Well that was fast….it’s Live!
And yes there’s snow in Springfield!
Currently Live on Android (looks like Android users got their wish) AND iOS AND Kindle. You may have to do a Tapped Out Search in the Store (and then tap on it for more info), to see the update. I did.
It’s also a MASSIVE update…remember every item in the game has to be reloaded to show it covered in show. So make sure you’re on WiFi and have some time…it goes up to 1227.2MB on my Android. It’s HUGE.
Starts off with some auto dialogue from Bart and Lisa. Followed by a 6s task for Lisa and 6s task for 5 Springfielders. This is followed by a task to place a free sign and a 6s task for Homer. And that’s followed by a 6s task for Cletus. Which is followed still by more 6s tasks. This time for Willie. Followed by a task to build Springfield Henge (Free), and a task to hand in an offering. Once you build (6s) Springfield Henge you’ll launch the Event Hub…
Back with more as I go through it. Ok guys more details below the fold (Note: I’m still updating this post as I go, so continue to check back and refresh this post until the titles says updated and complete It’s complete now). My apologies for it taking as long as it did. These late hitting updates kill me when it comes to pulling the info, then picking up the Tiny Addict and getting her ready for bed. Thanks for patiently understanding 🙂
And now for the info…and a disclaimer to those wanting to sit this one out…
First the disclaimer…I know this isn’t the Christmas Update many of us anticipated this year. It’s a little “off” for what we typically get this time of the year. And I know some of you have commented that this update would have been better suited for a THOH Update. I get it. Believe me I get it.
However, I would ask those of you already saying you’re not playing this one to give it a chance. The Simpsons are known for attacking anyone and everyone..in a humorous way that we all enjoy. This is just one of those moments. Heck in the first couple of lines of the dialogue Bart indicates to Lisa that he’s supposed to “Stone her to death” because she’s Buddhist. Not exactly PC culture…
So I would say to those of you upset about this update. Give it a chance. From what I can see in the files there are some funny twists and turns..and a few battles for Christianity to win out in this one. So give it a chance, it’s only day one. You never know you might really want a prize coming later one.
And the bright side? This is probably one of the shortest Winter Events (let’s face it this isn’t Christmas, although they call it XMAS 2016 in the files) we’ve ever seen. With only 2 Acts and it’s set to end before New Years (Spoiler there’s potentially some New Year items waiting as well…). So give it a chance, laugh at the dialogue (including Homer’s Bacon Fest…I know most of us can get on-board with that..mmm bacon) and remember this is a game. It’s a game about a show that picks on everyone and everything. So let’s see what the next 4 weeks bring…and then it’s onto the next thing!
Also it’s important to note that A LOT of this update is based on Sunday’s episode of The Simpsons. That’s where a lot of the premise for this update came from..so it’s not just EA. It does tie in with what the Simpsons will be doing on Sunday.
Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way…onto the finer details.
As always lets start with the stuff you get for free….in the first few parts of the event. As mentioned above the event kicks off, as per usual, with a series of 6s tasks for various characters. During that time you’ll earn two free items:
Pagan Winter Carnival Sign- Free, 1×7 in size
Springfield Henge- Free, 11×11 in size. Building this is what will get the event to trigger in your game.
A little later in the questline you’ll unlock the Lumber Mill, another free Building..
Lumber Mill- Free, 8×8 in size. 4hr Build This controls crafting.
Now let’s jump to what’s in the store…
So far it’s slim pickins for long time players that have pretty much everything. Only two new premium items are offered…and loads of returning stuff. Here’s what’s available:
New stuff..
Flander’s Frozen Car- 50 Donuts, Adds 2.25% bonus on all cash and XP
Old Tree Spirit- 100 Donuts. Adds 3% Bonus on all cash and XP. Earns 160

Returning stuff…
In addition to all of then items that returning last week during the Early Christmas…you have
Ling Bouvier- 110 Donuts, Full Character. Will help with the event. (she earns Currency). Should I Buy
Patches and Poor Violet- 100 Donuts. Like Sherri and Terri, two characters but act as one. Also help with the winter event (earn currency).
As some of you have noted this event is only two Acts. That’s it! Act 1 ends December 18th and Act 2 ends December 30th. So for those of you hoping they’d finish the event out BEFORE the New Year, you’ve got your wish. This is a short one!
Here’s a look at the currency for Act 1:
Antlers- Prize Currency. Collect Antlers to unlock the Act 1 prizes
Runestones- Crafting Currency. Collect Runestones to Craft the available prizes.
Catnip- Currency you earn by sending characters on tasks. Turn in Catnip at Springhenge to earn more Antlers/Runestones and other prizes.
Figurines- Just like Catnip, Figurines are a currency you earn by sending characters on tasks. Turn in Figurines at Springhenge to earn more Antlers/Runestones and other prizes.
Act 1 Prizes
Here are the prizes for Act 1…
Goat God Statute- 4,850 (This is a prize from the upcoming episode…)
Pile of Runestones- 11,350 . 100 stones, used for crafting
$5 Antler Rental- 22,750
New God Mr. Burns- 35,800 (Skin for Burns)
Goblet of Runestones- 42, 300. 250 Runestones, used for Crafting.
Cult Flying Saucer- 52, 050
The Parson- 68,350 Full character, leader of the Presbylutheran faith in Springfield
And yes for those wondering there IS a Bonus way to earn donuts after you’ve unlocked all of the prizes. For every 5,100 you collect after The Parson you’ll have your chance at 1, 2 or 3 donuts.
Crafting
Crafting takes place at the Lumber Mill. You’ll unlock the Mill for FREE once you’ve completed Logging In.
Once again you’ll have to level up to unlock more crafting prizes. And the items will be around for the entire event (all 23+ days of it). This time there’s only 10 Levels.

For Act 1 you’ll see Pagans pop up in Springfield. Tap them to earn Antlers AND Runestones.
For every Pagan you tap in YOUR Springfield you’ll earn 10 and 2 .
Currency Tasks
You’ll be able to complete 4hr tasks for Act 1 at Cletus’ Farm and Willie’s Shack. Each will earn you one of the currencies that you hand in at Spinghenge to earn more Antlers and Runestones. (Think Monorail Event/Weekly Tasks with Blueprints)

You’re collecting all that Catnip and Figurines to hand in at Springhenge. Handing in these items will earn you more Antlers, to unlock more prizes. Also, each day there will be a set number to hand in for that day, handing in that number will unlock a bonus prize for you.
So for Day 1 (day) complete 4 hand ins to unlock the Day 1 Bonus..more Runestones, for crafting.
As you can see when you have enough to hand in you’ll see a checkmark next to that list.
This is very much like the Monorail Event and Blueprint, etc, hand ins.
Once you’ve completed your hand ins for that days bonus, you’ll still be able to hand in items to collect more Antlers to unlock prizes….
BUT…just like the Monorail Event, there is a cap on the number of Antlers you can earn per day from Springhenge.
Gnome in Your Home
Like we’ve predicted that pesky little Gnome has come to life and it’s your job to tap on him to send him back to his box…
Tapping on the Gnome during the mini game (which I’ll breakdown in it’s own post), will earn you more currency. And upgrading the box will earn even more currency.
Every 4hr the Gnome will break out of his box and it’ll be up to you to find him. But don’t worry you’ll have a compass to guide you…
Just follow the direction of the Gnome Compass in the top right corner and it will lead you to the Gnome.
Once you find him tap on him until he disappears…
You’ll have 20 seconds (i think that’s what it said) to clear him from Springfield and earn bonus currency!
Neighbor Actions
Once you’ve unlocked the Gnome in Your Home in your Springfield you’ll be able to find him in a neighbors town. This will allow you to earn bonus currency!
However, you can only find him ONCE PER DAY via a neighbor’s town.
In addition to the Gnome in one neighbor’s town, you’ll be able to tap three Pagans in a neighbor’s town. 90 actions/day.
Each Pagan you tap in a neighbor’s town will earn you 5 and 2 . Neighbor actions, to tap Pagans, unlock during Pagan Paradise Pt. 2.

Thank you! I wouldn’t expect (nor demand) a Muslim to participate in an event that they felt mocked Islam, just as I wouldn’t be offended if a vegan refused to eat meat at a party where meat was served. A lot of the prizes are too similar to satanic symbols that many Christians find offensive or blasphemous. (many ie. Not ALL so please don’t start with “not every Christian has a problem with it” rhetoric). To each their own. I’m sitting this one out for religious reasons, and that’s my prerogative. It’s fine if people want to participate, but I don’t think anyone should be attacked for doing what they feel is right. I don’t care what your belief system is: Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Pagan, atheist, etc. Difference of opinion should be tolerated. Again, I know Christmas traditions have adopted a lot of pagan practices (sometimes that happens in hopes of coverting people from other religions), but even though they have “pagan symbols” it looks too close to satanic symbols for me to feel comfortable playing. I know we’re no longer really a “Christian” society, but this is still my personal belief. Merry Christmas! And to all playing, have fun, and please be respect. 🙂
We’ve had players say they were sitting out the hunting event because they don’t support hunting. Or get REALLY angry when Lunchlady Dora came into the game because of her tasks and the slaughterhouse
Really, Dora? How can you not love her grinding the gym mats, or digging through the horse parts? I mean, her “More testicles means more iron” line was one of the funniest moments of the show!

That’s fine. I respect that. Everyone is free to practice their beliefs regardless of whether or not people agree. No matter what the belief is, (as long as you’re not Westboro-Baptisty-“Church-like” about your beliefs, I’m ok with it. They’re more of a hate group than a church…. I’m sure the vegetarians and those who have a problem with lunch lady Dora sadly got backlash as well. :/ it’s unfortunate that we even have to have a post dedicated to the whole “please be respectful” speech that we give little children.

Hey did you notice that the Ice Queen Mr. Burns can collect antlers? Any other character that can collect antlers?
I really like this twist on the usual so christmassy winter updates. (Not that i wouldn’t enjoy the past ones with the full spirit!).
I have however no idea how you can be offended by it. It is all true, that many dates were put together by the roman emperors when they tried to unite their people. And all the tradition with cutting trees and mistletoes come from older religions. If anything this update can teach some of you about the history.
That is just my personal opinion 😉 cheers!
King Winter can also collect antlers. I suspect there are others. Perhaps we can collectively come up with a list.
I check with all the characters I have on my town which are over 100, yet I did not see any other character. Unless I have a character that someone else may have which is very possible.
IIRC, they also sometimes don’t show up unless you also go through each skin.

Tells me he’s out running around and I need to find him. When I click “do it” it just goes out of the box. Very strange, would prefer not to reinstall as it’s so big for this update.

Alissa, I was one of the people stating that I would sit this out and I wrote that before your disclaimer. Let me just take a moment here to respond to what you said. I am a fairly long time player and a VERY long time viewer of the Simpsons. I remember watching them when they were 1 minute ‘shorts’ on the Tracy Ullman show! I remember getting excited when Fox announced “The Simpsons Christmas Special” (which became the very first episode). While I stopped watching some time ago (IMO, they’re simply not as funny as they were and they (again, IMO) have become a bit too political). So I am familiar with (and generally enjoy) their humor. The game is a lot of fun, but in the past year it has started to wear on me. At first this was because I was maxed out on the highest level and updates where seemingly few and far between. I took a time-out and came back when I saw the mono-rail update. Wow! I had missed a lot! The game was fun again as I worked to catch up not just on the mono-rail but the whole Springfield Heights expansion that I missed. Soon, though, (and ironically), I started to grow weary of the constant updates. It was hard to catch up on SH when I needed those characters for the new event. So I guess I’ve been looking for a reason to take another little hiatus from the game. And when EA decided to do a pagan Christmas that just clinched the deal. As I said earlier, I’m not yelling or hating or even angry. Nor or my panties in a twist. I love the THOH and probably would have enjoyed a winter pagan event (in January/February when there’s nothing else really going on. But yes, as a devout Christian I am a bit offended at this event. That said, I don’t wish EA any ill will and I am glad for those who are enjoying this event. As has been said, it IS just a game. But being just a game means that I can come and go as I please. I’ve been too locked into doing EVERY event and a little break will do me good. I wish everyone else well and, hopefully, around the New Year I’ll hop back on. I hope my posts didn’t anger or offend anyone because that certainly wasn’t my intention. As far as being offended by a cartoon or game, I suppose that puts me inline for a little ribbing and I’m OK with that. Life is short. Spend time with people and things that you love (and hopefully love you back). So I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thank you for the post. Wow! I did not expect this creative twist EA! I expected Xmas and Hanukkah. Love this! Our pagan roots never get explored or even talked about. This is a funny way to do it. All of the themed decorations will look great in my forest area. Only two acts? Think they might have a separate January act like Maggie act last year? That was neat. Just wondering. I look forward to the show off this event.

Hi. Apologies if I missed this in the comments, but there seems to be a sliding scale on neighbour pagans. When I went through, I didn’t notice it at first, but after a few I wasn’t earning runes, and by the end I was only getting one antler per pagan. Based on earlier events my guess would be:
1st 30 pagans – 5 antlers, 2 runes
2nd 30 pagans – 3 antlers
3rd 30 pagans – 1 antler
I will try to remember to check this tomorrow. Hope it helps!

Today I could only get runes and/or antlers from 17 friends. That suggests we get a total of 50 or 51, not 90. Perhaps my SF is messed up, but I don’t think we get to visit 30 neighbors for antlers and runes. I’ll watch my numbers tomorrow and would be curious if you might see if your total event currency neighbors exceeds 17. Thanks. Oh, and I have plenty more than 17 neighbors, but none of the rest fed anything but $$$ and XP (not that I’m complaining!)
I agree that the number of neighbor pagans which give runes is quite limited.
EA has opened the bonuts valve a little bit more. I got five bonuts out of my 99 friends visits 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩

So it looks like your estimate of 51 taps across 17 neighbours was right, and it is different for this event. I didn’t see your comment until after I checked, by the way.

White Witch Burns and King Winter have tasks to earn extra antlers. Has anyone found anyone else or a building that’ll earn more?
I never sleep at night due to my heart failure which playing this game is about all I can do in bed, and a game that doesn’t provoke a seizure at that. I have CHF, Lupus, Seizure disorder…so waking up sick and in pain I decided to check on the latest y’all have. What a treat 😀 yeah maybe it’s silly for an adult to get so excited about things like this but this game seriously keeps me sane while in the hospital or bed ridden so in the spirit of Christmas I thought it was a good time to say thank you for running this blog for us addicts. We all play for different reasons, mine is nostalgia and it’s all I can do physically most days. I see y’all run a nice community here, so many articles to read. You offer so many tips which helped so much when I started doing events, you post towns of neighborhoods I’ll never have ( because of friend cap ) so I get to see so much cool creativity everywhere towns I’ll never visit. If it wasn’t for “should I spend my donuts” I would have regretted so many purchases lol. Y’all keeping updates, as to when an event will start… as silly as it sounds I can tell my hubby hey, play my account while I’m going to have surgery I don’t want to get behind lol. Yeah I sound a little nuts but little fun things like this help take focus off big scary things. Anyways, Happy Holidays to y’all for running such a helpful site. Y’all make the game a lot more fun. ☃️⭐️☃️

The people in here offer great support and you will find quite a few people that play to stay sane because they are suffering. Also can be lots of fun (most of time) jumping into conversations going on.

Well thank you! I really believe positive energy does work. My heart failure is caused by a rare deadly heart rhythm so they gave me a short timespan but I truly believe people that live beyond doctors expectations greatly owe that to positive attitude and laughter. So I really appreciate the positive thoughts. Everyone I’ve encountered so far has been nothing but kind and helpful. 😀 it’s nice to know others play as a way to stay sane too. I’ll add of course!
Doctors can be wrong, so happy you are staying positive! I’ve personally known several people that far exceed doctors expectations.
Alissa has created a very caring community that reaches all over the world. They have helped me through some tough times, so keep posting get to know some awesome people from all over the world. We are all different, but we have this silly game in common.
Isn’t crazy one game can bring so many different walks of life together? It’s kinda amazing. Reading her post about reminding people to be respectful about this whole pagan event I can tell she truly cares about the community she runs. It’s really refreshing to see! Yes they can be wrong plus because I’m so young with chf, and my heart rhythm is often called “sudden death syndrome” it’s rare to survive so young, people usually die suddenly in their 20s mine went undetected until I was almost 35. I survived four cardiac arrests in one night. So being even to my age is a miracle. I have a defibrillator and it records everything aside from being able to save my life. Because I am the rare 5 percent survived I agreed to be in the study so I owe it to others with this rare genetic heart rhythm. The longer I live, the more information they get from my heart, I’m the youngest person in the study with a survival rate of less than 5 years so my goal to is ruin their charts and stats by going past the 5 year rate, and being the oddball giving other survivors a chance from data collected from me. Ever year I live they learn to design a better defibrillator, so I promised myself when I needed a reason to push on I remember living isn’t just for me anymore but all those people that I can help by just being alive. My life had some purpose before, but now I think I really do see why I was born so unusual, with so much genetic abnormalities in my blood. It’s a burden but a blessing to be in a position to save others from so much pain I had to endure because this heart problem is so hard to catch plus a combination of so many different autoimmune illnesses I inherited from birth.
You certainly inspire… And perhaps your words can get some if the others here to appreciate one another, despite our differences. I for one am hoping you beat the odds by a factor of ten!

Yes it puts things into perspective for me, the only thing that really changed is making me more sensitive when I see people hurt each other, strangers or friends, family regardless. It hurts seeing humans act this way. I thought it was me but the doctor said it’s common with heart patients. That is a gift I do wish I could give to people is more sensitivity. Thank you though again and for this wonderful site!
Sorry if my comment sounded short! Like rude? Not actually short, I didn’t mean to sound like I knew better than others about sensitivity or on a soap box 📦. What I meant was nothing changed but my sensitivity as in I don’t see myself as inspiring because I really didn’t go through this great inner struggle or anything I just see myself as just doing what a normal person would do in this situation. So to me it’s just normal you know? It’s my normal life. If it wasn’t I suppose I wouldn’t be able to speak about it so causally and frankly. If I thought what I did was inspiring I’d get worried, well because I would hope any decent human would do what I’m doing in my shoes. Be selfish or help others like me, I didn’t survive my heart stopping 4 times just for me to throw it away. Who would think that, I thought at first I was unworthy of cheating death. With my defibrillator it’s a constant reminder of my promise. I don’t know about others but I feel it. It uploads nightly at 12:21 am on the dot. It feels like a being pushed off a tree. The feeling of air being kicked out with sensation of fear, sudden fast heart rate. It’s not the same for every person but mine is severe and every month my uploading time gets longer when information wirelessly uploads from my defibrillator to the doctors office daily wakes me up every night. Like a robot it’s on time, every family member knows that gasp and look on my face, knows the time without looking at the clock. Now I upload in the day at random, if they see something interesting one day they probably upload more the next day. Each day it’s different but I notice days I’m sicker the uploads are more often and longer. A reminder of my device and my promise. I’m not inspiring but thank you greatly. I think if everyone had a device connected to their hearts giving them a bit of a jolt every day at random times reminding them of a promise to themselves then I think more people would keep their promise like I do to myself. So I do what’s normal lol. As for sensitive, I meant that as, hm. How can I put it…being sick makes you dependent on people a lot. Nurses, or in a store if I can’t reach from a wheelchair and we’ll it makes you sensitive to humanity. I don’t think I know better but it really humbles you when you can’t even go to the bathroom alone at times. So the comments I see here lately about the Pagan event. It makes me sad I can’t just give someone the gift of just being more sensitive towards your fellow man especially now in this day and age. People are so quick to be angry, if they only sat and looked back, like reading the post to be respectful of one another and seeing the spoilers that there is traditional Christmas items coming. It could have saved some people from being angry if they had waited to see. Humanity can be so beautiful but it doesn’t take much to ruin it in people’s eyes. So that’s what I meant about wishing I could make people sensitive to each other, saying the words out loud before hitting the send button. Well that’s enough of my two cents. But thank you really, to me I’m just normal, well aside from the crazy monster ANA autoimmune antibodies and bad genetics lol you know what I mean. My early response wasn’t worthy of the kindness you expressed, I was kinda grouchy because it was medication time. >___<
I never saw a comment from you that was short or grouchy and this one just brought tears to my eyes (in a good way). You’re right that most people, myself included, often get annoyed over stupid, petty things, because we lack the kind of perspective that you seem to have in abundance. I wish that we could all get there without having to have a near-death experience.
We all get annoyed over stupid things, we’re human of course. I think what counts is how quickly we let go of those feelings and how we handle them. Feeling them though isn’t a bad thing, no one can help their feelings. I made you cry, Hmm :/ I’m sorry? Also I’m kinda not in a way, I’m glad my words moved you ❤️ I take seriously what I say, when I was younger I didn’t realize just how powerful words were, and now I see after I’m gone one of the things left will be my words. Whether it’s poems written on my blog, a letter left to my sister….or a comment on a blog words last. They last on paper, somewhere online or in someone’s memory so I honored my words moved you. Yes, perspective is a hard thing to fully get – sadly it requires radical change to acquire it I think. I’m not sure I’d be the person I am now without the suffering I went through so in a way I’m pretty lucky I got the chance to develop my character by being tested.

After diagnosing my NHL I went for being cured. My mother already had lost her husband and youngest son due to cancer. I told my oncologist to throw every cure he had to offer, because I didn’t want my mother to lose her other son (me). It is over eight years ago now and I’ve survived my mother (she almost reached the age of 93!) Still very happy 😊 to be alive.

Wow that’s an amazing story, over 8 years and also your mom to reach into her nineties! Truly astonishing what the human body can do when you have the will and drive, especially for family and loved ones. Thank you for sharing your story with me 🙂 It brought a smile to my face this morning.

My niece died at 13 due to what sounds like you have. She was same sweetest girl you could meet. We took her to a priest to talk and only questions she asked was he going to be ok, would he be doing her funeral, please and what was going to happen to her family. They said she wouldn’t live 2 years she beat them by 11 years!
What your doing is remarkable and I’m so proud and happy that there are truly good people like you still trying to help others while suffering yourself.
At such a young age odds are yes, it effects young people. I can’t imagine trying to fathom news like this at her age, for me it did take a mourning period and I’m an adult!. ( hence my blog of sad poems ) She truly sounds like an astounding person to handle this with such bravery at her age. So similar our stories, I didn’t have a priest but a nun see me before my surgery this year (which I’m getting ready for surgery again so I may not be around for a while after Monday afternoon) Anyways, hearing of her does make me happy and solidify my point. I know will power can work. My first year after cardiac arrest I was constantly hospitalized, I had seizures, starvation, CDIFF, infection, no potassium magnesium calcium in my body ( my stomach doesn’t absorb it ) ambulance calls from the doctors office, it looked really bad to were I’d be a week away from dying from infection or malnutrition but my body somehow hanged on because I wanted to live and regardless of the stats on first year survival rates I know I’m different. I’m me, I don’t fit into a chart, a graph, I’m not a statistic. I’m a wife, a daughter, a sister and I’m not here for me I’m here for them. I’m here for the study of course I owe living to so many other people I’ll never met but when it comes down to being just another number I never see it that way. I wish more people would see in themselves just how unique and special they are too. I’m so sorry to hear about your niece though, she did beat the numbers but I’m sorry she had to suffer at all. It’s for people like her that I want to succeed in the study. She must have been a smart girl to know she was more than just another heart patient but an individual to live on her own time and terms.
On behalf of all the people in the future whose lives you may be saving right now by being in the study, I thank you. You are a wonderful, brave person, and I’m honored to have “met” you!

I can only imagine how wonderfully loyal and loving you are to your family and friends. They are so lucky to have you in their lives. Thank you so much but I’m sure anyone with the same opportunity as me would do the same. You may not be in a study but being as kind hearted as you are is helping others just as much as I am. 🙂
Would a heart transplant fix the problem, or is the cause of the arrhythmia coming from somewhere else? Feel free not to answer if that question was to personal…I just get curious about medical stuff like that.
And I think you’re right that a positive attitude and laughter can help with some things (although I’ve also read that, with cancer, sometimes getting angry can also help), but, even if it doesn’t actually prolong one’s life, I’ve got to think that it at least makes the quality of life better for the time that one does have.
I ‘ver battled my tumor with humor and since my blood type is B+, I said to my self: “Be positive!” and a motto is still use: “Carpe diem.”
Hang in there, lambwaffle! Sounds like you’re going through since pretty tough times, but I’m glad this game brings you some distraction. I started playing it when I was bedridden, too, although my situation wasn’t nearly as bad as yours.

Ah then you know how it feels, bedridden. Too weak to get up but your mind needs a distraction. I’m sorry you felt that. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. I use to draw in bed but even that’s hard now so this game is perfect since I can be creative with my town. It distracts in so many ways 🙂 So I hope to make posting comments and showing my town off another distraction when I can. My handle isn’t as odd as it sounds lol a friend suggested I get a new handle using the word waffle, because at the time all I ate for about six months was waffles. Only waffles. I filled out a name generator thing and it asked for my second favorite thing. Well, my dog. My poodle looks more like a lamb than poodle, round and fluffy. So I put in lamb just to see what the generator would do. Obviously it was not too creative but everyone seemed to like it and it was never taken, easy to remember plus it’s a reminder of my two favorite things. Now I have two poodles, so it worked out I never used one dogs name or the other dog may get jealous lol. You know I’ve never had lamb. I almost went with Lambcake, but waffles have my heart. Plus I like how odd it sounds together 😉

I thought you had said you were having surgery on Monday, so I wasn’t expecting an immediate reply. Glad to hear your brief absence wasn’t for anything too serious. 🙂
I was supposed to but the doctor backed out at the last minute. Too afraid to operate ( I had a seizure during check in ) on me due that plus my worsening heart failure so he rather I just wait in pain. The surgery was for removal of fibroids, polyps and ruptured cysts and tumors I get surgery every year to stop the bleeding. I had begged last year for a hysterectomy but he refused too because of my heart failure so I’m suck doing this surgery of him doing removal of these growth not to mention they push and start to grow outside onto my bladder, bowels and intestines to where I can’t pee, eat, bleed when I use the bathroom. I haven’t sleep in weeks from pain. Besides ovarian cancer runs on my others side so he constantly has to take biopsies so basically he’s saying let’s skip it this year. So I’m stuck in pain with these growth getting bigger all because he’s afraid of working on a patient with seizures. I had three seizures during surgery this February, he was not happy. So I’m just too complicated a patient for him to deal with now because of my heart and seizures. Before my heart failure, seizures and Lupus he had been doing my surgery for 6 years so I wouldn’t be in pain we never did a hysterectomy because I didn’t know at the time I couldn’t even carry baby in my womb or that I’d pass on heart problems to them. By the time I knew hysterectomy was for the best it was too late he refused to agree to it because of my health but that won’t stop cancer or from him racking up a huge bill from a needless ER visit for a seizure which I get them all the time at home. So in the beginning of the new year I have to start the search for a new obgyn that isn’t afraid of working on a complicated case.
Ugh….that’s awful. Can they at least up the pain meds (morphine?), since you’re in the hospital anyway? Or would you rather be more alert, even if it means more pain?
Oh goodness your so sweet but doctors don’t think that way. They give morphine when your almost dying of pain and I have a high pain tolerance I can take a lot even though it’s not pleasant. I’m on so much meds they don’t like adding more meds. It’s my fault really three doctors of mine have been telling me it’s time for quality of life, to see a pain doctor I have just been putting off because I rather be more aware of my surroundings and alert. To me I suppose going to see a pain doctor is part of end of life care when they state is as “we can’t do anything for you let’s just make your years as comfortable as possible ” so going to see a pain doctor is like…giving into the idea of giving up. I’m trying to tell myself it’s not giving up but just getting help because the pain really is unbearable lately hence why I don’t comment anymore or play too often nowadays. I don’t write on my blog here, I’m just curled in a ball and that’s just not living.
Well, if it makes you feel any more configurable with the idea of taking prescription pain killers, there are plenty of us who don’t have anything fatally wrong, yet have to take prescription pain killers every day to manage our chronic pain and be able to live a life. So, you can just be one of us, except that you also happen to have a more serious illness. Does that help? 🙂

I was prescribed very large doses of Lyrica to combat the chronic excruciating pain of my spleen. The pain stayed on, but I didn’t care about, It was as the name of the drug says, I was lyrical, just like being stoned by the use of marijuana.
As a “side effect” my psoriasis went in overdrive. I looked like The Abominable Snowman ⛄️It took a whole body UV treatment to rectify this. I have never had such a deep brown tan 🙂
Oh Lyrica, I’ve heard of it! My rheumatologist advised against it for my fibromyalgia so I use cymbalta which does help as much as it can with nerve pain. Did they remove your spleen? I’m sorry you had to go through such pain D: wow UV treatment helped huh? My husband has slight psoriasis on his legs that act up during winter. Tan nice! Oh the UV and sun are old enemies of mine, I have Lupus aside from my heart troubles so I’m as pink as a piglet lol. Not white pink, good old Lupus makes ya pink. I had no idea though UV could help psoriasis or was it in just your case? Would you mind telling me about it a bit? My mother in law suffers from psoriasis. I had no idea lyrica could get you stoned lol is that normal?

Well at times I had many weird craves, at one point I only ate carrots for months. The reason was my body was trying to cope. I had heart failure undetected for years my body was lacking vitamins, proteins…so I had weird cravings because my body was trying to make yo for it. Like before my heart stopped, for a little over a month I only could stand to eat melons. It turns out melons, cantaloupes are very good for the heart and often heart patients will crave it because it has a vitamin your heart needs. The cardiologist explained my weird food habits to me. I still get weird food habits lol

I’m enjoying the event so far, but I do hope Cosingtons will return at some point: hoping for that to happen in act 2. I think there will be more traditional Christmas items in act 2 since it will be closer to the actual holiday.
Since I like Medieval stuff, I don’t mind the banners and the tents and so on; I rather like them in fact. The Lumber mill looks really great too.

Huge bug in my game …i had the lumber mill, tapped the gnome in my springfield and neighbors springfield sent the workers on the tasks at Cletus farm and Willie’s shack….went away for 4+ hours and i was back to place stonehenge and now can’t tap pagans in my Springfield or send workers to cletus or Willie’s shack and the neighbors are all money no Pagans. And tasks are stuck at build stonehenge and hand in an offering. Which I can’t do because I can’t earn the offerings! (Previously I had already turned in 2 or 3)
Haven’t seen any other comments on this….and not sure what if anything I did to cause this. I already did the whole hard close and uninstall but to no avail. Really bites because I was off to a good start and like how this all looks.

Not really religious just love decorating my Springfield for Christmas, and really look forward to the Christmas events, I was waiting and kept checking play store, where is the Christmas event? Then this arrives, this event is a major dissapointment cleared a main area in anticipation and got a winter event? Half of the stuff is old stuff from old event, just lazy, and no new Christmas stuff. Cannot show any interest and major let down. Will keep playing to visit my neighbors, but cannot wait for this to end.🙁😦😧😩
