Update 7pm EDT: If you’re just downloading both the App Store update and the Easter Update at the same time the Easter update will start up first. However, get past the initial dialogue with Ned & Homer first and then get past the Gil Dialogue and the Mystery Box questline should start up. However, now Mr. Burns MUST be free to trigger it. It will no longer auto start. So make sure Mr. B is free and you should see the ! to start it.
Update: It appears this update has pulled the ability to purchase the Beach House…it’s not listed in the store. It should be there. Will contact EA once I leave work to see what’s going on with it.
Also, a report from a lovely Tapper, AnothrAddict, Brandine’s quest with Valentine’s Day has been skipped over. Here’s their comment: “Heads up For those who didn’t complete the st paddys quest b/c of brandine….it skipped over her today and moved on to part 7. Yay I was waiting to end of event before I sped her birth (so weird to say) so now I can spend doughnuts on new mystery box and/or Easter stuff.” I have no way to verify this myself so if it’s working for you now please let us know.

Homer: Polynesian god? That’s nonsense! Easter is about a bunny that lays eggs and a guy who comes back to life. Hmm, that sounds pretty ridiculous too. Maybe this new god has something going. What’s his philosophy on church attendance?
Lisa: Um, Dad. Mom said you weren’t allowed to change religions again without consulting her.
Polynesian God: No church!
Homer: Woohoo!
Polynesian God: Just back breaking labor to create giant stone statues in my honor, which I will then grade and use to rank you.

I was going to buy no more than 5 of them. But with the 5th I got 30 donuts, so I decided to buy no more than 5 MORE of them. Again, with the 5th I got 30 donuts, so I bought 5 MORE. 🙂
Ended up with Blue Haired Lawyer, Tire Fire, Kearney, three _Ondas, two minnow ponds, two news vans, the I&S billboard, a bomb shelter and several Kalish stands. The only thing Not a bad haul for a net outlay of 30 Donuts.
I’ve also been buying Easter Fences and Pastel Colored Fences like crazy – not only can they be placed in Krustyland, but the Easter Fences look awesome near the Duff Brewery. At $100 and $75 each, respectively, they’re cheap as well!

Awesome – I didn’t realize that Johnny Fiestas would give Otto a 2-hour task…so happy! I love having more variety of task durations for my characters, especially when they get 2 or 3 hour tasks (assuming that they already have 1, 4, 8, and 12 hour tasks, which I consider to be the basic minimum…I get very frustrated when they don’t have all of those to begin with or, even worse, when there’s no way to get them, even by buying a premium building. I’m looking at you, Mindy, with your lack of a 4-hour task!)

I got the news van, 10 doughnuts twice, khlav Kalash stand, and the blue haired lawyer. I feel as if they are not gooing to give out anything different than those things so far, but I have saved up doughnuts, so why not..

I am seriously kicking myself for not starting this game sooner. Only been playing about 7 months, and my most coveted items have been Satan’s Anvil (Stonecutters), Bart Jr and Chirpy Boy (Easter 2014), and all things Whacking Day. No Satan’s Anvil in the Stonecutters’ return sale, no Bart Jr and Chirpy Boy in Easter’s return… If I hit the trifecta and can’t get the man-eating boa I see slinking around friends’ towns, I may have a slight aneurism.
And btw, this is NOT a complaint. TSTO is a fantastic game, EA has really done it well for us, and you Addicts know I LOVE this site and appreciate all the work you do to bring us (ACCURATE!!) info. This is simply a rant of frustration before my head explodes, vented to the only group of people who can understand my frustration, lol.

Oh, but I’m super stoked to see Mojo!!!! I didn’t even know he was in the game, and he’s one that was on my list of “oh-please-oh-please-oh-please, let this item appear at some point!!!” Bought him immediately, no hesitation, even for an NPC! 😀

I can confirm the St Patrick’s Day fix. After I updated last night Cletus announced that “it’s just ‘possums turned green from the river” even before Gil made his pitch and I was able to send Tom off to hide from Crazed animals overnight. Got my Stack of Beer this morning. (Though, obviously, can’t buy extras.)
Actually, before all that, I lucked out and was on my 5th day of daily taps and got a Lard Lad in my new Mystery Box. Then after Gil when Burns pitched the Mystery Box scheme and I got my freebie, I got another Lard Lad. Not a bad night at all! With all the luck others are having I might just pick up a few more even though I drained my doughnuts on the Bartman and Fruit-Bat-Man skins at the last minute…
I started playing last year during the Easter event, I loved zapping those bunnies! But I remember being so frustrated with not getting the prizes… My sister got Blocko and Banana Dictatorship and all I got were those easter ponds! I hated those Easter boxes so much! 😉 That being said, that was before I played as much as I do now so I wasn’t so crazy about collecting the eggs as I would be now. Too bad we have to shell out donuts for those things we missed last time. Oh well, C’est la vie!

Yes, the prices have gone up.
BUT: They sell for a lot now. I’m currently selling my lot of 100 blue houses for $54,000 each…yes, you read that correctly. 54k.
So after selling about 100 or so the selling price slowly got reduced each house I sold. But I made $5 million by selling 100 blue houses. So if you have an insane amount of houses, it’s worth it to sell them.
The fun part is if you bought a bunch of blue houses just before the update hit your device. *snickers* 🙂
Thank you sooo much for telling me this. I had 370 blue houses from when I used to house farm. I sold all but 5 and made 18 million dollars, which happens to be just enough money to buy my last two aspirationals (fortress of chocolitude and Krusty oil rig). You just saved me months worth of saving.

I feel stupid asking this, but I can’t find the air station anywhere, can you point me in the right direction? Just bought the Beach House, that was easy to find.
It should be right by the Beach House. However, there was a glitch yesterday that pulled all 3 out of the game. A patch late yesterday was supposed to but them back in, but I have no way of knowing if the Bart Cave and Air Fortress came back or not, since I have them. Best thing to do if you don’t see it is to contact EA and let them know what happened. Make sure you let them know it was supposed to remain until April 7th.
OK, when I click the “toolbox” icon (hammer & saw, lower right corner), The Store opens up. On the screen is Easter 2015, Easter Island God, and Beach House. If I scroll to the left, Bartman Cave and Radstation Air Fortress show up along with some other random items I don’t have as well.
Correction: Scroll to the right!
Found it! You can only see it in the main Decorations register. I was looking in the buildings and premium tabs.

Lisa has an Easter Task as well. Is there a quest line for Easter? I’m currently working on quests for Levels 35, 36, 37, & 38 and have eveything planned out for the next week up until building the Courthouse. If there are more quests coming for Easter it would be helpful to know so I can adjust my task schedule I have written out.
