Just another reminder that there’s only a few hours left in the first 3 issues of the Superhero Event! So collect those last minute Freeze Rays, Pie Bombs or Carbon Rods & unlock what you can before time runs out!
When does time run out? 0800 GMT (4am EDT) Tuesday 3/24…so in just under 8hrs from now.
What happens when time runs out? This will be completely different than then start of Issues 2 and 3….previous issues will not carry over. So this means that once issue 4 starts, issues 1-3 and their prizes will be closed off. So be sure to earn those final Freeze Rays (or Carbon Rods/Pie Bombs) before time runs out!
Should you save Criminals/Felons? From what we can tell….EVERYTHING will disappear once Issue 4 starts. However, if you have nothing to lose by saving them…save them.
Will Crafting End? Yes. Crafting will end once Issue 4 starts…so collect what you’d like before time runs out!
What items will leave the store? Once Issue 4 starts the Tar Pits and the Fruit Bat Signal will leave the store. So if you’re thinking about picking up either of those do so before Issue 4 starts.
What happens with Issue 4? We’ll have to wait and see….

Oh, I love this event it has been by far the best, 5 stars. Question though if everything’s disappearing in a few hours are they going to take away any of the characters that they gave us? Thanks,

Thanks for the tip about crafting ending once Issue 4 starts. I just put 20 telephone booths in storage! 😉
I have 29 phone booths, so I am more than ready for issue 4. My money is on Radioactive Man, hopefully playable character and not just a wolfcastle outfit. Superheroes has been OK but the 3 new characters make it worth it. Quick question unrelated to the event: once I max out my FP, is the donut drop rate worth me waiting on buying donuts to get the premium content? I see all these level 50 towns and I’m like, I doubt all these people spent hundreds of dollars on their Springfield. So should I just wait a few months to max out my FP instead of paying for barney and duffman?
I am a freemium player and it is possible to get a few premium items with the donuts earned in the game. I am thrilled when I can ” buy” something with those hard earned donuts! I got a $50 iTunes gift card for Christmas and I finally can get a bunch of things I’ve been waiting for…..but I’m being very picky and using my donut stash sparingly. I enjoy the anticipation of saving up for something in the game.

I figured out that it’s a lot cheaper to speed your squad hq several times than to pay the amount you are short in the prize status window. Something to consider if your debating paying to get the last prizes.

Really? I couldve sworn it was a different theme lol. It just seemed to be more epic sounding today. (Playing silent is a must for me so as not to wake up the wifey haha)
I really think the music sounds different right now more dramatic.

I have collected 6 Apartments, 3 Lofts, 1 store front and 7 phone booths!! Will add an extra Apt or Loft and 7 phone booths!! Enjoyed this phase of game and am looking forward to the next phase at midnite-1 am!! Great job everybody for all the items u were able to get!!😄🌴
So, I just finished spending down all of my crafting currency as far as I could go, and I’m left with 5 lock-picks, 0 capes, 3 handcuffs, and……..1,043 telephones LOL!!

I am in about the same boat. I spent down all my crafting as much as I could, and finished with 5 lock-picks, 2 capes, 7 cuffs and 1,102 phones. And that is after crafting the Zenith City Times, 5 of the Apts, 2 Lofts, 2 Store Fronts, and 36 (!!) phone booths. I also ended with just over 700 extra Freeze Ray Guns. After I finished issue 3, I was able to get the donut bonus for 6000 freeze Ray Guns about every 18 – 20 hours, or about 7 times in 6-1/2 days.
I’m really hoping that Radioactiove Man is either one of the prizes in issue 4, or (if he is a donut buy) that he isn’t high-priced. I started the Super-Hero event with less than a dozen donuts, and have gotten up to 183 currently. I was saving up to get Duff Stadium before Opening Day of baseball season, but want to wait to make sure I don’t need the donuts to get Radioactive Man.
I’ve been tapping away for my husband’s game. Just texted him to remind him of the end of issue 3 happening soon. Thank you for telling me about the crafting prizes too. Another message I will pass along to him.
If you collect enough phone booths and line then up side by side, they look like porta-potties! Get as many as you can!
I think a set piece that all of the heroes can interact with against a final villain would be really cool (sort of like the nativity scene from Christmas).
I’m so happy that I got everything for issues 1-3. I only need one more pair of handcuffs and I will have crafted everything too! I’m super excited for issue 4! Can’t wait to wake up tomorrow and find out what we’re in for!

I have collected all the prizes and crafted one of each building this is a first for me I usually miss one prize from each section may craft some phone boxes the super heroes need somewhere to change
Same here, I started playing back in Halloween 2013, and this event plus the 2013 Christmas update aside, I haven’t been able to receive all the prizes. Missed almost the whole of Clash of clones, missed the last prizes of each part of Halloween 2014 and Christmas 2014.
Radioactive Man will return. After all, it’s a comic book and we never saw the body.
