It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

Another Event Act has hit our games, which means it’s time for another calendar. Hell on Wheels, Act 2 hit our games this morning.

The Hell on Wheels Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on May 18th. However, Act 3 will start on May 1st (note the Sunday start date)
Things kick off for Act 2 with some dialogue between Homer, Bart, and Lisa…
Bart: Check it out, they have a bunch of old food trucks!
Homer: Food trucks?! I want a food truck!
Lisa: Dad, you know these old food trucks don’t actually come with food.
Homer: Then what’s in all these cabinets? *opening cabinet*
Lisa: Looks like cockroaches.
Homer: WAAAAH! Ask them where the food is!
This triggers the Act 2 questline, The Quest for Car and is followed by 4hr tasks for the Simpson Family (x5), as well as a task to collect Act 2 Currency (115). The Quest for Car is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Some of you had mentioned you’d like a separate reminder post for when the next Act of events will start. So here’s that separate reminder post…
Act 2 of the Hell on Wheels Event starts tomorrow, Friday, April 22nd, at 11 am ET!
Act 1 of the event won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished it you have plenty of time to do so. But Act 2 will be starting up with its own prize track, questline, and premium character(s)!
Here’s who you’ll need free to start Act 2:
The Simpsons (x5) have 4hr tasks to start Act 2.
You’ll also need the characters that earn event currency free. As a reminder, they are:
Homer
Bart
Marge
Lisa
Krusty
Cletus
Lenny
Carl
Kliff (Premium)
New Premium Character for Act 2 (Premium)
And finally, 1 new premium combo will hit during Act 2 that will help with the event, As noted above this character will help earn event currency, and you’ll need 150 donuts for that combo should you wish to purchase it.
