So something new rolled out this morning in our pocket-sized Springfields….4x payout on all Springfield Heights currency!
What does this mean? How does it work? Let’s take a look…
4x Rewards are only available until October 4th…
When you log into your game today you’ll see (or you already saw) this conversation popup:
And then the message above about Springfield Heights paying out FOUR TIMES the normal rate. So what does it mean?
Well it means that whatever the payout for anything that awarded Springfield Heights currency it’s now multiplied by FOUR…
For your Buildings (Furniture Shop, Coffee, Pharmaceuticals, etc..)…they’re all now paying out FOUR for Freemium and EIGHT for Premium (instead of 1 and 2).
For the Googolplex…it’s now paying out TWENTY for all movies, instead of 5. And as an added bonus, right now all movies are FREE to play! It appears that the free option on the Googolplex has been patched. This means you don’t need to spend in-game cash to earn the currency. Basically, EVERYONE that has the Googolplex should be utilizing it over the next few days to earn as much currency as they can! And remember, using the Googolplex is the only way you can add over your storage capacity of currency…in other words. Use the heck out of it!
Also mini games that pay our SH Currency, like the Insanity game or the Sci-Fighter game..are now paying out FOUR times the regular reward you may earn!
Basically this is a fantastic way to stock up on SH currency, max out those hideaways…and maybe finish SH if you haven’t already done so..
(oh and for those stuck on 2 billion Real Estate…that appears to be the max amount of Real Estate points you can earn, which is why you won’t see it increase)

I was planning on a Springfield Heights upgrade night now it’s going to be the whole weekend. Hoping to upgrade everything but need lots more SH land to place things. Never thought about buying the Ultra Luxury Yacht but now I’m going to buy both along with 2nd Luxury Yacht, a Lamborgotti, Helicoptor and jet ski’s, lots and lots of jet ski’s.
Loving this. SH came out, what, over a year ago? In all that time I never even broke $250M. Just so far today I more than doubled that and unlocked the Ziff mansion. Not sure if I’ll be able to finish it out because the old SH fatigue is starting to set in, but gonna give it a try.
Wow! Was finally able to buy all my SH land and water and now I’m building up inventory to upgrade buildings and bring me closer to getting the lake..wooo (yeah, excited, but not that excited to merit a wooo 😉 )
Got one movie out for free before the patch and wasn’t paying attention (D’OH!) when I started another movie and then realized it wasn’t free when my in game currency dropped…which I was building to buy the last water tiles to have all lamd and water purchased. Ah, well…back to accumulating the last 4 million needed to gobble up the last water tiles.
I overpassed the billion with around 1.125… I will use those days to stock up resources and maximize my real estate value upgrading the condos, if they do a SH part 3 anyone know if the new land parallel to the regular Springfield will be released? Cause there is no room for many building that have to go in SH at now
So I feel like a dufus (spelling?) / doofus? For not knowing that the Googleplex paid in currency for money currency. Cue: *Facepalm to forehead…..
Think they should just keep it 4x.. To compensate how terrible the Heights material system is.
My problem with the Heights are the times are too short.. I’m literally stuck on my phone waiting for 30secs.. 2min.. 8min.. Ect.. And then I see over 3/4 of my battery is gone.
Fix it.. So you can still do the small payouts.. And then break an up into 4 hour.. 6 hour.. Hell 24 hour.. I don’t care..
I will never stare at my phone for hours collecting fictitious and useless junk..

If 3/4 of your battery is gone after waiting 30 seconds or 2 minutes…….your battery is scrap ……. try turning down your screen brightness so it’s not as bright as the sun 🌅 🌞

Well I am glad you explained that……..most confusing it was.
Considering the description from the game states that SH buildings award 4x and the reality is that anything that awards SH currency is multiplied, the clarification is to be expected.
The minigames from Insanity Cauldron and the PolyVac, as well as the nonSH building Googolplex, also award 4x more.

I think they changed amount for sci Fi. I thought I got 40 once and lately I only get 16. Do like getting 20 pills though. Wish I could nab more turtles lol.
This will make it faster than 4 times the speed as well, because the bottleneck on yoga mats will disappear
I have $655 currently. Maxed all the modern mansions. What is the next best building to get me to 1B the quickest?
I have put off purchasing the Googleplex… Might have to change that 😕
I remain beyond maxed out on all my resources thanks to constant movie playing, so I guess this doesn’t do me a lot of good. Oh, well.
Concur. At the max based on grinding, well over the billion mark, but not spending $$$ on the ‘plex, since I don’t want anything more for SH.

This is exciting 🙂 I reached billionaire status some months back but this will really help me to finish off the rest of my buildings that aren’t fully upgraded. My husband is only at 300 million so this will help him a ton.
I’m glad they finally did something like this. I stopped working on my SH over a year ago because it was just too time consuming for little pay out. Next I hope they will change the way currency is earned. Having to use currency to earn currency is very counterproductive.
Just a quick tip. If your lattes aren’t maxed out and you have character 51 from the stone cutters. Be sure and send him on his 1 hour job. He can earn 60 lattes for you.
Think this could of been given to us a while back, i remember getting myself upto the 1B mark it really put me off to do more. I still have building’s that need maxed out but for me ill think ill give this time a miss. On another note it’ll definitely be handy for those who haven’t reached the 1B mark yet!

Like everyone else I am stoked about this. Just one teensy request, EA. Please give us a SH item requiring more than 5 PDAs. With the additions of Frink and a mini game from the SciFi event I suspect we all will be swimming in electronics very, very soon.

Yesss 🙂 I got BH ages ago but I have a few buildings that aren’t fully updated. HOORAY! I’m going to update everything and re-fill the currency because I have a feeling they’ll release more SH land soon. Although I wish it was for cash I don’t think it will :/
Oh man this is awesome, I was avoiding doing the S.H. because I’m not a fan of grinding but this totally makes it worth it to me. Thanks for the info Alissa.

This is madness, with the exception of trophs pills and those items to build tiles, everything is topping of so fast.
I have 225 of some items and I’m waiting for trophies to finish their cycle so I can start again and spend items needed for trophies (or pills or those other thingies)

Looks like they’ve updated so that the Googleplex is no longer free and back to the same costs as before.
Did the patch I just received remove the free play at the Googolplex?

My Googleplex is charging ingame cash now.. Wonder if that was what the mini update fixed. Can anyone confirm? Regardless I’m totally stoked to boost my SH and bonus % this weekend.

A mini update it was (about 5 mb from what I could tell) but I still had to remove about 300 mb from my device to download it (cleared my cache and uninstalled a couple of apps, as usual). I can’t believe EA hasn’t fixed this yet. 🙁

This excites me greatly.
I waited to restock after maximizing all my hidaways because I knew this was coming. Should be really quick. I was really hoping for some SH land though. My mountains are really cramped with 2 monorail tunnels and one road tunnel. Plus, it’s so sad to see all that unavailable land sitting there.
Why won’t they open it up?????
