Donut Mech Walkthrough

So, it turns out that last Thanksgiving both Safi and Alissa were so snowed-under they didn’t manage to post about the Atom Smasher event or Black Friday. I’ve only been doing this 11 months and there are times I felt burnt out, and they’ve been doing it for years !!

Anyway, with the Donut Mech in this years Gold Box I figured a Walkthrough might come in handy, better late than never and all that !!

Here’s what’s in this post:
• Basic info
• Questline with Dialog
• Permanent tasks

Lets get started then, shall we . . .

Cold Turkey: Rundown

Right then, a shiny new event means a shiny new Rundown.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new for this mini event.

Before I crack on, the Black Friday stuff will be covered starting next week, but a couple of tips:

If you want to go for the prizes think about what you want and how much you’re willing to spend before you do. If you want it all buy a 900 Donut bundle and done, by far the most cost effective way.

If you’ve plenty of sprinkles for the other boxes start with the cheapest, items are often shown in more than one box. If it’s not so easy to blow Donuts think about what’s in each box and which has more of the items you really want.

If you’re buying tokenss just for the Gold Box tap the ? for the odds and divide 100 by that. For example if it says 4% there’s 25 items. Remember to look at the prize track too, the prize tokens might mean you can get away with a smaller bundle.

Right then, on with the Rundown …

In case you scroll a little too fast here’s what’s included in this post:
• Store Blurb
• Prize items
• Premium combo
• Currency jobs

THOH XXXIV: Ends Soon

Posted on November 13, 2023 by | 14 comments

THOH 2023 splash

This THOH event ends at 14:00 UTC on Wednesday November 15th
14:00 UTC is US 9am ET or UK 2pm GMT

If you get as far as the Part 5 Dialog for any unfinished Acts you will be able to complete those after the event ends, but you won’t get the Outro and Kang and Kodos if you need ’em. Might be worth rushing with donuts perhaps.

When the timer ends the store items won’t be available, so now is the time to decide what you want to buy.

I’ll also add that it’s likely I’ll be posting an Update Alert tomorrow, early afternoon in the US or early evening in the UK.
If your device updates apps automatically but you still need time then go and turn that off and don’t update until the event ends or you’ve finished it all !!

Lastly, on that Monster Hunter Homer quest needing Monsters – EA have said that Taekwon Dracula should count as a Monster for that task ( Act 2 Prize 5 ) and will be releasing a fix soon.
Added: The three Premium monsters from this event also now count for the task, Kung Fu Werewolf, Ninja from the Black Lagoon and Mixed Martial Medusa
If you haven’t yet got to Part 4 of the Monster Hunter Homer quest and own none of the Monsters it’ll now skip that task.
If you have got to Part 4 already you’ll still need to get at least 1 Monster for the job.

OK then, back tomorrow with the Dialog Recap.
TTFN.
