So something new rolled out this morning in our pocket-sized Springfields….4x payout on all Springfield Heights currency!
What does this mean? How does it work? Let’s take a look…
4x Rewards are only available until October 4th…
When you log into your game today you’ll see (or you already saw) this conversation popup:
And then the message above about Springfield Heights paying out FOUR TIMES the normal rate. So what does it mean?
Well it means that whatever the payout for anything that awarded Springfield Heights currency it’s now multiplied by FOUR…
For your Buildings (Furniture Shop, Coffee, Pharmaceuticals, etc..)…they’re all now paying out FOUR for Freemium and EIGHT for Premium (instead of 1 and 2).
For the Googolplex…it’s now paying out TWENTY for all movies, instead of 5. And as an added bonus, right now all movies are FREE to play! It appears that the free option on the Googolplex has been patched. This means you don’t need to spend in-game cash to earn the currency. Basically, EVERYONE that has the Googolplex should be utilizing it over the next few days to earn as much currency as they can! And remember, using the Googolplex is the only way you can add over your storage capacity of currency…in other words. Use the heck out of it!
Also mini games that pay our SH Currency, like the Insanity game or the Sci-Fighter game..are now paying out FOUR times the regular reward you may earn!
Basically this is a fantastic way to stock up on SH currency, max out those hideaways…and maybe finish SH if you haven’t already done so..
(oh and for those stuck on 2 billion Real Estate…that appears to be the max amount of Real Estate points you can earn, which is why you won’t see it increase)
Remember…4x rewards ends October 4th

The 4x payout has stopped in my game today. Strange, it is not 4 October already.
This morning my resources reset ro the normal payouts although it is only Oct 3. Any know if EA is working on this fix?
Major prob. I am from Asia and my SH currency earned just switched back to normal earning rate without multiplier. Isn’t this supposed to end only on Oct 4? My local time now is 5pm on Oct 3 while US time is 4am on Oct 3. Can anyone pls help to ask or feedback to EA? Does anyone have the same issue? Losing precious time to earn currency. Without multiplier it will take me ages to reach a billion. I now have 700M.
Help, the 4x rewards are already gone in my game… allthough it’s still the third… anyone experiencing the same?
Augh. The 4x multiplier ended early, I think at 1AM Pacific on Monday 10/3, right as I was finishing a late Sunday night round of grinding up toward that recently-much-easier-to-see 1 Billion real estate mark. Only made it to about 850 Million, but that’s over triple what I had before this week.
Hope this was just an error and EA actually bring it back for a couple more days so I can get over that hump, unlock Paris Texas and be done with SH for good.
It’s only 09:45, 3rd October (UK) and the 4x multiplier has already ended! Anyone else experienced this?
I just played tsto a few minutes ago, and suddenly it doesn’t 4x rewards anymore. What happened?

Is this supposed to finish tomorrow? The rewards have gone back to normal in my game already 🙁
I’ve been diligently working to finish upgrading everything in SH since the rewards are now reasonable to earn but the 4x payout quit early on me! At 1:00 am PST on October 3, not Octover 4! Is anyone else seeing this? I hope they correct this and give us some more time. I was finally getting everything done!

My 4x rewards ended a day early. Anyone else have this happen? All other limited time prizes and items are still in the store, but all my SHA currency is back to normal payout

I am really disappointed that the x4 rate in Heights is already over… I mean, I live in France, it is October 3 in the morning here ! And the extra rate is already over… Is it the same for you?

My SH payouts returned to 1x at 3am EDT. What the what? I thought it was supposed to last until the 4th!

That damn time warp black hole is acting up again. Here it is before 3am on October 2nd (supposedly) and I am not getting my 4 times bonus for Springfield Heights grinding. My tablet must have fallen through the rip in space making it think it is October 4th already.
Now it reset to normal. not even until 04 october. Does Anyone has a same problem?
