Phase 7 of Turkey Day is now active…as you may have seen when you finished the first part of the Thanksgiving Questline this pops up:
And well…today is Saturday November 29th…so what’s in store today?
In addition to the Gil deal…which is still going on….
Homer gets things started today… with something to build (it will be placed in your inventory for free)
Followed by a 16hr quest for Krusty.
For those that don’t like to know I’ll post the details of what today’s prize is below the fold….

Today’s prize is….
The Stomach Staple Center!
This building is 6×9 in size, earns $120, 12xp/6hrs and is an instant build!
Homer will prompt you to build this. At that point it can be found in your inventory & again it’s an instant build. Once built Krusty will have a 16hr task to use the Staple Center.
And that’s it for today!
Remember…there’s 1 task released each day. Some task award a “reward-a-roony” while others are just tasks. So far no prizes have been awarded, but stay tuned tomorrow to see what’s in store for us then!

I never triggered the Center. All tasks are done. I even uninstalled-reinstalled and nothing. Any advice?
Ok, never mind. Went back to the game and it triggered. Not sure what the deal was, but it’s fixed.
I never got the Stomach Staple Center. All tasks are done, but it never triggered. I’ve force-stopped the game, even uninstalled-reinstalled: nothing. Any suggestions?
Homer has finished hating Gil so Krusty is now booked in for his procedures at the Stomach Staple Centre 🙂
Homer finished hating Gil for the second time (24 hr task) and then the Stomach Centre quest was triggered. All fine and good, but nothing new has started in the Hating Gil Questline. Should there be some dialogue or a new step in that one? Any idea how to trigger it? I tried shutting down the game and reopening, but no change.
That was it for now.
I’m enjoying the slow pace of the Thanksgiving event. I still need time to recuperate from the last two!
It’s actually nice to get a free insta-build building. The Gil/rebate thing though? Ugh. I agree with Homer on the subject.
Making fun of rebates is funny and I don’t that it is the way the Gil deal is being worked.

I wish they would open up more boardwalk pieces…I’ve been maxed out for about 6 months….no reason to buy all the water if I can’t use it

Gil should add the cool brown house. It was not offered in any of the other updates.

I had already started Homer on his 24 hour task of hating Gil even more, so my free cosmetic surgery building didn’t trigger! Will I miss out? Homer won’t be done until tomorrow morning.

Homer won’t complete his 24 hour task hating Gil even more until after midnight. Will the building still be available tomorrow or is the offer good for today only? I’m trying to determine if I need to use donuts to show things up.

why do they give contradicting tasks during events? homer is tied up but you need him to start a different task
Homer’s pulling the overtime in my Springfield! Besides the tough but time-consuming job of hating Gil, he’s needed for a binge at the Frying Dutchman and Krustyland is on hold until he cleans things up.
I am wondering if I’ll ever get to build King Toot’s – I’ve kept a hole next to Moe’s since way back, but have yet to be prompted to start the “We don’t sell myPods” quest. I even got hosed on the “Two Minutes of Hate” episode tie-in: step 1 – build King Toot’s (OK) – to build King Toot’s you need to complete We Don’t Sell myPods Pt. 2 (GRRRRRRR).
The KrustyLand task should be fairly short (six seconds maybe) — check to see before you tie him up with a long task.
It can be rough trying to catch up your mainline tasks while working an event at the same time. Remember this: The mainline tasks will always be there while the events will eventually go away, so prioritize wisely! 🙂
Homer won’t be done hating Gil until tomorrow… will that be an issue? It’s weird that it didn’t trigger this quest for me, I sent him early this morning on the 24h task.

Check out the turbo tappin for it. Make sure you’ve completed all the tasks before it, and the right characters are free

My task didn’t start. Homer started a hate Gil again quest this morning. Do I need to rush this quest to get the free building? I don’t want to miss the free building because so much of this event is donut based.
No you should be ok once Homer is free.
Did anyone else notice that Homer Barbarian can “Hate Him even more”? Did other costumes do this?
I was moving stuff around today to make room for the Staple Center and I while I was moving around my hidden decorations, I came upon the perfect combo! I’ve now “hidden” my Donut Tortue Device behind the Stomach Stole Center, but leaving the donuts portion of it peeking out, for the irony of it! 😜

DRATS I have Homer on hate Gil part 2, my fault should have known better (I’m not complaining :)) however I have a question he won’t finish till 11:30 pm, on the off chance that I’m sleeping lol will today’s deal carry over till tomorrow or is it a one day only offer?

Very disappoint with the black Friday. Thanksgiving theme. I know you’re running a business and need to make a profit but you had nothing for this loyal player of about 2 years. Last 4 or 5 month i was seeing great improvement but this was a let down.
Since nobody else spoke up, I’ll mention here that this website is not run by EA or anyone officially connected to the game. I’m assuming that by “you” and “you’re” that you meant EA, and not our faithful team of A, B and W.
Question since there is one task released each day if you don’t get to the Task does it go away? I have Homer hating Gil for a 2nd time and 24 hours for me is tomorrow morning when the next task will kick in then

I realize this is a little picky, but in the screen capture, Sunday is not December 1. Plus I’ve heard something MEGA is coming on cyber Monday (December 1).

Homer has to be free. But you should be ok once he’s free..
Help! My Springfield was 5 stars (full), when i came back, it goed to 4 stars and Graffiti thing was 1 and half star. Help me it took me months 🙁
Buy some training walls and hide them around your town.
