Looks like EA has delivered an event teaser to our games. So for all of you looking for more downtime…you’ve got it. This teaser will start today and end next Wednesday (Aug 1st), which is likely when the next event will start.
So what’s inside this teaser? Not a whole lot. Some minor dialogue and a free decoration…
And that’s really it. So those who asked for a break, you’ve now got a full week with nothing else going on in the game to enjoy that break…
Oh and there is this teaser for what’s ahead in the system message…
“Cartoon animals might be a thing of the past, but what about real ones? Find out what new attraction is coming to Springfield soon!”
What does this mean for the next event? Will we really get Moe’s Ark? Only time will tell. But keep in mind last time we got the Cayman Island Banker and the update was Itchy and Scratchy Land…

Man, what a tease… I was kinda looking forward to another mini-event to get Disgruntled Goat, Manic Mailman, and Ku-Klux Klam…lol.
Dont forget Uncle Ant. He had his moments too.
Was going to be bored for the week, but the first event in 2 months just dropped in Futurama:WOT

I know a lot of people complained about the rides from the last event …… and Looking though my friend’s towns I’m underwhelmed by the track layouts…….. I WANT to build more track pieces since I didn’t get to compleate my master plan of the rollercoaster.
Hmmmm let’s brainstorm what animals have had an impact on the show… princess, furious d, jubjub, Santa’s little helper, snowball 2, crazy cat lady, laddy, spiderpig, blinky, Burns hounds, the see my vest references and the 25 dogs involved in that episode, the various lake Springfield is polluted creatures, those lizards Bart hatched
Tomacco episode. The wolves and cougars learning to work together too!. Hypnotoad. Barts bullfrog that takes over Australia. Screaming Caterpillar. Space Coyote. Most of them have been introduced already.
So welcome downtime! I am not going to speculate and wait patiently for what’s in store next. The game is becoming huge now!
I am so excited about this. Have been waiting for animals for quite some time to put in my farm area. I have the nativity barn from Christmas – with a strategically placed tree to hide the camel – the old grey mare, the slaughter truck of cows and a few reindeer but that’s it (I joined the game too late for the Wild West event and all those horses).
I hope this teaser isn’t throwing us completely off the scent. I will definitely spend irl money on donuts to get some more animals.
The disgruntled goat decoration is also a brilliant addition to my little country fair area on the farm too.
Well EA gave us a small hint for next week. The only clue I’m curious about is that I have a discounted offer for Kamp Krusty with the character skin for Bart. Is that any way related to the next event? I have a strong feeling the next event will offer all the old retro Simpsons family when they were crudely animated.
seems strange to be doing an animal update based around moe when uncle moes exotic petting zoo is already in the game unless of course this turns out to be an expansion of that to make it bigger and better. Although with the disgruntled goat mention and the dialogue including Roger Meyers it could also be a phase 3 continuing on from the poochie mini event and I & S land before that.
Not that EA cares, but if the next event is a continuation of this event, I’m done, I’m out, I’ve had it. 🏃♀️
Disappointed but I can wait, on another note, I got my new tab today with 16g hard drive and 2 gig ram, thought this would have sorted out the lag I have with i/s land but it’s the same, got to be the servers as I can’t think what else it could be.?
Unfortunately, 2GB of memory is very marginal for a tablet to run TSTO.
Current generation high-end phones are now at 4GB or higher. Older premium tablets like the Galaxy Tab S2 are at 3GB.
If you want a smooth experience with lots of items/characters, it’ll have to be a more powerful device.
I’m pretty convinced it’s people’s home server’s that interact with the game servers that are the culprit. Hoping not to jinx myself but I haven’t had any of the lags people talk about and i am on an old 2014 ipad air2 and have all of the animations going like the rides and monorails and stuff people have to undo to reduce their lags. I mean maybe not, but it seems random enough for it to be something like that. Then again i’m pretty computer illiterate.

Yeah, my Air2 is from 2014 or 2015 as well, and is still going strong. Knock on wood, or whatever. Lol
When my game was lagging I took my iPad to 3 different locations/houses all on different wifi speeds and the game performed all the same.
It may be that (like the rollback glitch) a particular server is the problem. If you win the lotto, no lag…if you lose, nothing is going to totally clear it.

Can’t help you with mobile gaming, but I experience no lag whatsoever playing on my laptop via bluestacks. Bluestacks has issues of its own, but tsto does not run slow one bit. I also have a 17 inch screen to view everything as I design. If you have a pc and do not mind being in front of a computer, it’s a nice option. Bluestacks is free too.
A possible solution could be that storing the ride entrances and the I&S Land Gate (orange entrance with Itchy & Scratchy hitting each other on top) and possibly the ride pieces. That resolved the lagging for me after the event ended. If you decide to place the rides and connect them then keep the animations off on the rides by tapping the purple switch on each of the ride entrances.
So is the addition of Disgruntled Goat a fitting transition from ISL to an animal Event, or a clever jab at Addicts?

Noah’s BIG ship and the tiny basket Moses was placed in. (A ‘life saver’, perhaps)
The Ark of the Covenant comes from a similar sounding Egyptian word that means coffin (box, cabinet)
So, ARK, may mean boat or box, or cupboard or coffin, or….
Might contain animals, or babies, or dead people or items of value….
Who knows, ?

I am so happy that the event doesn’t start until next week (technically next month). The stall would work well in I&S Land or K-Land in terms of design. It would of been nice if EA named this item as Disgruntled Goat Stall instead of just Disgruntled Goat if it does appear in the next update.
So I guess I was right about the tiny “event.”
I am so happy to have a week off of grinding and worrying. Going to take the time to redo some parts of my town and build up my donut supply for the next event. The lag has FINALLY chilled on my game so I can now place things.
Maybe we will get actual cows and not horses painted as cows?
Ehh, usually we just tape a bunch of cats together.
Great, I will be on holiday when this event lands and will be seriously restricted in accessing the game. Oh well I hope that anything of value to collect, i.e new char will not be the last item in the quest, but no 3 like it has been recently
Last night or the night before “Barts inner child” was on in the uk!
I was thinking to myself then how I need the zoo in my Springfield!
I’d put money on that’s what coming next! What better time to go to the zoo than in the summer holidays!
It would fit the bill for the previous teaser, ‘old school summer fun’.
Well what a let down, I was led to believe the next event was starting today not in a weeks time !!!
I now want to find a disgruntled goat cuddly toy for my first child.

I’ll tell you one thing: if Moe’s Ark doesn’t have a baby ox, I will consider this whole event a complete waste of time.
I think this a teaser for a Springfield Zoo update because:
1) It says “Cartoon animals might be a thing of the past, but what about REAL ONES?”
2) Moe’s Ark is a pun on Noah’s Ark which obviously related to animals
3) It says “attraction” which also could suggest a zoo.
Makes sense for the zoo, its been featured in several episodes and would bring Larry Kidkill to our Springfields. But don’t we already have a majority of the animals from the show already?
Maybe we’ll get rhino’s that stamp out fires on Canyonero’s.

I had been sad that we didn’t see Disgruntled Goat (one of my favorite Simpsons creations) and now we have him. Though I’d love to have an actual character. I guess the Clam didn’t make the cut…
It will be hard to say, but I am having a feeling it will be a zoo type event or an outdoors wilderness type event
There is still such a lag… this event will be hard to do if the major lag is still there!!!… is there any other way besides removing a log ride piece and storing the zoominator to stop this lag??!!!!…thanks!!! Any help will do!!!! 🙃😀😀

I stored the three attractions and related pieces from last event and things were back to normal. Too bad for EA, but I could use the free land anyway.
Well, I took a guess and placed the decoration by my
Springfield Farms / Farmers Market area, even though it looks like a Carnival Game.
How is it your comment just now made me realise I could make a little food kiosk carnival area near the fair pavilion with the KL stuff? *facepalm*
I put mine in the KL / I&S area. Along with leftover tents from Whacking Day; Some Buzz Cola & Duff tents from other events to make a fairground type site. Dirt flooring between all. I’ve also used Duff beer pyramid & some Beerquariums & happy crowds to make a Duff Adults only area in the new theme park combo.
Not being a watcher of the show; I’ve been creative with the parent’s bridge & used it to lead to an area with the SFH exotic pond, & SFH modern whatever little building that looks a tad like a hothouse or gift shop. Add some benches! & there it is! An adults only area!
Is there such a thing as Moe’s Ark to get ? In the episodes, I mean.
