on the tasks? If so, they are out wandering around. Database doesn’t trick or treat. He stays inside online. Lol.
Hi I cannot seem to catch the spawned aliens put in my town by friends… They run about I tdp like crazy but cannot kill them!- they sit & drool! Please help?!!!
Try to exit out of your town…like to Krustyland or a Neighbors…then go back in and try again.
I am new to the Halloween event, so sorry if this sounds really dumb but why are the alien ships in my town? The game tells me to go to my friends’ towns but none appear there. Am i doing something wrong?
There are two ships you will see. The one in YOUR town will be Kodos. In order to get her, you have to spend donuts on the Ray Gun and shoot her down.

The Rigellian UFO in your Neighbors towns are ones you can tap on and destroy if you have collected ammo from treat bags. These are random and will not always appear.
