So I can cross Lance Murdock off my list of wish list characters – and Daredevil Bart and S. Gorge (wish it wasn’t premium but still happy I can give in some day)
Yet with each update without Maggie I get a little more annoyed and more so when the Freemium added character is a one hit wonder (though believe he may have had at least another cameo somewhere). I will only list my Top 5 (Multi- appearance wish list characters) – excluding the Phil Hartman character (just because others have brought it up).
1. full character Maggie (come on EA – do a Baby event and I’ll shut up about it)
2. Raphael (Sarcastic Guy)
3, and 4. Itchy and Scratchy
5. Mrs. Vanderbilt (“Why I Never!!”)
Now I know there are others that people frequently mention but I figure to stray a little from the pack and hope EA hear’s my Plee.
Itchy and Scratchy are available in Krustyland… Good enough for me.
About a year ago when TSTO Addicts did the contest to come up with the next level I started writing up something with Murdock and Springfield Gorge, but I was fairly busy (traveling) and never had a chance to finish it and submit it. I’m sure nobody cares, but that’s what I thought of when I saw the update ;-p
what’s the deal with murdock’s 12 hour task to make peace with God?
he just walks around sort of like Cecil and some of his tasks. no animation different from him just walking regularly. Anyone else have this issue? or does he do something for you?
Could be an animation issue. I’ll have to look more into it
He walks to religious institutions in Springfield. I had this same issue like 30 min ago when I noticed him just walking around. But when I followed him he ended up at the church, Buddhist temple, and kwiki mart (for Hinduism). Actually pretty funny. Kind of like Ricky bobbys “save me” line in talladega nights.
Seriously? 15 doughnuts doesn’t account for the 33 that lost. Heck, I even contacted EA and the live chatter said they’d find away to restore my doughnuts! Still lost 18! Thank you EA!!!

I lost 70 and when i contacted them the 2nd time they gave me 100 . 1st attempt they said wait on update. Just try again. Took maybe 10 minutes on the live chat system.
I’ve wondered what was happening with the game, I haven’t been able to log in since last night. Darn Bart screen was all that just popped up till now!
It’s nice of EA to give us a few donuts for all the problems .. Anything free is always a good thing!
Still getting the land error,,,It’s been 2 weeks now-I was hoping this update would have fixed it 🙁 EA hasn’t been much help either

So just Homer can use the gorge? Is this visual? And does anyone use the stunt pool?

Yes, Homer’s task at the Gorge is visable after you get through the questline for it and unlock it. Same with Lance at the Pool.
Can you use the gorge and does Bart ride the stunk bike?
Bart does stunts on his skateboard… through the questline you unlock a task for Homer to use the Gorge. He feels the air with his finger until the end of the task… then flies down it on the skateboard … and doesn’t make it. Lol.
Stunt bike so far looks to be just a decoration.
Is the task Homer has on the gorge permanent? And how long is it?

Now that I have enough donuts, It’s a shame we probably won’t get a Gil deal for a while, because we got one “deal” a few days ago :(, I was expecting Otto or Duffman.
Used all my donuts and Bought the gorge as i loved that episode as a kid. However, I’m only level 38 and Dare Devil bart didnt come with it. It says to follow the quest line to open up his outfit but nothing is happening? Anyone else with the same problem? Maybe I’m too low a level?
You just have to actually play the Questline. Is Bart free right now? or on a quest or task somewhere? Like at the LA Body Works?
Also… Skinner helps trigger it. Is Skinner free?

Does anyone ride the stunt bike (like the tricycle), or is it just a decoration (like most of the cars/trucks)?
Not that I have seen so far. Lance Murdock has his own that appears for his task.
This game is just going too fast. At one point, I was ahead of the new levels — I was able to do the “1,2,3 donuts” lottery. Then I fell behind. After a massive effort to catch up, I got the XP needed to unlock Level 55 the DAY it arrived.
Now, after playing every single day and having every single character occupied through all that time AND getting Triffids all the time AND continuing to go to KrustyLand just to get XP (and occasional cash) AND spending a lot of time on the Heights, I’m still a couple of days short of getting to Level 56.
So now we have a new level while some of us are still trying to get the past 70,000,000 in the Heights. Who has time for this?
So… you are saying you are not bored and have lots of options of things to do? Sounds good to me. 😉
I spent a lot of time on the heights at first. I’m taking it much slower at this point. I just send a few at a time to earn currency but the game became enjoyable again when I just chilled. It’s nice to not feel rushed or pressured. It may take me a year to get to a billion but that’s fine, I’m not planning on quitting anytime soon.
Is there a new house in the game? Yesterday I saw a building I didn’t recognize in “Other Springfield,” a little down and to the right of where you start.
What Level are you on? Other Springfield design changes as you move up Levels in the game. The last one was a jumbled mess and some interesting decorating.
With there being HUNDREDS of Buildings in the game in the last 3 years… can you be a bit more specific? Explain what you are seeing or provide us with a screenshot? 😉
I don’t have my phone with me but I was at level 55, so it was the highest-level OS. As I recall it was in a second row of houses (starting from the mountains) and was the second house from the left. I’ll try to post a screenshot later.
I will check the game and see what Building it could be. Hard without more details. There are a LOT of them right when you open the game. Lol 😉
I can tell you it does include the New Springfield Heights now. Is it the one next to the Crazy Cat Lady’s House? If so, that one is the Lovejoy’s House.

Oh man, I was just thinking how much I need Springfield Gorge to complete my town, but GEEZ… I’m freemium, no way I can save up that many donuts. Hell, I’m still trying to save up on all the under 100 donut characters. Oh well…

Immediately bought Springfield Gorge. It looks awesome but dang it is huge. Won’t be long now before I’m back to crying for more land. Actually once I get my multiples in the heights leveled up, I’ll just store them, I hate farming. In fact I just built a pink house. Didn’t realize I had sold my last one trying to make room before the last land expansion.
I would not do that, with their XP multiplying ability (for total of 50 buildings – 10x each kind you get 150% multiplyer for XP gained). WIth my 90% multiplyer, I now get 240% more XP from buildings and quests. Does not apply on cash payouts.
Oh I’m way past caring about in game money. I just hit two hundred million. And XP is nice but I still average 3 bonughts every other day from leveling up. I’m more into the design of my town and I really don’t care for multiple anything. In fact I have two Quik E Marts and it still bugs me
Ryan, how do you get to that level of money? I’m on level 56, and still need about 6 million to unlock the last squares of land, but I have everything else. Even if I hadn’t devorated my town exrensively, there’s no way I could have collected that much cash. What’s your multiplier on? Mine’s around 120%. I wonder if that makes the difference.
318.7% I’ve been playing since the last day of the legendary Whacking Day. Since then I believe at this point I have every premium item available since. And I play multiple times a day. Once I built everything it just started piling up. Personally I wish they’d come out with something for like $100,000,000 dollars to award us hardcore players. Money Mountain was fun but I kind of miss the challenge.

No quest for murdoch to ride a bike, pool very expensive, wish there was a roll back button as I regret buying the pool, :(:(

Thanks to our phenomenal moderators I have come to accept that out of respect to Phil Hartman, we may never see Troy McClure. Even if we did he most likely wouldn’t be voiced, and what would be the point without any of his classic catchphrases? I also read the TSTOAddicts blog about the Monorail, while I’m sure EA has it on their docket- it honestly sounds like a programming nightmare to make it work to player’s satisfaction. In other words, if you’re holding your breath for those two- exhale.

I think we’ll see Phil’s characters. They just want to space out the ones in high demand to hold people’s interest. And of course he won’t be voiced unless they charge like 900 doughnuts for him so they can pay for the rights.
Personally I wouldn’t mind never seeing a monorail. Sounds like a convoluted mess, a disaster just like the one in the show, or should I say episode? Aside from that one episode it isn’t really even part of Springfield.
By that logic, most thing on offer aren’t part of Springfield.
UGH! I can’t keep up!!!! There are so many new things and not enough time and space to arrange them nicely. My trigger finger has been itchin’ to nuke since Terwilligers but I haven’t had the time to do a complete overhaul. Guess my 2-1/2 hour travel time to OBX will be put to good use this weekend. Now I just have to remember not to start any important tasks…

Springfield Gorge! What an awesome addition! I need to wait until more land is offered. I can’t believe I’ve maxed out again. Is the Gorge a limited time offer? I’ll me adding Mt. Carl too once I get that land. Sure hope EA adds more to Heights on the next round.

Hi, I just hit level 53 this morning and have early access to Springfield Gorge. Do you think you will make a should I buy within the next week or so? Just wondering. I really want it and will likely buy it regardless but I like to be an informed buyer.

BTW, did anyone lose their Deluxe Condos? I had all 10 but stored some as it was crowding my town. All of a sudden they are missing now and I need to buy them again…
SRSLY! 2 donuts to level up, 15 donuts for glitches I didn’t experience, Springfield Gorge (Pleeaze tell me the bike and Bart are interactive with it and the sale is a done deal), Danger Pool and Bloodbath & Beyond. YESSS!!!! I wanted to wait til the TOH event to donut up but I don’t know if I can wait now.
Ya it’s been happening pretty much since the start of SH. I’ve stopped storing anything so now my SH is way over crowded. Sometimes when you store things they turn into other things as well, I had a level 1 valet that turned into a level 3 business center!
