Well I knew something would hit this week…and something is here Level 54!
Level 54 will start with Lisa…and you’ll get a task for Marge, which will be replaced by a task to build Shotkickers for $1,060,000 (24hr Build).
As always we’ll be back with more as we go through it…more details below the fold…
Note: Level 54 brings a new requirement for Righteousness. The requirement to maintain 5 stars increased by 12 points over Level 53…so if you see a dip in your rating, that’s why. We’ll cover all the conform-o-meter details in the breakdown post, for now just wanted to let you know you may see a Righteousness dip..
As mentioned above Lisa gets things going for Level 54…HOWEVER you may see a popup with Lenny appear as well. If you see this (I did), this is a task for the Black Box. (Black Box Black Out) This will have you send Lenny, Carl, Wiggum, Moe and Barney to drink at the Black Box. This is not part of Level 54, I believe it’s just EA’s way of showing you the characters that now have tasks at the Black Box…

Shotkickers- $1,060,000, 24hr build. 4×9 in size. This will add Ruth Powers to Springfield once built.
Seething Sisters- $340,000, 24hr Build. 5×8 in size. This will not appear in your store until AFTER you trigger To Catch a Cougar questline. This questline will not start until after you’ve triggered Part 4 of A Woman’s Work.
Decorations
Fort Adventure- $125,000. A decoration for Springfield, improves Vanity. 5×4 in size.
Mr. Powers Car- $170,000. Another car for Springfield..this time a freemium one! Improves Vanity.

Ruth Powers- Comes with Shotkickers

Powers House- 150 Donuts. 8×6 in size (instant build). Comes with Laura Powers.

I’m a bit confused. My C game gave me a black Box black out task. Am I missing something? My A & B game didn’t trigger it. Haven’t seen anyone else talking about it. My A & B game have 24 hour tasks for the characters required for black box task. Thanks
Did you see the top of this post below the page break? 😉 It mentions that task specifically lol Lenny starts it which is probably why you don’t see it in your A and B game. And because it’s on the post, that’s probably why no one’s really talking about it 🙂

Still no land…? Well I hope we get land with a big update that also brings sand/dirt into the game. Also what the crap… I can’t put Homers Ballet in Krustyland!?!? Come on EA!
So very happy to see Ruth. Was thinking this the other night when I saw her episode. Now, let’s get a Pretzel Wagon event and we will be all set.

Still no land…
My borders look expanded, but the area doesn’t seem to be purchasable?
No land yet… hopefully EA adds a strip soon but there’s no telling when or if it will happen.
I wish they’d add a strip to the East, so to speak. Seems to just expand south. At least since I’ve been playing (18 months)
An eastern strip would be nice. I still have land available (and have basically everything) but I see where some people might need it. If EA does add one though, it’ll be time for another redesign I fear.

Glad to see Dr Marvin Monroe and building down to half original price. I was gonna wait til it was even nearer base, but that seemed far enough to spend it.
One tile short of having all land and half way through level 9 of the money mountain too.
It doesn’t put me up or down, but glad for those that want it that 5 of the last 6 (freemium and premium) characters have been females, with Coach Krupt being over the top alpha enough for anyone missing men in those updates.
Guessing new event will come next week now and perhaps be a 4th of July based event. That or it as a mini update like Easter whilst superheroes was going on.
Really want to get Rex Banner. Love the look of the Nighthawks diner.

I think it’s Phil Hartmans characters I’d want to see most next. Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure.

Regarding the Conform-O-Meter: I noticed that my tree hugging rating dropped to 4.5 stars. So I’m guessing this new level hits that as well.
Thankfully (as usual) I had a whole mess of bonsai to bring it back up to 5 stars.

I don’t know if I’m just noticing this now, or if it came with the update, but did the dollar signs and cash registers above the buildings always used to bounce up and down??

Nope. The $ signs, cash registers, etc, have always hovered up and down.
Does it bother anyone else, just a tiny bit, that the Powers’ house has a bit of grey fence on the side, but we have no grey fences, and therefore can’t match them up for decorative purposes? Or maybe I’m just a tad OCD? 😉
Fun update, though! And nice to have a Freemium female character, too. I loved the episode(s) she’s in! I’m definitely going to buy Laura. I hope she has a questline that involves Bart and Jimbo!
I’ve been officially playing for a year now! Huzzah! I’ve gotten pretty much everything that’s in the game that I’ve wanted. Although I’m still longing for the return of Kimiko… Oh, and the Falls and Guina Pig Rescue… And, and, and….
i want those falls too! it was before my time, though i have kumiko and the guinea pig rescue center.
Since everyone was saying they went to KL and it triggered the start of the level, i went to KL too. It worked, yay!!! Currently building the required building. Loving this glitch….thanks for heads up😊😊😊
I hadn’t even seen the other comments but didn’t want to spend donuts rushing Lisa so decided to wait, went to KL to collect the day’s cash and boom, it went through the opening speech and let me start the building. A nice glitch indeed.

First thing I did was check for more land. Alas. So I just bought the new stuff, moved some things around and finally made some room to cram it in.
I know this is an old complaint but for the love of God EA!!!!!! Why why why do they add hundreds of items and give is us nowhere to put it. Everytime there is an update with no land it brings my nerd rage to a seething boil!
Is it weird that I didn’t level up to level 54? I know I’ve leveled a few times over before this update.

Thanks! I did that (after pilfering Starbucks’ WiFi to download the update) and it worked! So I’ll get to start tomorrow afternoon.
I did the same thing but when I went to Krustyland the dialog triggered, so you might want to try that.
I was able to get Lisa and Marge to auto start their conversation by going over to Krustyland. Build Shot kickers quest will be waiting for you upon your return to New Springfield…
Also I really like the Seething Sisters, reminds me a lot of the Gas n Grub which was the only craftable I wanted that I didn’t get. And this version of it is purple! 💜
While all my fingers and toes are eternally crossed for Lindsay Naegle and Cookie Kwan (would love Belle and the Maison too) I am super excited and happy with this level. I was having a bad day and it hit at just the right moment.

Another level update another sheet of trees needed. Am I wrong all trees are the same tree hugging points? I get the hundred dollar ones. Half my town is freaking Forest, the other half house mine, with everything else wedged in sideways, can I get a more compact tree hugging solution?

What confuses me is why they put the plum trees in the “decoration” category instead of “nature.” I still can’t figure that one out.
I prefer to do a variety of trees all over since they add more visual interest to my town, plus in the fall, each kind of leafy tree turns different colors. And at Christmas, some of the pine trees are decorated, as well as the green hedges.
Time for a tree farm sale! Woot!

I have built a hedge wall around my town that I add to when my rating dips. So right now it does 2 full sides and part of a 3rd.
half your town is forest, are you kidding? haha bro you got the largest house farm i’ve seen in any neighboring town. maybe instead, try expanding that one tiny little strip of road in your town, unlock that interlocking jigsaw puzzle you created with all your buildings and actually try to make a functioning town. you’d be surprised how easy it is to fulfill the tree-hugging requirement when you build out your town naturally…..
Great stuff from a great episode. Last years 4TH of July, was it a 2 week event or a few days only? I know Giuseppe, Lincoln, Banner & Washington were released & re released but can’t recall how long it was. Gotta love the ballet.

I was almost to level 52, but after this update it pushed me into level 52 and left my 200,000+ xp that I already had. Happy glitch I guess. Has this happened to anyone else?
I leveled up to 51 when I entered the game.

Well I’m glad to see a lot of freenium items, but I’m still on level 52, almost to level 53 so this says me time and money. I spent over 2,000,000 and new land and decorations for my Springfield 😩

So glad I took a break from the money mountain in anticipation of a possible event…probably going to ignore the mountain for a long time. Also I as tempted to send characters on long tasks, but had a nagging feeling I should wait.
so glad i finished it! can’t ignore that constant reminder in my task bar, woulda hated to see it sit there forever. but enjoy it while it’s incomplete, cuz once you complete it that construction crane will disappear… sure would love for ea to make that a permanent item, or allow us to choose the state of the money mountain you want to display, like the radioactive man monument.
Plus, when you finish it, you get the great Monty Moneybags outfit, which earns 100% more for tasks and jobs..

He’s had the task, but it glitched out that only some people saw it and others didnt
I can’t see that task; I didn’t even know it existed! Or I forgot about it. I thought my only glitch was Jessica’s “heckle fat people” going back to grey and requiring a quest long after I finished her storyline (I’m actually glad about that one though, I wouldn’t want to send her on it!)
Wow. Another update and still no land expansion. I’m finished with TSTO for a while. Someone let me know when they add space for long-time premium players to build. How dense can EA be? They are constantly rolling out premium item money grabs but cant be bothered to expand the area?
They usually release land once a year. They released it last august and then another strip in January. I expect to see another strip towards the end of the year.
You can’t add too much land, as it would kill the loading time and run functionality of the game. It’s a common problem with all games. People want updates, so they get released. And then people want land. The problem is more land creates more restrictions for the game and increases loading/crashing issues.
maybe another krustyland-like expansion would be handy, but just the space (not special items or currency), so you could make it whatever district of springfiled you like, that might solve the loading problem?
Good point Alissa. Almost every post there are people commenting/complaining about Lack of Land – if only they had one place to express these feelings instead of every post. I understand it is a form of “peaceful” protest but you don’t hear me complaining about a Full Character Maggie needed in every post (oh wait, never mind) :p
point and counter point is good to have. I say folks should know the pros and cons and take a vote and end it democratically. So who is with me? You want full character Maggie right?!!! I mean, You want more Land or a slower and Glitchier game???
I know there will come a time where I’ll have to sacrifice earnings from design by selling off items or storing them but I figure that is just part of the Game instead of some sort of infinite second life.

Tot, you read my mind! I was just sitting here getting ready to post that I thought that, just as we have a separate page for “add me” requests, maybe we could have a separate page for people to complain about not having enough land. I understand that folks are frustrated and have some good reason to be, but the number of posts that we get about that here, under almost every conceivable thread, is disproportionate to pretty much any other single topic here. It would be one thing if this was an EA site, where maybe a landslide of complaints could make a difference in terms of whether EA might work hard to be able to release some more land, but complaining about it here ad nauseam isn’t productive.
I’m not saying that people shouldn’t come here to vent their frustrations about TSTO things – we’re all here to support one another through this silly little game – but having to wade through complaints about the same exact topic, day after day, week after week, month after month is tiresome. So I say set up a separate page for people to go and commiserate that and keep it out of the other pages (with the same kind of exceptions that “as me”s sometimes get, like if they’re directed to a particular person during a conversation, etc.).
lol we have that on Family Guy…problem is only a few listen. People will complain where they wanna complain unfortunately.
But you could enforce it just like you enforce the “as me” posts!

Ditto. This has been a problem for months. EA needs to get heads extracted from butts. Why bother offering all these new things WITHOUT new land to place them on??? I have so much stuff placed poorly because there is no space to build roads to place them logically & even more crap in storage. We need 2 strips of land just to get to where it ought to be, 3 if you want room to grow.

As nice as more land would be, I’ve been a premium player from the outset and have managed to place every item ever released. Sure some of it is tight, but I’ve never had to store a thing. My designs have been somewhat limited, but I’ve been able to build a few 3D decorations and I still love playing the game.

The problem I see that is people have to have everything in their Springfield out at one time. How many of the same houses do people need in their town? I seem to have plenty of room and I only own one of each house. It’s not EA’s fault you need more land it’s your fault because you probably have way too many of the same houses in your town.
I’m in favor of putting some stuff in storage. It makes everyone’s town unique because we won’t store the same things. My consumerism is at four stars and I don’t make money quite as fast, but I enjoy having room for rivers and trees. Most of my friends’ towns are a little slow to load and I imagine mine is too.
A couple of my neighbors are probably pushing the limits, but I don’ t see slow loading as much as a serious lag when trying to scan around to find buildings to tap. It is especially bad when they have few roads; all the characters are jammed up and that makes for serious lag and accidental taps.
