Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..

Just what does Act 2 have in store for us? Let’s take a look…
First….if you don’t see content (questline) for Act 2 check to make sure you’ve completed the Act 1 Main questline. Details on that can be found on this post.
The switch from S’mores to Gummies will happen even if you didn’t finish the questline. But the next questline will NOT start unless you finish The Call of the Campfire from Act 1.
New Prize Currency for Act 2..
Gummies
You’ll earn Gummies similar to the same way you earned S’mores in Act 1, but with a few changes. You can earn Gummies…
-By tapping nightmares, which will still spawn from the Campfire the same way they did before. Each nightmare tapped earns you 1 Gummy.
-OR by sending kids to Roast S’mores as the Campfire. Yes…the action is still there, now it just pays out Gummies instead of S’mores. IMPORTANT NOTE: You’ll only get Gummies from the Campfire initially. Once you unlock Everscream Terrors (Springfield Horror questline, see details at the bottom of this post) you’ll only earn Nightmares from the Campfire. Nightmares will still earn you 1 gummy for each one tapped. But at this point the Gummy earning direct from tasks will be transferred to the adults.

SS from AFTER unlocking Everscream Terrors (Completing Springfield Horror Pt. 1):
-You can also earn Gummies via the Daily Prize Combo. So basically Login everyday and you’ll earn Gummies.
-They’ll also be awarded when you complete the MAIN questline, which is The Very Young Folk and The Springfield Horror questline. (Turbo Tappin’ will be up later)
-You will also be able to have Adults Gather at the Simpson House and through special Halloween themed facades for various buildings to earn even more Gummies. This will not unlock for you until you start Springfield Horror, details are towards the end of this post.
Formless Terrors
Yes, they’re still around for Act 2 and work exactly the same as they did in Act 1.
Shopkeeper’s Challenge with Hugo
Today’s (Tuesday) Shopkeeper Challenge is:
A LOT of you are getting confused because it says make S’mores..and s’mores are no longer available as a currency in the game. HOWEVER…this is simply telling you to have Hugo do the task of “making s’mores”, i.e. Roasting them at the campfire (since that task box says “send youngsters to make s’mores”). So simply do Hugo’s task there and it will clear this task for you.
I promise it’s that simple and it’ll work. Don’t over think this (or any other aspect of this game) it’ll just give you a headache…

IF you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT ONE PRIZES” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright by each one left at the point you left off at.

Act 1 Craftables are still around but they’ve added 5 new craftable items for Act 2. Both Act 1 and Act 2 craftables will remain for the ENTIRE event.

All of the items below leave our stores when Act 2 ends on November 3rd.
Halloween Party Wall- 20 Donuts. .10% bonus on all cash and XP
Light Up Elder God- 20 Donuts. 1% bonus on all cash and XP
Wavy-arm Elder G0d- 20 Donuts. .50% bonus on all cash and XP
Fairy Kodos- 40 Donuts. An outfit for Kodos. If you don’t already have Kodos you’ll have to craft first.
Everything above you’ll see without completing any of the new questline. However, once you complete some of the new questline that’ll trigger more Act 2 stuff to start. Completing The Very Young Folk Pt.1 will then trigger Homer to start Springfield Horror. After you complete the first part of Springfield Horror you’ll trigger more Act 2…
The following appears AFTER you complete Springfield Horror Pt. 1
Completing Part 1 will automatically turn the Simpson House into Everscream Terrors….
At this point you’ll now be able to send Adults to gather at the Simpson House. This takes 8hrs, but will earn more Gummies than the Campfire.
Here’s a list of who can go, at least initially:
Homer- Earns 24
Marge/Witch Marge- Marge Earns 24 Witch Marge Earns 36 (if you have Witch Marge it will automatically default to her)
Grampa- Earns 24
Luann- Earns 48
Kirk- Earns 24
To bring this option up, just tap on the Simpson House…AFTER you’ve completed Halloween of Horror Pt. 1.
At this point you’ll have to complete parts of Halloween of Horror to keep moving through The Very Young Folk questline. So if you don’t see the next part of one or the other trigger, try finishing the other pending questline first. I’ll explain it better on the Turbo Tappin’ post…
Once you reach The Springfield Horror Pt.3 you’ll have 3 new items added to the crafting Menu…
Moe’s Terror- 500
Kill-E-Mart- 500
Krusty Murder- 500
These are all facades for Moe’s, Kwik-E-Mart and Krusty Burger. Basically costumes for buildings.
Each of these buildings will unlock MORE tasks to earn Gummies for the Adults…
Moe’s Terror- Unlocks the Unwind with Wine Task for adults, this is a 2hr task. Here’s who can go and what they can earn:
WIllie- earns 6
Sea Captain- 6
Lenny- 6
Homer- 6
Carl- 6
Kill-E-Mart- Has an Adults only Have Fun with Cameras task. This task taaks 4hrs. Here’s a list of who can go and what they’ll earn:
Homer- 12
Cletus- 12
Krusty- 12
Comic Book Guy- 12
Marge/Witch Marge- Marge Earns 12 / Witch Marge Earns 18 (if you have Witch Marge it will automatically default to her)
Krusty Murder- Has a task for Adults only to play with food, this task takes 1hr. Here’s a list of who can go:
Skinner- 3
Comic Book Guy- 3
Wiggum- 3
Quimby- 3
Homer- 3
These have some “interesting” graphics for Homer outside of the buildings….
The Sunken Temple will unlock in your store…for free..once you’ve triggered The Very Young Folk Pt. 5. (Placeable in water only)
At that point The Very Young Folk will end To be continued in Act 3….

Check your inventory just make sure it’s not there. Otherwise tap on the Simpsons house you should see the ability to change facades. It’ll look like it does in this post…

Anyone having issues with the shopkeepers challenges for 20 donuts. It says my first challenge is to squish 30 bunnies but when I squish them it doesn’t add to the total?

This may be a stupid question, or it might have already been answered, but I can’t seem to find the answer.
Upgrading the campfire seems to go on forever. Is there any use in continuing to upgrade (I’m at lv. 18), or can I focus on collecting brains? Since house farming has become impossible, it would be fun to buy a bunch of wailing walls. I’ve got plenty of other currency to craft items in act 3 (2000+ each), so don’t know if I should keep upgrading my campfire.
To me it’s a personal choice. Upgrade or not…your call. No extreme reason to keep upgrading…

Stuck on Springfield horror part 2 My Simpson house won’t change it won’t allow me to send adults to Simpson house I’ve tried logging out hard restart reinstall nothing helps…. Please help..!!!

Poor you. It’s not photoshop, it’s just good old fashioned TSTO know-how. You first place it on squidport tiles. You then remove said squidport tiles. Voilá!
I think it’s one of the last things we can do that with still, unlike with roads and cars and pavement and certain “green” builidings.

It is so unfair that Hugo is needed to complete Shopkeeper’s Challenge Day 2 as he is so prohibitively expensive and I am still struggling to get enough brains and bones to crraft him :-(.
2 years playing, this has been my favorite event so far! I didn’t get the portal from act one yet I feel like act 2&3 are going to be a cake walk. I enjoy the ease of collecting gummies with the jobs, although I wish it was as easy for act 1 with smores’… (Darn portal…) . I finished act 2 dialog and missions way quicker than I thought. Waiting for act 3 now!!!
Is there a minimum number of krusty burgers needed to place the krusty murder facade? I had just one, I then built another. But still, when i try to place the facade it says “you must build krusty burger before you can purchase this facade.” Any Ideas?
Try selling both and rebuy it.

thanks for the suggestion. I figured out another fix. I started to build another krusty burger (12 hour build time). for no particular reason i went back and tapped on the task “Adults only to play with food” and it takes me to the store. So i purchased yet another krusty burger. This time it only had a 3 hour build time and this KB did accept the facade.

Kodos for free was a great touch! Glad I chose not to spend donuts on him in the past! Was really happy to get this to complement Kang.
I am a little late to the game but anyways I am noticing I may tap on many skeletons, snakes etc and the number count for nightmares goes up extremely slow. It’s like it’s not giving me credit for tapping them. What am u doing incorrectly? I’m only on level 2 campfire and it seems like it’s taking an eternity to upgrade when I read others are at level 90 etc. thank you.
Try hard closing and restarting your game.
Make sure you are in the right nightmare. Only one of the four count at any given time.
It’s zombies OR snakes OR…
Although there seems to be an issue with how it registers nightmares. I’ve been tapping only zombies but I’m somehow upgrading past the snakes, rabbits, and skeleton tasks too. And I’m fairly sure I’m not tapping enough from friends to upgrade once a day.
Consider yourself lucky…. My brother has the same glitch, his campfire still upgrades despite only setting zombies (for those wailing walls). Unfortunately i haven’t experienced that glitch, stopped on level 36 to to start churning out zombies, and I’m still there days later. Only thing is that he keeps getting bramble walls as a prize every time it upgrades, but hey at least it’s not sheds!
That would be fine with me…bramble walls are the only campfire prize I still might want!
I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, so apologies if not. Ever since the start of this event, I’ve been plagued with screen lagging. It’s particularly bad when the camp fire starts to explode (after a story is finished), but it’s bad most of the time. It makes it very difficult to catch the formless terrors and is seems to be getting worse. Has anyone else had this issue with this event?? Thanks
It comes and goes for most people. Has to do with the memory drain from the game and your device itself.

The more you can put other characters on inside tasks the better.
And consider leaving them there if you aren’t grinding for XP or money. I’ll tap just the thumbs associated with the event and ignore the rest.
I’m annoyed because I was about 100 smores away from donut lady legs and now all my smores are gone and I have to pay donuts to get her. There should have been a warning or something. Not fair.
There was a warning. That timer at the bottom that says Act 1 ends….
But not that the smores would go away… mmm I’m new to this game so not familiar with events and such. Oh well.
Is any one else having this issue? I can’t use the Kill-e-mart facade. it’s in my inventory but I keep getting error message that I need to place Kwik-e-mart first. I’ve tried to store and re-place it, logged back out and in.. Going to reinstall and see if that works

When the adults do the new tasks in front of the horror houses you cannot see it well, it’s blurred as if it was censored. You can only see their faces but the body is blurred, kind of a colored cloud. Does it happen to anyone else?
No, just you. You should take your phone and throw it against the wall a few times see if that fixes it. 😉 Just kidding! Don’t actually do that. It’s part of the game, for EVERYONE. It’s blurred because the joke is that the adults are doing “adult” things…
I don’t know how it doesn’t seem done totally on purpose. But, I love this person’s innocence. That…or they’re a total perv and want to see the naughty bits. All, I can say is: internet. 😉

I can’t speak on what he was hoping for, but perhaps the expectation was to see luann in her squirrel costume, bent over with tail up, in the risqué pose she displays on the help splash screen. I also wonder if ea wised up after trying to sell the captain bob skin for 100 donuts, when people could just see him wearing it on the opera stage for free instead.

Naked, adult Springfieldians, this is the topic. 😛 It’s a bit funny. I don’t see the offense to people. Even The Sims, another T-rated game, has these kinds of images…plus actual sex (under the covers). Does this game? So, yeah, stick that in your… pipe and smoke it.
But, if it makes you feel better…they’re clothed underneath. I can see Homer’s sleeve when he “whoo-hoo”s with his arms. They’re painted yellow flesh tones, but they’re there. Happy now?
My Witch Marge is earning the same amount of gummies as the other characters. I’ve done the task twice now, and it still says the payout is 24 gummies, not 36. Are you sure that Witch Marge’s pay out is supposed to be different?
Just verified in my Simpson house that it says the payout is supposed to be 36.
I have to say I am INSANELY happy to have Kodos (really, it’s almost disturbing). I’ve been playing almost a year and I’ve had Kang for a while and have been practically drooling over the thought of spending donuts to get her (and I’m stingy with my pastries). But I didn’t have to!!

You guys are lucky! I started playing during the THOH ’13 event, and Kodos was 150 DONUTS!!! I waited and grinded and scrimped and saved my donuts a WHOLE YEAR before finally acquiring her! And now she’s only a measly few crafting items??!!! Just doesn’t seem right, but hey, enjoy Kodos all the same! I’d save up another 150, as Kang and Kodos are two of my most beloved characters! In the end, it makes you second guess on what you should spend donuts on after all… like all those who spent the 50 or 60 on wailing walls…
If it helps, just think they can’t make her dress like a hippie and ‘Act Harmless’. You’d need a crashed UFO for something like that. Plus they’ll miss the opportunity to shoot her down with a ray gun! Granted it was a cheap thrill I experienced 2 years ago but my life is pretty boring so I hold onto it.
Another site says the talking Krusty doll would be available October 20-27 when act 2 started for 60 donuts and I still haven’t seen it in my store yet and I don’t see it on the list of available items above. Do you guys think it will become available or not? Thanks btw for the tremendous amount of work that you do, it’s greatly appreciated. All the info and advice from you all on here is a big help with trying to manage all the different aspects of the game especially when events are going on.

DOuble check your bonus before and after placing it. I just checked mine and it raised mine.

I am loving the facades, sadly I had bought a wailing wall shortly before, the facades became available, so I am still getting enough brains for the Krusty Murder, but that’s alright.
Loving the facades. I hope more become available in act 3. The sunken temple also looks awesome and I am glad it’s a water item. (I never understood why the Billionaire’s retreat/haven wasn’t for water. I thought for sure it was going to be an island.) Land is always at a premium.

No. It’s not a costume for her. It’s just part of her animation and it’s blurred out. So yes if you buy her she’ll do that animation at the Simpsons House. But no it’s not a costume for her.
