Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well the end of Halloween is quickly approaching (ends Nov. 12th), so I figured now would be a good time to take a look at how all of the new additions from Halloween 2014 impact your Conform-O-Meter rating.
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the Halloween event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring us a ton of new items to add to our Springfield. Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating….

Last night, I got the last prize, U.B.O and when I clicked the button to place him in my town it said he was placed but he is no where to be found! Is there some kind of glitch or something? Has anyone else had this problem?
Did you try to tap on the Character he is a skin for? Mr. Burns 😉

My righteousness took a hit during the event, dropping from 5 stars to 1 1/2 stars. Nothing I did fixed this. Hopefully, the update will allow a fix, or show me some vandalism (hidden during the event) that can be repaired. Or something. Meanwhile, I guess it’s time to find some use for a bunch of training walls.
After reviewing last year’s post on the righteousness rating, it’s obvious that the only real fix will come from the training walls.

It wont be a craftable item. That is just the default message for the prizes. Turn off your auto update for the app in your app market and keep collecting as long as you can.

All houses jump to a Indolence +10 by default. Unless we note otherwise. 😉
7pm deadline for event end clicked over my time with a whimper rather than a bang! A popup gave me a final chance to craft or buy any items I still want, (which I’d already done on both my ID’s) but other than that no Update or other new items to use up all those gummy bears & eggs were offered. I did check on crafting, just in case there was a final inclusion. Nothing. So the crafting items inventory will probably disappear with the update when it arrives. Sorry for taking up space when everyone else here is asleep, but my perspective is that the end time favours the Southern Hemisphere.
Gotta wait for the Update to remove it all.
Maybe I should clarify… A lot of my friends list was garnered from this site. There is no way to know what country those on your friends list come from. It appears many of mine are Americans, Canadians, & a few from UK Germany & Europe, along with about 3 Aussies. If my two ID’s, both starting with dexter are on your friends list, then that is me! BTW Dexter is my Border Collie! Thanks to all friends, this has been a fun event with your kind help!
I used to like Gummy Bears as my favourite treat! I’ve kind of gone off them now, seeing as there are so many left in my inventory & unuseable this close to end time (7pm AESDST – Aust Eastern Standard Daylight Saving Summer Time) It’s now 5pm my time in Australia. Time factor mentioned for those who may have Aussie friends & not realise the timezone differences, or the fact that those late night visitors are on the other side of the world! check the time stamp when I post!
I hope they give something for the ingredients not used, even $1 for each one would be something. I have heaps of gummi bears (and others, but mainly gummi bears) that I’m not going to use, it’d be a shame if they just got binned.
Also, I was a bit stoopid. I visited all my neighbours like a good little boy but have since picked up some ammo. Now there’s nothing to shoot down. Should’ve thought of that!
I think the UFOs are separate from the friend actions, so you can still go shoot them down.
I’m pretty sure you can shoot down UFOs after you’ve collected. Just click through ’em.
I do it every night. I get my actions and then still find UFOs to shoot down..
Hmm, no it’s never worked for me like that. If I’ve done my actions the UFOs just don’t appear. Just been through all 101 (just before cut off time), not a single UFO. 🙁
Not going to go into my feelings on the event at this point, I think they are pretty well known. Trying to decide if I want the DTD or the Grand Pumpkin/Pumpkin House more as I am WAY short to being able to get both.I am going to be well short on UBO unless the game suddenly decides it likes me in the next couple of hours.
I have suggestions for 2 questions when you guys do your wrap up poll. 1. Did you experience the multiple alien face grabbing glitch? and 2. If you played both did you prefer the FG or TSTO Halloween event. I am really curious how many people made all of the major prizes without the Hunting Licence or the glitch.
I have really enjoyed this event. I got all of the prizes and even finished a few days early. I spent the last couple of days crafting Rigellian shrubs because I got plenty of spooky walls from the treat bags.I hope they have more events like this one. There was a lot to do and I never got bored or wished it was over.
Need more new Krusty Land stuff. Its become the land that time forgot

I wonder if EA would do one of those free gifts to everyone, again, like the one during Valentine’s Day. If not a new cool deco/npc/crossover-character for SF, a new THOH themed ride for KL would be nice!

Small mistake, spooky walls are adding 0.05% on XP and money earnings, not vanity. I guess the vanity comes from the similar looking cobblestone walls. Or am I wrong? I am going to spend all my candy on spooky walls!

never cared about the meter, never even payed attention to it ever.
I do the same but some folks really pay attention to it. Different strokes for different folks.
So does the event officially end when the timer says or will it last a few hours longer? I am still short on the Burns UBO skin and the prize timer is at 9hrs and counting.
It depends on when the update hits to remove it all. Just know anytime after 8gmt early morning is borrowed time.
So happy! Earned U.B.O., was able to craft the Rigellian Queen, a Tribal Hut and the Hover Craft! I treated myself to a tentacle tree to celebrate! 💃 Thanks so much for the event calendar, it really helped to keep me focused and on track! Now bring on the winter holidays!
I have everything from this Halloween event! Premium, crafting, freemium stuff… EVERYTHING! This is the first event that I have really enjoyed since starting during the thanksgiving event last year. Thank you addicts for everything you’ve done! Until next time.. 😉

Has there been any indication that they will extend the event for a few more days (happened with a couple of old events)? Still 2,500 away from the final prize and was wondering if I should just resign myself to missing out…again. Because I keep the Sabbath, I can’t play from Friday night to Saturday night. Made it virtually impossible to get any of the final prizes. But I digress…love the website. Keep up the great work!

I managed to tap my way to 14900 protein strings and unlock the Burns Ghost only to have it not appear in my town when I clicked on it in my inventory. Is this a glitch that anyone else has had a problem with and if so how can I fix this. All that tapping only to not get the ghost……..HRUMPH!

DUH!!!! Okay Burns is on a task so I will have to wait till he is done to outfit the old codger in his ghost garb. My Folks are originally both from Germany but I was born and raised in NJ, Franklin Lakes more specifically where I still have my office and shop but now reside in Randolph. Over the summer I went on vacation for a week and only did the daily tasks and kept everyone busy for that same amount of time. I got spray painted and still kept my 5 stars. Now that my town full I tried to eliminate one of the 2 brown houses I have and that’s when I lose my 5 stars. Thanks for all of the hints and walkthroughs! Love them!
Any suggestions what to craft with remaining materials? Ive made at least one of everything. What’s your favorite of the repeatable items?

Will the event b done at the exact time they say or will they b having a couple days til they end it like they usually do because I’m so close to the last prize n this will b my 1st time getting the main prize I got a lil bit over 13 thousand I’m so close! Not cool
We do not know when the update to pull the event will hit. That all depends on EA. Just know any time AFTER 8GMT is borrowed time.
As of right now (typing this at 9:50GMT) the UBO disappeared right on time but I can still craft stuff in the make-a-thing workshop — I’m sure that will go too, once the update hits.
I can’t find the twirl and hurl in any of the Krustyland menus. Am I missing something?

Never mind – just read the post on this and points requirement goes up for each level – have progressed quite a few levels during Halloween event so that must be it…
My tree-hugging rating went down to no stars despite adding shrubs, the tentacle tree and the dead tree – guess this is glitch ?
I have a ton of broken fences, candy corns and all that other stuff still in my Make-A-Thing Workshop, is there any reason to save them or should I just craft a bunch of stuff before the event ends ???
