In-Game Update: Classless Reunion Mini-Event is Live (updated and complete)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Back to back mini-events in Springfield!  At least we have new content, right?  I think they only thing we can be sure of these days from EA is to expect the unexpected.  I don’t think any of us thought another 2-week mini-event would follow State of Despair, but here we are.

In looking at the content for this one, while yes this mini-event has the standard 5 prize questline, it’s mostly about the returning content.  This mini-event comes with the largest mystery box I’ve ever seen.  What feels like every single item from Springfield is back in one Mystery Box.  Literally, hundreds and hundreds of items are in this one box. Over 700 items available.  All for 30 donuts. That’s what this event is about.  Reunions.  Both of the High School variety and returning content to Springfield variety.

And before I hear from the “This game is ending crowd”…get a grip.  Please.  This is basically Black Friday, but 1 Mystery Box instead of 15-20.

On with the content!

Things kick off in Springfield with some dialogue from Homer (about getting ready for his reunion), followed by a task for him…

As always with brand new content, I’m still going through everything.  So continue to check back on this post as I’ll be adding to it as I go.  Once it’s finished I’ll add “Updated and Complete” to the title.

Mini Event Ends March 26th

First, let’s check out the prizes…

The currency we’re collecting for this event…Prom Crowns…

Premium Content

There’s 1 new premium item for this event and that’s the Prom Photo Booth…

The photo booth is 150 dounts.  It comes with animated tasks for Teenage Marge, Artie, Barney, and Homer. Also has a 2.5% bonus on cash and XP

If you don’t have the teenage versions of the characters you can get them with this as well.  But they’re bundled.  So if you’re missing all 3 you have to buy all 3 together. Missing 2, 2 together and so on.

Sorry guys, the info about GGR is bad info.  That’s why I get for trusting some folks in the comments.  I just searched the files, I don’t see any indication of it at all. Sorry I got your hopes up!

Golden Goose Realty- 150 Donuts.  Now is your chance.  If you missed it before get it now!  This earns land tiles every 12hrs.  More info here UNVERIFIED IN GAME.  Going off of other reports on this guys.  Can’t say for certain if it’s accurate that it’s back.

Shotgun Pete’s- $67,150

Sir Putt-A-Lot’s- $67,200

Springfield University- 25 Donuts.

Tongue-Kiss Point- 55 Donuts. Earns 3% bonus on all cash and XP

The Mystery Box

Yearbook Mystery Box- 30

Hit that Blue Refresh Button to see more prizes available to you.  REFRESH UNTIL YOU SEE PRIZES YOU WANT.  Don’t Try until you see what you want on the Screen

Honestly, guys, THIS is what this event is about.  This Mystery Box.  Over 700 items, all returning content to Springfield.  30 donuts a try.  Time to take your chances and see what you might get! As far as what’s inside the box?  Here’s a list, in alphabetical order.  There’s so much content I’m trying to keep it as easy as possible to find…

Listwise, it appears in the files with other names and in some case without indicating characters coming with them (if they do).  I tried to go from memory to indicate characters, but I know I missed a bunch.  If it came with a character before it’ll come with it again. Go by the pictures you see in the box, not my list.  My list is just so you know every possible item available.

  1. “holy crap” indeed! Quite the undertaking to compile such a list, thanks.
Been spending dounuts like they are going out of style and as a result huge backlog of tasks in the “bad book”.
On another subject, seems the friend visit glitch is no more 😞. Fun while it lasted.

  2. Alissa, there is no limited time on the yearbook mystery box. Is it permanent? If so, the donut prices of individual items should be lowered. Why would anyone buy an item for 150+ donuts when they can get it for 150 (or less) along with up to 4 other “free” ones by keep playing the box until they win it?

    Like

    • 🤷‍♀️ there’s no end date in the files for it. There wasn’t one to start with. However, with the patch released today, they removed the timer on it as well. The only way to know is to find out on the 26th.

Don’t think they’ll change the price for new content. 1. your theory assumes new content will hit the yearbook mystery box. 2. they’ve had mystery boxes out for a long time now, and still added new content. 3. The new content for a singular purchase price is for those who don’t want to “take a chance” in the box that they may get what they want, or they may get crap. Personally, I’d rather spend 150 donuts on something then end up with 4 items I don’t want to get 1 i do want. If I’m passing on something in the store there’s a reason, and it’s not because of it’s cost. It’s because I don’t want it.

      • No, I’m just referring to old content. With the Burns mystery box you can get the news van for 18 or 38 donuts and sell back the other items or pay 40 donuts from the store. I can’t imagine that anyone knowing about the mystery box cycles would get the van for 40. I have not yet bought anything from the yearbook box but I imagine all unwanted items can be sold back for in game cash if you get something you don’t want. Anyway, I hope it is permanent as I only have 78 donuts currently on hand.

        • The Van and the Itchy Scratchy Billboard show up freqently on the “regular” mystery box. Which costs donuts to play. So…it is kind of a wash at some point

      • well I bloodmobile farmed and actually bought everything from the yearbook mystery box but still no death mountain is this something I should take up with ea? or will there be more stuff to come from the mystery yearbook?

  4. Yesterday the event started for me normally, but today I got a new update and the event is gone, as well as the event mystery box.
Any body else experiencing the same?

  5. Tongue-Kiss Point reminds me quite a bit of Contraceptive Overlook (from Valentine’s Day 2019) — with the exception that TKP earns 3% bonus. I wonder what these two look like side by side?

  6. I’m not sure what I was thinking getting the Photo Booth when I already had all the young characters. 150 donuts for 2.5% … and the animated task requires all 4 characters at the same time. 5 more mystery box wins would have been a much better haul.

  10. FYI – Teenage Marge, Barney & Artie also come with their original buildings. So in addition to the Photo Booth, you will get the Roller Rink, Ice Fishing Shack, and Marge Fountain/Garden if you need all three. So, for me, it was 300 donuts for 3 characters and 4 buildings/decorations – not bad.

  13. I’d just like to remind everyone to look up if something is an actual full playable character before assuming it is.

Regillion queen is not, and Mayan bundle is just a skin for homer and marge with the addition of an npc.

  14. I just spent around 6 700 donuts… my mystery box is now empty…
Big thanks to the Addict community… with all my farming, I have now broken my ADDICTion to TSTO (I had over 14 000 donuts, now down to 7 300 donuts, 682 millions in cash, 3 515% multiplier),,, I just log in 1 time per day with the finger statue, I can finally do more important things!! loll

    Thanks for all infos! Regards,

  16. Wondering what the best bonus % item is in the bunch… cause with this many days bumping the bonus % up now and doing both bloodmobile and KEM would only mean more items by the end… I know the whale is 7%… anything else?

  17. For people who don’t have Barney do they get him?

  18. YES YES YES YES YES!!!!

I have been playing loyal to this game since it first came out.

Spent over $10,000 irl for donuts before I figured out KEM farming (thanks to this site)

I am a completionist. Which means we need every item. Every character. Every variety of fence. EVERYTHING! But every now and then we slip up. We miss an item.

For me it was the Hi Glow Rotating Toxic Barrels decoration. That was that one missing piece that drove me nuts. But alas, I am back to 100%.

Every single item. Every character. Everything. Damn, it feels good.

Say what you want about Tapped Out but this Day 1 player is happy!

    • You spent 10 grand on this game! 😳
So many more important things you could have spent that money on instead of digital pixels on your phone
Is your game really that much different from someone who doesn’t spend money for the sake of $10,000?

      Liked by 1 person

      • Eh. It is a vice. A luxury. Some people spend extra cash on liquor. Some people on pot. Some people on Vacations. Some on sporting events. To each their own. Myself, it’s Simpson’s Tapped Out. (Oh and Pot I love that too lol)

Is it that different? Yeah I got everything. A complete Springfield. If you are not a completionist you wouldn’t understand.
