Happy Thanksgiving! EA is marking the holiday in our games with FREE donuts! And who doesn’t love free donuts? In addition the Thanksgiving balloons have made a return to our stores. Here’s a quick rundown of it all….
First the sweet stuff…FREE donuts!

Homer: They’re going to raise the minimum wage at the plant. Which means your 12 donuts aren’t worth as much to me anymore. How about that climate change? We need to have a stockpile of donuts to keep us warm!

Returning from Thanksgiving 2012, 2013 & 2014…the Thanksgiving Parade Balloons! They’ve made their way back to our stores..some are freemium and some are premium. Here’s a quick breakdown on what’s being offered…
Rusty the Clown Balloon- $5,400
Blinky Balloon- $16,500
Santa’s Little Helper Balloon- $30,000
Stampy Balloon- 40 Donuts
Grumple Balloon- 25 Donuts
Snowball II Balloon- 15 Donuts

I read the comments, and I was about to spend 18/20 of my donuts on mystery boxes. Then someone mentioned Black Friday! Hope EA adds something cool for 20 donuts! 😊

I wonder if all the EA sales on Black Friday will be automated or whether extra staff will need to be on hand to deal with the inevitable problems that arise. Everyone is talking about not shopping to allow staff to celebrate the holidays, but are we making other staff members work for our little TSTO spending spree?

Nevermind! They were hiding at the beginning of the Thanksgiving menu. I didn’t get a New! Bubble over anything so I didn’t check too thoroughly 🤗
1. The Grumple balloon is a better deal than the Jet Engine Bike, which is best regular offer for bonus%. So if you did not get enough Wailing Walls, this is a chance to rectify the situation. Buying 2400 donuts at a time. it will cost 52.08 USD to buy a 100% bonus as opposed to 80 USD at the standard 40 donuts for 2% rate.
Probably should stop waiting for pumpkin patches, maybe next year…
I bought Snowball II and the cash ones right away and am waiting a bit on Grumple and Stampy (would get Stampy in a heartbeat since elephants are my favorite animal, but I don’t like Bart in his mouth, funny moment in the episode but not what I want to see all the time).

The Grumple balloon is back! At 25 donuts for a 2% multiplier, it’s the best bang for the bonut. I bought 2 more.

Free donuts, thats 300 saved for black friday, working today as no thanksgiving holiday here in Scotland but having the family over tonight for dinner and celebrate thanksgiving, as am Scottish I may have a dram or two as well.

I lost my donuts! I logged on, received the donuts but got disconnected. When I went back in, I lost the donuts I received. 🙁 Any chance I can get them back?

Just got done with EA customer service and they were very helpful- my donuts aren’t restored as of yet, but the fella I chatted with assured me they would be. I assume it just takes a little while to process through. =)
The only balloon I’ve been hoping to see return is Itchy to go with the Scratchy balloon I got during my first Thanksgiving. I guess it’s never coming back to Springfield after the release of Krustyland 🙁
Itchy balloon has always been available in Krustyland… I haven’t seen it in normal Springfield though (I’m not saying it’s not there, just haven’t seen it there)
Thanksgiving 2013 had an Itchy balloon for donuts and a Scratchy balloon for cash, placeable in Springfield. I bought Scratchy but not Itchy, as I’d only been playing a few months and had a lot to spend donuts on. Anyway, both balloons were then offered in Krustyland, and the Itchy Thanksgiving balloon has never returned to Springfield. Balloons also can’t travel between KL and SF for some reason. So, I have an Itchy & Scratchy store on my boardwalk with a Scratchy balloon, but no Itchy.

I have all the balloons except Stampy, so for sure I’m going to be buying him. I might pick up a couple extra ones, like the fish and the dog. I enjoy them the most, waving in the breeze.
Really hoping before Thanksgiving event ends we get the turkey as an npc, at least for those of us who don’t have it like myself. 🦃
Yeah! Free donuts! 100 would be nice! But 15 better than nothing. That makes 20 this week with the monorail donuts. I have already all the balloons I need so will pass on these. The balloon decorations are pretty neat, i purchased all of them right away. The 15 free donuts paid for the Snowball II Balloon. I hope there is a surprise sale soon.
