As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we sometimes find ourselves forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.
So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in-game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small, and brag about it to the world. We want you to! Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
So a few weeks ago I posed a question to you all about what we here at Addicts can do to bring back that community feel to the site. (you can find that post here) And I was also open to any and all suggestions y’all might have had for content changes/additions to the site.
As always, you guys were amazing in coming through! I received a ton of feedback and a lot of really good suggestions/ideas for moving forward. I wanted to take a minute here and address some of them, and also give you a little preview of what’s ahead for the Addicts.
This post is going to be very wordy, I apologize in advance!
Your senses can evoke powerful memories in you. The smell of saltwater can trigger you back to your youth spent at the beach, the touch of cotton can bring you back to memories of your mom, and hearing sounds of TSTO can bring back countless hours spent tap, tap, tapping away.

The Little Addicts are back this week with a new Adventure! On this Adventure Sunday, rented out an entire movie theater to see the movie Hop! We also enjoy the beautiful Spring weather and have a special visit with the Easter Bunny! Come join us for all the fun!

We’re gearing up to record a big Addicts Live this week! This will be the episode where we’ll be talking all things The Simpsons! We’re going to discuss all the episodes that have run in the last few weeks since “Diary Queen”…so we’ll be talking:

Also, because of some scheduling conflicts…Saf and I are going to record this one a few days earlier than we usually do. So we’re going to record TOMORROW (Tuesday) evening. So, unfortunately, we don’t have as much time as we usually do to grab your thoughts. But any comments posted to this post BEFORE Tuesday evening will for sure make it in the episode!
Also, we’re planning on finally having you guys join Addicts Live directly! I was hoping to start it with this episode, BUT because of the tight timeline with this episode, I don’t think it’s fair on anyone to do that. But we will have lots of opportunities to do so starting as soon as next week. So, if you’re interested in joining an episode of Addicts Live (this would mean you would be on with both video and audio), look for a post with a signup soon! Note: we generally record on Thursday evenings around 8pm ET.

If you’ve experienced nothing to tap when visiting a neighbor’s town here’s a potential FIX for it. While this won’t help you immediately have something to tap in their town, it can prevent your town from having this same issue when someone is visiting you. (also this will hopefully call attention to the issue so EA can fix it)
It all comes down to the Simpsons Gingerbread Couch….
