Now for today’s Santa Daily Task.Ā Just tap on the Elf Tunnel itself to be taken to all available Tasks.
Or tap on the Santa Daily Tasks Shortcut Icon in the top right corner of your Springfield. (It usually wiggles when a new task comes available/one is completed.
Remember, if you have a task “stuck” or can’t get the next Tunnel to open try to go to Krustyland/Neighbors and back. Or exit out of game then go back in again. (It won’t let you start the new task until the other one is complete, this means to make sure ALL the money and items are collected.)
If you are missing Elves, see post HERE. (Just try to go in n out of Krustyland then ring the Elf Bell first to see if the missing ones appear.)

We will have more information on him later, but he is a fully active Character with his own questline and tasks. He is voiced, but not really any phrases. More just noises.
Again, you have plenty of time for these tasks. The 24 hour timer starts as soon as you beginĀ the first task. You can still complete the tasksĀ past the 24 hour time, but you will NOT get the bonus 100 Gifts. So I suggest plan ahead to hit the timer BEFORE 24 hrs if you need those Extra Bonus 100 Gifts Each day.

I completed all Santa’s tasks, got the Fever Cabin & Nativity… No Zutroy. Did troubleshooting, contacted EA (no “call me” feature listed)… Waited 40 mins to chat, to be told I need to call on Monday & should’ve used the Call Me feature. The link they provided me in the chat doesn’t even go thru! Grrr… For anyone still missing the character, save your time Sunday. Just open a case & hope the call feature is listed on Mon as an option. OK, end of rant. Thx, you 3 for all your hard work & this forum. At least I can vent! Lol. Happy Holidays, everyone!

Ok so I’ve checked and found all of my tunnels open with check marks after completing tunnel 19. I tried going to Krustyland and coming back. I’ve tried going to a neighbors and going back to my Springfield. And I’ve closed out of the game and reopened it. I still have no Zutroy. WTF?!
Contact EA.
I had a chat with their support and they suggested to wait for 24 hours. They said it should fix itself after server update.
How many tasks are visual for Zutroy?
At least two. More details coming.
Hmmm.. I also finished tunnel 19, got fever cabin, but no zutroy! Waiting to chat with ea right now, will post what I find out:)

I just finished the last tunnel and didn’t get the elf, 100 gifts bonus or the new character Zutroy just the Fever Cabin in my inventory.

I didn’t get Zutroy either… He’s not in my Springfield, and not in my inventory. I tried the troubleshooting tips, but I’m still out of luck. š Is a character required to be free to unlock him? Please … I’m pretty desperate right now.
He popped up once all the Tunnels were cleared for me. Did you go through and double check them all? Check the task menu on the side to see if any are still sitting in there as “done”?
It cleared the Santa task ‘complete 19 elf tunnels’, I got a pop up with some money or XP for doing so, but no Zutroy. I have contacted EA meanwhile, they were nice but not helpful. They suggested basic troubleshooting, which didn’t help, then told me to post the problem on the forums, which is the nice way of saying ‘F*** off, you’re anoying’, then closed my case without doing anything about it. Not a happy tapper…

all tunnels opened, got the cabin and the elf … no Zutroy though …. have looked through tips and tricks and can’t find anything to unlock him ….. has made finishing all the tunnels a little disappointing lolz
Try some basic troubleshooting, if still no luck…Contact EA.
Have anyone gotten the ski lift?!?! A few of my friends have this Christmas ski lift in their towns and apparently it’s got something to do with Martin and the ice prince.

Does Fever Cabin actually do anything or is it just ornamental?

Do you need homer free to end the tunnel because i got everyone doing the tasks but it has not started counting downing in the task bar?
Is it counting down in the Tunnel at all? Like if you go to Krustyland and back?
I got the Nativity this morning and completed the first two parts of tunnel 19.
I am now doing the 16 hour thingy`s for the Nativity and just taking a self-inflicted break from the last bonus of the last tunnel… At the moment, I just don`t care about the 100 gift bags… Time to take a deep breath, pause and reflect, and recharge the mental and physical batteries before phase 2… But don`t worry my neighborinoes, I will be sending Feds your way… Home stretch, so pedal to the metal my friends… Merry Christmas everyone!
I have to say, considering that I only started playing the game the day after Christmas last year, I was pleasantly surprised at home many of the tunnel prizes I already had. The only tunnels I wanted both prizes were 14 and 18.
… I still really, really want the Skinner house lights and house boat lights, though, darn it.

Go back and make sure ALL the Tunnels are clear. Try the troubleshooting tips in this post too.

Try the tips in the post for glitches. Also go through all the Tunnels and make sure all are completely open.

What is “fever cabin”? Does this mean we get an actual building, or just decorations for a building I’ve never heard of and don’t have?

Looks like another one best started around noon or 1, second task around 4 or 5, and then leaving the 8-hour task for overnight.
i did not get the option of mr. Burns’ mansion decorations-do you think there will be another chance to get them?

Looks like only plenty of time if you have 9+ charecters who can make toys & don’t have them doing anything else.
Final tunnel started finally š Wasn’t that hard for a daily player to finish within the time limit.
I will be starting this Elf Tunnel Task in 30 minutes (then sleeping for 4 hours, then continue the next step, then sleep another 4, etc). I will give EA a B+ rating on Xmas Quests overrall (I’d have given an A rating except some of the Quest Prizes can’t be used by me for obvious reasons, or offered Quest Prizes for Xmas Decor I already have).
Have a jolly one fellow Tappers (can’t wait to place new House and interact with new Character) š
How long do we have to finish all the tunnels?
There is not a set specific, but I would try to get it done by the 22nd at least.

Do you think the number of elves we have will matter in Phase 2? I seem to be two elves short of what I should have, but I hit 14000 presents today and got the final prize. So all the present making elves are doing now is maybe helping me win some donuts. I don’t really think it is worth waiting for EA customer support unless being two elves short could cause me problems in Phase 2. (I’ve got 22 elves, but math tells me I should have 24). What do you think? Will number of elves matter when Phase 2 starts?
Do not know as we are not 100% sure on what is going to carry on to the next phase. All we can do is wait and see.
I think it will only matter in how many elf berries you collect, similar to the presents … more elves mean more elf berriesš

This is the first time I am up when the 3am email kicks in lol. I had my alarm set at 2:50 just to finish the last tunnel so I wouldn’t miss out on my bonus presents. I had 3 hours but didn’t want to risk it. I am going to start the last tunnel around 9am I have millhouse doing his thing now. Well going to get some shut eye….
