Showoff Annoucement: Halloween/Wizarding World of Angelica Button 2017

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time…calling all Springfield designs of Spooky (and not so spooky) Proportions! We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff featuring your Halloween inspired designs! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!

Now that the THOH event is nearing the end (remember it ends next Tuesday), it’s time to show off your towns. So send us your Halloween/Angelica Button inspired deigns and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs, on TUESDAY November 14th…so you’ve got about a week (ok a day short of a week) to prep your towns. Take your time and design as you see fit! 🙂

So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm EDT Monday, November 13th. Can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.

You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.

Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

Now that Halloween is officially over in Springfield , it’s time to showoff your towns. So send us your Halloween inspired deigns and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs, on SATURDAY November 26th…so you’ve got over a week to prep your towns. Take your time and design as you see fit! 🙂

So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm EDT Friday November 25th. Can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

I get it…a lot of you are angry. Your frustrated. Your game isn’t working right. You feel cheated. You’re mad as hell and you’re not going to take it anymore. I get it, I really do. I’m angry too. I even wore my Angry socks today…

Hopefully that at least made you crack a smile..or even a little laugh…(and yes, those are the socks I’m wearing today…those are indeed my feet lol)

Issues/Bugs/Glitches/Problems/Lack of Game to download….are not new issues for this game. And if you’ve been playing as long as I (or Wookiee, or Bunny, Or Patric) have, you’ll know we see them all the time. And well..

They suck.

It sucks when it happens. We hate when y’all are impacted by them…even more we hate when we’re impacted by them. (Wookiee’s currently experiencing one of his own…again)

So let’s compile a list of all the issues and tackle some of your burning (get it..because of the angry socks hahaha) questions and see if we can put our colletive minds at ease. (as well as hold EA’s feet to the fire to fix some of these bugs…)

2D 101: Decorations

Happy 2D Tuesday Addicterinos!

Bunny and I have written a lot of words about how we make our 2D creations. Thought I would mix it up a little this week and just show the different decorations which can be used for various colors.

While this list is not all inclusive, it is most of the decorations we use to make our art. I think I can speak for Bunny and I when I say we seriously want EA to come out with even more simple decorations of different colors to expand the art we can make.

I wanted to keep this post short but also wanted to show off all the cool Halloween-inspired 2D that was done this event as well as some of the decorations used in each.

Happy 2D Tuesday everybody! Hope every one’s weekend went well. The image above is a little craziness I experienced last week while editing images late at night. Poor bunny seems to have been run ragged by Alissa the Slavedriver, errr, I mean Amazing so I made this tribute to the both of us. I must admit this made me laugh so hard, I felt I had to share. It’s also an homage to The Simpsons Movie if you didn’t catch that reference. No excuses for the madness, just felt I had to prove I could do something creative that didn’t involve my tapping fingers lol.

What the Heck is a Donkishbroomcken?

Wow… that’s one heck of a word in the title. Hi… Wookiee here. Sorry about the giant word but it came to mind while writing about one of my favorite Treehouse of Horror moments. Previously here at Addicts, the episode this came from was shown in two different posts: A pumpkin house ramble by yours truly and this great walkthrough by Alissa the Amazing.

Sad fact about being so crazy busy blogging about ghosts and gremlins and GOO (Oh my!) is that not everything covered showcases ALL the amazingness in the game. The Suzanne quest is really funny but, for reasons only EA knows, did not show off what I consider to be her best task. This 12 hour task brings this Wookiee joy unimaginable.

Suzanne the Witch has a 12 hour joint task with Homer which shows off one of my favorite parts of the “Scary Tales Can Come True” segment of TOH XI.

Well… hello there all you classy Addicts… how’s life? Bored with Halloween yet although there’s still 19 days left?

In the midst of ghostbusting, dehaunting building and popping all them evil mogwais, it’s hard sometimes to notice all the little things in both you and your neighborinos’ towns.

Reader richardalls asked a great question:

“Who’s the guy with the feathers on his head and how do u acquire him. I have seen him in a lot of my friends game. He’s freaky lookin.”

Well boss, you’re right on all counts… he does have feathers on his head and he is freaky lookin.
