So something new rolled out this morning in our pocket-sized Springfields….4x payout on all Springfield Heights currency!
What does this mean? How does it work? Let’s take a look…
4x Rewards are only available until October 4th…
When you log into your game today you’ll see (or you already saw) this conversation popup:
And then the message above about Springfield Heights paying out FOUR TIMES the normal rate. So what does it mean?
Well it means that whatever the payout for anything that awarded Springfield Heights currency it’s now multiplied by FOUR…
For your Buildings (Furniture Shop, Coffee, Pharmaceuticals, etc..)…they’re all now paying out FOUR for Freemium and EIGHT for Premium (instead of 1 and 2).
For the Googolplex…it’s now paying out TWENTY for all movies, instead of 5. And as an added bonus, right now all movies are FREE to play! It appears that the free option on the Googolplex has been patched. This means you don’t need to spend in-game cash to earn the currency. Basically, EVERYONE that has the Googolplex should be utilizing it over the next few days to earn as much currency as they can! And remember, using the Googolplex is the only way you can add over your storage capacity of currency…in other words. Use the heck out of it!
Also mini games that pay our SH Currency, like the Insanity game or the Sci-Fighter game..are now paying out FOUR times the regular reward you may earn!
Basically this is a fantastic way to stock up on SH currency, max out those hideaways…and maybe finish SH if you haven’t already done so..
(oh and for those stuck on 2 billion Real Estate…that appears to be the max amount of Real Estate points you can earn, which is why you won’t see it increase)

I feel like (and hope) that this is EAs way of saying goodbye to SH grinding. They most likely realized SO many people had stalled and basically given up so this was to push them to finish. I was at 170mil for the LONGEST time, now I’m at 605mil in 1 day!
If they do release a new wave I feel like it’s definitely not gonna be as grindy as the first one was. I also feel like there isn’t going to be another wave. Hopefully they just release a few items here and there (like the beach hideaway) and focus on Springfield itself.
I am SO thrilled to finally have an end in sight though!! I’m so sick of having all these SH tasks in my task bar LOL I’m down to 1 now 🙂
I feel the same way, but I fear they will continue to add to SH. Hopefully not, I could do without it. Although, the extra land is great to use as an ugly and multiple building dumping ground.

Ha. Pushing to get the billions? I haven’t even cracked 200 million yet! I was never up for the ‘grinding’ SH and thr monorail required. Now i grind the monorail for donuts but I’ve largely ignored SH since its inception. Now im doing a proper grind (typing this while i wait for my yoga mats to finish) to get rid of the many tasks in my log.
YAY!!!!! I’ve been sloooooooowly working on SH, with this I’ve unlocked all the job slots, maxed out one of each building (to clear up my task bar), and am working on buying all the land. Next goal is to buy as many buildings as possible before this ends. I hated SH, now I’m actually excited about it!
I am one of those who hasn’t finished my Springfield Heights yet. This bonus payout is a huge help to me! I got three beach hideaways and I am making big progress. To be honest, I look forward to storing a lot of the SH stuff soon and decorating for Halloween and Christmas. I am definitely not into cluttered SH farming, which is part of why I am so far behind. I wish EA would give us some national park wildlife preserves. And bring back the raccoon with the Christmas sweater and the synchronized reindeer.
Wish they had done this in conjunction with SH Heights part 3.
I’ve been slowly ploughing throughSH and got to 982 mil when this hit so easily got to a bil and almost bought the last bit of sea.
My plan was to turn sh into a Halloween and xmas land… Now I’m concerned there might be a SH 3 so should I put off my remodelling?
It’s honestly hard to say. This could have been to get people to a billion because so many weren’t there
Some of us didn’t think we’d ever get there…at least not until our children’s children took over our game for us!

So… After we reach 1 or 2 billion in SH we have a decision. We can store all of the buildings and then place several of the ones we want to make a nice SH, but miss out on something around 150% hidden bonuses… OR, We can put out all of the buildings that have hidden bonus and basically turn SH into a cluster packed garage storage area, but get something around 150% extra bonus… Or maybe there is something middle ground… At any rate, I find this an irritating decision. I am sure more land is coming soon but that will not help. I just don`t like 10 of anything that big packed together in my Springfield… What way are you going?
Personally almost all of mine are stored. I’ve got 1 business center out because it fits in my business Park area and 1 or 2 valet parking out because it fits in various areas.
The look of my town is more important to me than the hidden bonus.
The point of the game is to design Springfield as you like..
I’m with you on that one. I have a couple valets out too. And 1 level 1 condo in Burns mansion area. Every thing else gets stored as it reaches level 5 now. Unless you’re turning on the XP collider it would be a good idea to put them out again but other that I’d rather have a pretty Springfield than a cramped one!
It IS possible to have at least most of the %-paying buildings out AND have them nicely designed… I’m rather happy with most of what I’ve done there, except for towards the North, where I had to cram in a couple of business centers when I started farming. If I had even one more strip of land, I could probably make even that area nice!
One of the keys is not to feel the need to use all of the side buildings that come with the mansions, and to set the other buildings at various “looks” from within their skin options.
I have several odd sand ends I’ve used that that fit in well with my plan. My SH is really my Las Springfield with HUGE casino/hotel buildings ala Las Vegas. I was at 2.5 mil yesterday and am now at 6.5+ this evening with dedicated play even though I’m going through all my kitchen cupboards and Salvation Armying a ton of pretty great stuff that I no longer use. I’m getting frustrated once again (which I remember is why I quit) that you need SO many mats and pills to do anything yet mats are used to create.
Once this “non-event” is done, I’ll store anything I’m not done with and go back to a happily ever after Springfield again.
I took out a few mountains so now there’s not a lot of difference. I no longer consider myself to have a heights. My buildings are mixed all through my town.
I betcha this is because everyone is buying as many beach hideaways as possible and depleting their SH reserves to upgrade them all the way. Sounds to me like EA is ensuring everyone has maxed out SH currencies….for a forthcoming Heights expansion.
I’ve been thinking that EA will give us a SH update for nearly a year, and yet……
The Halloween event is coming up soon. So I doubt we’ll get a SH expansion for a while.

Maybe not right now or after Halloween of even this year, but you know it’s coming eventually; there’s too much blocked out land up in SH.
Your right about the land, but they could easily change that to in-game cash so people can use it. As for building’s i know the The Springfield Zoo is supposed to up there, but can’t be more than a handful left again. So no need to go through all that tapping just use the normal currency and let it be. Kitty i would do a petition but not sure on how to go about it for on here?
Making the land for in game cash instead of the SH resources is actually a good idea 😀 Springfield zoo would be amazing to have, I love animals. It would go nice with Moes petting zoo. I’m not sure either about the petition,(but if you think of some thing, I’m in) 😀 we can just hope there will not be a SH expansion at least not in the same grinding format. 🌸🐱😀

Even tho it still takes a lof of time and tapping, I guess it isn’t AS bad with the new higher payout. I was able to upgrade my SH buildings that I had in storage to the maximum, then I stored them again lol. Now I’m collecting the resources for SH decorations then just storing them. It has helped me work towards finally getting to 2 billion…😐 Then I will never think about SH again. 🌸⭐️🐱
My game just downloaded an update and the Googleplex is still paying out 20 of each item, but is no longer free. Will not use at those prices. At least I got one free movie in.
Does anyone know what the XP payout is when you receive Billionaire Haven? Paris, as a character has 25XP, but what about the Haven itself?
I’m so close now but am starting up the collider tomorrow so I’m wondering if I should wait or go ahead and become a billionaire now! Love the 4x bonus!
Can I say that Springfield Height is the worst thing ever? During the Wild West game, my A profile misfunctioned, & I wasn’t able to finish stage 1 of the Wild West (and I couldn’t do anything more with my Springfield Heights or the quest itself. I don’t know what caused the issue. Tech support said nothing was wrong. I missed out on the last 2 stages, and haven’t been able to touch my Springfield heights since). Like I said earlier, I give 2 donkey butts about Springfield Heighs! It sucks a cow teet! Everything went down hill after the Chosen One (the red robe guys [Templers?]), quest.
This is great for people who haven’t finished Springfield Heights. EA has made it a lot easier. I’ve been using the Google plex for a long time making ads to make ornate tiles without the low level grinding.

Loving this little bonus. Just today I was able to buy all land and majority of the buildings.
Im in love with this, it’d be sweet if the payout were 10x sonce SH is a tedious, tedious wreck, imo, but I can at least tolerate the roughly 50,000 yoga mats needed if I can earn at a 4x faster rate. Number one goal is to buy up all the land at least and maybe aim to get to 1bil, but I hope this isnt an indication they are going to expand SH.
I love this addition. I felt like I was playing so much and getting nowhere. Until today, I had just over 700M and in just a day I managed to get up to the 1B mark. I think this was a great way to get me motivated to reach billionaire haven and absolutely love that EA did this for the game. Hopefully if/when they come out with SH 3, it’s a little better.
What you said! I was in the same plodding boat, stuck at 700mil, and just now finished the Haven. In the next 2 days I should be able to get all of the land. Never thought I would see the day.
Is it normal to not be able to purchase SH buildings anymore? It’s been a very long time, they do not appear in the menu anymore, I have not maxed them out either I only have 2 each of the mansions and the parking garages, the only buildings I can still purchase are the exclusive resorts which I will max out now but its still gonna leave me wayyyy short, im still 50 million shy of even unlocking ziff mansion and the things I currently have are all fully upgraded.
You should be able to buy SH buildings if you are not at the maximum number. Are you sure you didn’t buy them when SH first started and place them in your inventory/storage box? You could try opening your inventory box, click the arrow next to the Simpsons house, then click the SH icon. It will show you how many buildings you have stored (on the left hand side of the building In an orange circle) at least then you will know if you are at the maximum. Hope that helps 😀 kitty 🐱
Same here. I’ve not had SH buildings to purchase in my store for a long time. I think it was before the wild west event. And I’m not maxed out either. Only the exclusive resorts.
They are a bit hidden. Click the tools icon to get to The Store. Then click the yellow right arrow next to the Buildings button. Then click the icon in the upper right (SH gate).
4x times payout… Great, this is honestly the way it should be. Hope they decide to keep it this way sometime later in the future.

I think this is a nice idea especially for a lot of players who don’t already have Lake Springfield or billionaire haven. I think another great idea would be the option to be able to selll or even just delete items from our storage box that we do not want. For example the completely upgraded spring field heights buildings and decorations, I have so many things in storage that I don’t want, I would be happy to just be able to delete them rather than “no deal you can’t sell this”
Think most player’s would like this, i know i myself have a ton of crap from over the year’s that i would love to get rid of!

Had they done X2 I would have been happy, had they done X3 i would have been ecstatic but X4 is nuts. I kind of feels like I could have gotten the whole Billionaire quest line done in a day if I just sat there and tapped. It probably isn’t true but it feels that way.
Now not that I am unhappy that they did this but I was at 940 Million before this all started. So it kind of feels like I did a lot hard work just to right before I get the the finish line they just decide “here we are just going to give it to you”. There is just something about it that make me feel a little cheated.
I was past the billion mark when this started. It feels like how I felt when they came out with Advanced D&D, which gave people all kinds of powers and such that we used to have to work to get in original D&D.

I just wanted to say that Number One also earns Latte’s at an increased rate. So instead of 15 latte’s for his 1 hour task we get 60.

So I’m grinding away again. I’m not sure that’s a good thing. I already have all of the hidden bonus, so upgrading is for pride only now. Don’t get me wrong. I’m glad that EA is giving people a chance for once. I know a lot of people out there have struggled to reach 1 billion SH points. I see two of my neighbors are now at 2 billion, but most of my neighbors are still below 1 billion. I wish EA had thought twice before designing the game play for SH. I don’t know anyone who enjoys the grind.

Oh wow…this is about time….managed to upgrade a few buildings, buy the rest of my land and actually got springfield lake. Awesome… they should keep it this way, the process is usually sooooo slooow that I get fedup with it.
Perfect timing. I was sick of all those icons floating over my buildings so I started upgrading everything. I have one private island at level 3 and one at 4. After that I’ll have all the land and all my buildings maxed out. At this point I hope to take a very, very, very long break from the heights.
I’m so happy bout this. I have no other tasks so have started upgrading everything I can now I can buy more and finally get billionaire heaven 😁😁😁 gone up 200,000,000 in half a day! So should get it soon 😀 and never use googolplex cuz too expensive so cool its free
I’d gotten Lake Springfield and stopped, but five Beach Hideaways got me back in the game. Now they’re all upgraded, I’ve gotten the Ziff Mansion, and almost all the available land. Not going to go for the Haven, or even try to get close – I like seeing my task list empty – but I definitely like my improved SH
I feel like the whole charging thing for the Googleplex was always kind of ridiculous, and even with the multiplier it’s a waste. But a free run of trophies this morning was nice.
Honestly I’m loving it. One of the bigger reasons I quit a time ago was that SH felt like a massive timesink to keep us busy while they were still fairly few and far between with events, what with each step forward feeling like it forced you two steps back thanks to certain SH currency requiring multiple lower currency to make. With it at 4x I actually feel like I’m making headway in the dang thing.
