Well…call me surprised! They actually seem to be on a roll here. I mean the writers… Because the update feels like almost every other update lately. But I digress…
What you are all here for is the numbers. The numbers that are going to help you get the all of the Babies…the Baby Stuff…and a whole lot of kinda random buildings. But, I have no fear that the writers will figure out a way to tie it all together. So, Let’s Get Started!
This update is SUPER Easy. Maybe they think we ALL regressed into toddlers. But, hey…there would be worse things. After all, my grandson Jake is about as as happy a kid as you’ll find anywhere. And Alissa’s little Sammy…is always smiling. Maybe it’s about being able to fill your diaper, and not think twice about it. I’m 65…it may not be that many years before I find out! But, I digress…
This time, I did the calendar with numbers that will help you finish well before the deadlines each week. And if you do that, you will finish the even just as Easily…Obviously.

Ling and BGMurphy!!!! Thank you so much for making this high value calendar, dear Patrick. I was getting very depressed and disappointed with baby Homer’s BBBs (boring, brown buildings) – they are also quite large and inanimate like carbon rods. I was so not in the mood for doing this challenge at all – but now you gave me so much excitement! I am super stoked to get Ling, BGM himself and his cloud (RIP), the Snowball I cloud (RIP), baby Lisa and Marge (always happy with more girls running around my city), their nice buildings, the treehouse and of course the Kamp Krusty with the Kamp Bart skin! Hooray!

I’m not sure what to think of old premium items being prizes in this event since it splits players in two groups (one group that has all/most/some of the premiums, and the other that doesn’t have all/most/some of the premiums) and I’m in the group that has the old premiums before this event.
It’s good for newer players and people that didn’t buy them can get them as a prize so they can use the donuts on other things like the event premiums or the yearbook mystery box.
It’s bad for older players and people that did buy them because they had to spend donuts on them at full price or at a cheaper donut price, though, they get half a dozen and a full dozen of donuts instead (I would’ve preferred land tokens instead).
I’m surprised someone hasn’t said yet “I got the Old Simpson Farm and 6 donuts today!” (probably from a daily challenge).
Other than that and the lack of land tokens again, I really like all the prizes in this event which reminds me a bit of the Valentine’s Day event this year with all the buildings and that they can go in separate areas instead of having an event area like Game of Games.
It’s just not up to snuff.
Are you guys starting to store building to make room for all this new content? If so, what are you storing? I’m thinking about storing a bunch of casino stuff, Shelbyville and Capital City buildings, and most of Krustyland.
It’s only the item limit that’s sometimes an issue for me, but I just store things like fences. Otherwise, I have bucketloads of free land thanks to getting 2 land tokens per day from Golden Goose.
I already got the Bagle joint so I am ahead of schedule.
I like this. I can plan ahead, make room for items or create a new area for something.
I also like that you get donuts if you already habe something. Although there is a huge difference between the value of the items and the number of donuts you get instead.
I JUST got Ling from the yearbook mystery box like three days ago, and I could have waited and got her for free!!! I didn’t know!!!! Oh well. I don’t have Kamp Krusty yet so at least I’ll be getting that one!
How do you know what the system requirements are? I have an older Samsung Tablet. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app at least 3 times, and it keeps freezing. The last update worked just fine.
The game has a glitch right now. Android/Kindle users can’t get in and some older Samsung models won’t work either.
It seems like a fun game. I really wish I could play it.

Yeah we get three variants of several Simpsons Characters (Adult, Teen, Toddler) …. or two variants (Kid, Toddler / Adult, Toddler). Now if L-EA-Z-Y could just see to it that these new Characters are all voiced (lol – credit goes to the writers, who all must be new parents because the dialogue is vewy vewy funny like you’re speaking to a tot!)
The Calendar is spot on (thank you Patrick), I’m not even trying (as in I’m not grinding, nor logging into the Game App every 4 hours) and I will have the 3rd Act Prize by tonight. Will it get more difficult and require more Characters earning Event Currency? I dunno but it’s nice to know we have options (as in new Premiums).
I just earned the secon prize and it only gave me the six donuts, I didn’t have an option of donuts or building. What am I missing?

Agggggh. I left for vacation last Sunday. Before leaving, I spent 800 donuts on mystery box items, because surely there won’t be an event anytime soon. Just got back today and started working on the event. Gotta get the farm kicked up. I had over 1000 donuts ….aghhhh…can’t believe how poor my timing is.
Oh well, it was a great vacation, and it was 100% tech free. Spent most of my time in and around Lake Erie, brought home some nice fresh Walleye that my cousin caught from his boat.

I have a new Amazon Fire tablet 7″ (in sage!), and everything works fine, thankfully. I traded in my old Fire 7″, and that one had the zoom-out glitch and was constantly having server issues.
I feel everyone should do exactly what Beckie did (it sucks when old devices are no longer compliant, but I consider this on par with owning an old desktop / laptop that will not update to Windows 10) replace you’re older Amazon fire Kindle with a new one – heck, maybe if you let Amazon know what’s going on? they may offer you a trade-in discount …. 🤔
People are reporting the glitch on new devices of all types on the EA forum. It isn’t limited to just old devices or Kindles

Should be finished week 1 on Saturday or Sunday, those donut prizes if you have the buildings and characters don’t make sense, bgm and jazz hole cost 150 donuts if not more, and the prize is 12 donuts, easy peezy event I think.
I just want to say that, well, in regards to the calendar and the character jobs…. how should I put it…. hm.. I will be rushing them with farmed donuts!!!!… muahahahaha (evil laugh)… muahahahaha… du du dummm..

I just finished the third task(?). It then requires homer to do a 4 hour task in the new “building”, which requires a 4 hour build. I rushed the build cor 2 donuts, I have been burnt by not doing that and then forgetting to send that character on the task that you have to scroll down (Safi, if you are reading this, please substitute scroll up – dang metric system) to find.
Yes it speeds things up a smidge, but not so much to take all of the enjoyment out of it.
All my neighbors are gone except Other Springfield. Did that happen with this update?
Log off…all of the way.. then come back in. Likely a cache glitch.
That happens to me from time to time. All I do is just go back to my springfield close out the game (iPhone) clear cached apps. (double click home button then swipe up on the apps). Go back into game and all is fine.
Some times I only have to go back to my springfield and then back to neighbours and it is fixed.
Guess I’m just another of the few people who can’t get on…

I’m excited for all the new buildings, already Captain Dodge ’ems has brought legitimatecy to my rather arbitrary looking bumper car corral in KL land. I already have big plans for the demolition car lot. Finally a reason to get Truckasaurus. I’m going to move Dentz over, Cletus’ monster truck, the Mad Max looking vehicle and make a nice transition from town to my Outlands. East side Apts will provide some much needed residential homes to the Outlands too. Looks like there’s a big purple kid area in my Springfields near future, finally get that mismatched Childrarium out of storage. Some buildings for my future Shelbyville and Cypress Creek once I finally achieve my dream of squaring off my land in the next month or so. And since I already have all returning items all those donuts will take some of the bite out of all those premiums I’ll be getting! As a bonus looks like another skin for the tree house for a little variety from Bart’s casino. And Snowball I !!!

I am sorry your Amazon Kindle is giving you grief …. I think Beckie had the right idea and replaced her’s with a new Amazon Fire Kindle (she is experiencing no problems logging into the Game App). Does it kind of suck you may have to update your Kindle? Yeah, but I am hoping if you let Amazon know what the problem is …. maybe they will offer a trade-in discount (or a warranty trade-in).
How about bringing up the terrible job of releasing this game to where half or more of the players can’t even stay on more than 30 seconds without a hard close happening?? C’mon EA get your crap together!!
While it shouldn’t happen, I dunno if it’s half the players. It’s probably a lot smaller pool of people.

I agree with you on this. Despite my annoyance and victimization (kidding…mostly), it shouldn’t be part of a calendar or Turbo Tapping post. But, maybe a separate post so people (like me) can come here and see if there’s any news or feedback on this issue without searching comments on those posts?
As soon as I get some new info I’ll definitely write up a post on it. For now it’s just a bunch of people saying their game doesnt work lol

It’s not cumulative, it’s just now it does the calendar. Basically, just follow where the prize is and that’s the date you should unlock that prize
Will we ever fix the game glitch I have Amazon and it takes six reloads before I can get the task jobs for prizes set I can’t even do anything with the rest
Does the calendar include premium characters or just the normal ones?
I assume the calendar to be like a pace setter in a race. It’s not set on the characters that can be sent on jobs, but rather, the total (whatever is needed) divided over the week. I have all the premium characters and so I’m a day ahead with no rushing

No, the item limit hasn’t been increased for a while now (since March I believe) and its at 13000 items at the moment.
