Ol’ Gil is back in Springfield! Always a pleasure to see our favorite salesman roaming the streets of Springfield! (hey EA, when the heck are you going to make Gil a playable character?!)
Anyway, Gil is back and, as always, he’s got another “deal” for us. What’s the latest gimmick he’s peddling? Well, this is one you’ve got to see to believe…
So let’s break down the details of this latest offer and determine if this deal is worth the donuts or if you should take a hard pass…
So when you first get into Springfield (well after you’ve launched the event stuff…of course) you’ll see Gil waving his arms around…just begging you to tap on him…
If you tap on him you’ll see…
Gil: Ol’ Gil’s gotta deal that’ll feel unreal! You won’t find a diner that’s any diner than this! Plus, this place comes with certain “perks” if you know what I mean.
Titania: And just what “perks” do you mean?
Gil: What? Oh, I was talking about the hot wings!
At which point you’ll see his latest gimmick…

Gil: Aw, jeez. I was really hoping to punch the last hole in my Knockers card for a free side of fires after my twelfth purchase. Say, can I interest you in a Knockers card with eleven holes in it?

Gil: Hot Diggity! Gil’s gonna be getting attention from the ladies tonight. And all it costs is a mug o’ brew, a basket o’ wings, and the chance for a decent tip! If only Ol’ Gil could afford to tip. Wouldn’t that be somethin’?

How long before this combo would generally be offered up again?
You’ll probably see it in a mystery box in 6 months or so. Depends on if it fits in with the theme of an event…
Titania obviously was an instant buy for me and probably one of the characters I looked forward to for a long time. I wouldn’t say she within top ten of characters I want but yeah she’s around there.
But I’m curious why they didn’t give her an animation of her pouring beer?
I’m not low on donuts though and have been farming Donuts for a good while now and close to 100K donuts which I’ll probably hit around when I am not feeling too lazy.

I passed… hope to use donuts (777) for GOD character if comes around again (didn’t have enough when first offered). However…since I now know how to farm… perhaps some honest competition for Nelsons Mothers business would be nice.
Have donuts will buy. However as I said in another post, very expensive for the newbies, save your donuts. I very rarely took up Gil’s deals in my first year playing as it was hard work to generate enough of them. Stick with it though & concentrate on building up your bonus percentage & farm what you can afford.
Spent the sprinkles, but honestly? We can’t say Valentine’s was brought back as an Event this year …. when the Event Prizes truly aren’t Valentine’s themed (the only Valentines is just the returning Content, if you didn’t obtain it prior).
I grabbed her, Titania and Knockers will make a good Shelbyville version of Lurleen and the Beer ‘n Brawl.
A free side of fires? Jeez, didn’t know Gil was into watching things burn… :p
Honestly though I grabbed her. I farm donuts so it’s not like I’m hurting for them or anything.
Not that it really matters, but didn’t Titania work at Juggernauts? Or was she featured in another episode that I missed? Or do I have WAY too much time on my hands to even be wondering?

You are correct …. and while I spent 🍩’s to get Titians w/Knockers? For 199 🍩’s Tappers should have gotten Juggernauts, too.
I’ve reached the stage where there’s nothing I want in the Mystery Box and can turnover a couple of hundred donuts a day, either through farming or blood mobiles, so having an extra character, even an overpriced Gil deal character with tasks, is something I’ll just take.
Not the same quality as other Gil deals, by a long shot, but still a ‘why not’ buy for me.
I have so many bars in my town so this was an easy pass for me.
