So 2 days ago I hit max level, now all I need to do is actually complete the Quests for level 46ish and up and I am all caught up. So really not close at all.
I am still 7000 chips away for getting the 4th prize in the event Britannia Casino. I know I have a good 5 days but I am not sure it I am going to be able to get Lucius. Although if there is a character I have to miss, Lucius is kind of a take it or leave it character for me.
This could be considered minor spoilers for the event, but today I got a different animation for cheating on the slot machine. Not the one were you hit the machine to get the Barneys to come up. This one you basically just paste a Barney sticker on the machine and say you won. I never got that one before, thought it was pretty funny.
Has anyone gotten anything besides debris and hail ants sign from the rocket pad?
I think I’m just getting debris and Hail Ants signs, too. But Homer has discovered two donuts among the debris when he cleans it up. They seem far more donut-heavy than regular debris. So dump the space debris into a convenient spot and put Homer to work.
I wonder if the debris works in a LIFO or FIFO order? I already had some debris stored (want to keep some for any future decorating needs) and, since the rocket ship debris goes straight into inventory, I don’t know whether any debris that I take out to clean up for potential donuts is more likely to be land-purchase debris or rocket debris…
I just had Homer clean up all my rocket debris. I had approximately 45 pieces and got two donuts.
I got a nuclear missile thing. But mostly just hail ants signs!

Bit of a random question, but I’ve been wondering for a while. Does anyone know why the iOS App Store lists Norwegian three times in the available languages for TSTO? Are there three different variants of Norwegian?
There are definitely two versions of written Norwegian, depending on what region of Norway you are in. I believe there is less of a difference in the spoken langauge, but then most of the Scandinavian languages are fairly mutually intelligible to native speakers (of which I am not one)

I just got my first round of bonuts and they came in a very classy looking indigo box with gold ribbon, I don’t remember ever seeing that color combo before, very nice. Of course it took me 3 tries to get the box with 3 donuts. I was able to get them pretty fast after unlocking Lucius even though I’m not spending my tokens. With red chips so easy to earn and crafting currency so hard I wish they would let us use our excess chips to buy crafting currency or (even better) to buy crafting upgrades.

Never tried with the Blood Mobile, but usually it is a pavement block or blocks directly below the vehicle, then Road type block on each end

works better with larger vehicles as the vehicle is partially hidden around the wheels and edges. This was not my idea so credit to whoever did it first years ago 🙂
However, I’m afraid your neighbour has illegally hacked their game to achieve what is in your picture, you may occasionally see an ice-cream truck on road (and maybe the “Powers” car) these had a glitch when first released and if people don’t move them, they could still be on road, but not the vehicles in your neighbour’s town

There was a glitch a while back that it made it possible to put roads under certain vehicles, but they fixed it. As a result, I’ll never, ever move my ice cream truck!
I see, thanks for filling me in! Yeah I thought it was probably some kind of hack but they have nothing else bizarre going on so it must be a one off..
Doesn’t everybody else think that it’s insane that we still can’t put cars on the road? I mean is there some fundamental reason that makes it impossible? Doesn’t seem to be causing any problems for this guy and I know there have been glitches that allowed it before without any negative consequences. Also what’s the deal with the random building restrictions? Why can’t I put shotgun Pete’s on concrete or Victor’s Secret on my ornate pier?
Ok rant over.
Because the Characters and NPC are coded to “walk” around them. So it is almost more like a beacon for them. With all that coding, trying to also allow items to be coded to place on top of them… well in short… coding nightmare and lots of glitches. At least that is the easiest way to explain it. 🙂
That is why I ripped up the roads and placed down pavement instead. Cars can go on pavement and it still looks like a “road”. 😉
Thanks for the explanation, and the suggestion, I did the same thing in my “rural” area, maybe I should expand it to the rest of the town.
Two questions:
1) What have people gotten from the rocket launch pad? I’ve only gotten hail ants signs (with some debris initially, but not recently).
2) (probably more for the moderators) Any idea if the monorail that offers challenges for donuts will be back? I took a break from tapping and missed out on lifetime donut-earning opportunities! 🙁
1. I so far have always only ever been given debris and hail ant signs 🙁 (but I will be patient and I will be extra happy when I receive something else from my rocket) 🙂
2) Sorry, i’m not sure, I don’t have the (donut challenge for the Monorail) my game has a glitch during the Monorail time (i think something to do with having the monorail stations not joined together) so my game was frozen for the majority of the Monorail time and I missed out on a lot of track pieces as well as the ability to earn monorail donuts..
But on a positive, at the time, I did get free donuts as an apology from EA.

I got Hail Ants signs, Kang and Kodos topiary, debris (of course) and the Bombs or whatever they are (its 2am I’m tired lol)
1) I’ve also gotten a couple of topiaries.
2) The moderators don’t know any more about what EA is going to do in the future than anyone else (at least according to what they’ve said here many times). You’d have to ask EA that question (and, even if they knew the answer, they probably won’t tell you).
I got a Kang topiary way back at the beginning when you could still cheat by storing and relaunching, but since then it was all debris and a few hail ants signs until the day before yesterday when I got another Kang topiary.
To the people who say they get Kang/Kodos topiaries are you really getting Kodos topiaries or are they all Kangs?
I’ve gotten two or three of the same type…whether they’re all Kang or all Kodos, I couldn’t tell you. All those Rigellians look alike to me. (I know, I know…that’s a really racist statement to make… 😉 )
I’m sorry but EA customer service has got to be the most useless ever! Twice now I had to contact them, and both times nothing got resolved. Today, was going to do the chat option, said wait time 5 minutes. An hour later, still don’t have a representative answering, on a Tuesday afternoon no less. How busy are they during the middle of the day on a weekday? lol
Finally, said screw this, went for the call me option, all I got from the rep was, thank you for your concern, I will document your issue, if you want to voice your concern more, the forum is that way –>

Hey sorry I reposted my question a different way, I didn’t think it went through, my bad. So “the princess and the pea brain” is a level 43 quest line, not just unlocked once you hit level 43. Sometimes that can get confusing, so I got a ways to go before that unlocks, bummer. Thanx so much

Okay so I got a bit of an older question about the quest line “Princess and the pea brain”, maybe someone can help? I’m on level 44 and have completely finished the Krustyland upgrade…ie..I can trade tickets for cash. I placed the poochie and scratchy balloons but I can’t get the quest line for the princess to open. I am currently building Agnes’ house in Springfield, am I not far along enough in the main quest line, if so where do I need to be at and how do I open the princess quest

Okay bit of an older question, maybe someone can help me. I’m on level 44, not sure about quest level. I just started building Agnes house and am completely finished with the main Krustyland rebuild. I placed the two character balloons and have over 4000 tickets. How come the princess and the big wheel won’t open up? I can’t get the “princess and the peabrain” quest line to open up. Am I just not far enough along in the Springfield quests?
You need to finish character unlocks of previous levels first. You can’t move onto the next level in game play until you do the main build/character unlock of the previous level(s). Agnes is only level 29. You need to do that build then Levels 30-42 before you can start the level 43 questline.

Remeber when you get to bonuts to keep an eye on how many you need. Most times you’ll lose the extra if you go over. I need 80 to get to the bonuts.
A good tip that I promise you I will forget. I’m only basing this on every event I’ve played lol.
Hey everybody, thanks for all replies really appreciated them, more than you can imagine, I’ve decided to just give up on getting help with back. This is third so called back specialist I’ve been too, and in this friggin state they simply don’t care about you only money. They aren’t willing to help my back and I’m tired of banging my head against wall, too much stress! Been living with pain since July3rd, so have to go back to life and deal with the pain. I fell asleep doing neighbor visits last night. Now catching up on that. I got Lucious Sweet last night and am now well on my way to bonuts. Payday is Friday, so going to buy some donuts that will hopefully last a few months.
So happy to announce the grind is over!! Late last night I reached one billion real estate points and Springfield Heights is done! I’d like to thank the Academy, my husband for putting up with my face in my iPad for hours a day ( I love you sweetie), Bart, Moe, Snake, Nelson and Legs for working so hard to produce all those much needed yoga mats and the fine game makers at EA.

Upload it somewhere (Facebook/instagram/twitter works in this case, since it’s there quickly and built into the app) and copy the image url (image URL not link to site..in chrome it’s called Copy Image Address) and paste that in the comments here. It won’t link back to your facebook/twitter/instagram because it’s just the image link , not a link to your profile.

I also ended my grind in SH last night. I now have over 200 ‘items’ in each of the seven SH buildings. So now all characters are available to do with as I wish. I will periodically upgrade an Exclusive Resort I guess. But, not until after this event.

There is not indication of friend visits during this event. They tap gamblers nothing else, so there’s nothing to show they were there.

With the arrival last night of the limited edition platinum Scratch-R and some incredible fortune I am now topped up with more donuts than I’ve ever had at once. I immediately splurged on all the premium stuff from this event that I’d been wanting and, partly due to the extra chips I earned I was able to unlock Lucius and am already a good portion of the way to my first round of bonuts. I’ve decided to start hoarding my slot tokens so I’ll have a head start for act 2. Since I’m sitting on a pile of donuts anyway and will probably be able to get a few rounds of bonuts just from tapping gamblers and sending characters on casino tasks I think it makes sense to save my tokens. Only down side is it makes me a little nervous not knowing how much crafting currency I’ll have once I finally spend the tokens, whether it’ll be enough to upgrade to the next level(s).
BTW, the platinum Scratch-r costs $7.99 in the U.S. but if you use Amazon coins through the Amazon app store you get 120 back. In fact, they usually give some sort of rebate on all donut purchases.

Found them. Go to inventory and tap on miss springfield skin “that sounds wrong, but you know what I mean”, after that the point are awarded.
You have to go into your inventory and click on her hostess costume to receive the club cards
Make sure you go into your inventory and place her cat costume skin, once that quest starts up you should get the cards. I think.

Sometimes the daily play also awards a mystery prize. Not every 5 days, only sometimes. I got one too, 30 donuts.

If it helps, I got the box and it contained another Itchy and Scratchy billboard. Seems to be the same box we had before they pulled the daily rewards to replace them with the daily tasks.

anyone else feel like the railyard is deliberately giving more metal tasks, now that we have some of the same characters tied up at the casino? i swear, i didn’t have a single task last week that didn’t require metal for part or all of it, and because of that i barely finished (with 2 hours to spare). i even had to pull all my metal earning characters from the casino on the last day just to make it in time. now i’m staring at my railyard tasks, and once again it’s metal across the board. i’m not usually one to complain about this kinda thing, but talk about some bs…. may just say eff it, and forego the 5 donuts this week….
I had the exact same experience as you, tapebelt. Had to pull on my metal characters from the casino on Monday. And I started Tuesday with an overstocked railyard. Metal for every stinkin task, except for a couple.
Yes, yes, yes. Nearly all metal. I’m sure it’s an actual phenomenon and not just my perception.
By far the majority of last weeks tasks were metal. Also only made it by taking ‘people’ off casino tasks.
So far only about 50% of today’s tasks have been metal so have sent most back to the casino but will make them do a round of metal before bed… But it’s still early days so will probably have plenty more metal tasks ahead! Currently halfway to 3 tracks…
it seems that every week the majority of my tasks are for metal. I am constantly maxed out on plastic and glass. I wish they would expand the storage and maybe even add more characters for the monorail jobs

I’m getting tasks for either all metal or all glass. Either way, it makes for a sloooow grind this week.
In fairness, I’m also lucky to have Brandine from one of her returns last year, as well as Jesse Grass from his original offer. If I didn’t, I’d be bailing on the railyard during this event. It may come to that anyway, since we don’t know who will be needed for Acts 2 and 3, but for now, I’ll keep trying for bonuts. 🙂
