Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

In a collaborative effort between TSTO Topix, TSTO game and TSTO Addicts, we want to feature YOU! Your town, your words anything/everything about YOU! Each month we’ll pick a handful of readers across the three blogs to be featured in our Monthly Shout Out, where we’ll feature your town and some fun information about you. Then at the end of the Shout Out we’ll let the TSTO Community vote for their favorite. That winner will be declared our Tapper of the Month!

EA posting spoilers?

So… reader pakgor pointed out that the TSTO Facebook page posted a spoiler about possible future content and after a quick convo with fearless leader Alissa, she said I can post about it. We don’t often post spoilers like this but since it is on EA’s official page, why not? Here’s what they had to say…

“Mysterious men have been spotted near Springfield. What do they want? When will they arrive? What is with their giant stone? Are you ready to discover the secrets of this cult before it is too late? Or just tired of being asked all these questions?”

Woo hoo! Could this actually be the long-awaited item we’ve all wanted besides the monorail? You know the song, you know the paddling, you know the symbol….

That’s right! A possible Stonecutters event/level/thingy. This is still at the spoiler level so no promises but if it is true, I am super stoked. EA also provided this teaser image in their post.

Only question I have is whether this is the Stone of Shame or Triumph?

Hope this news is as exciting for you as it is for me. We will of course keep you posted if anything more concrete becomes available. Pretty sweet that EA is doing its own spoilers now.

This site really is one of the funniest things in my life right now and I never cease to laugh at the comments from our resident peanut gallery. Every Sunday, we have an open thread which tends to have all sorts of conversations. A little while back, there was a running joke about someone turning Addicts into a dating site. While I know that’s not the truth, it made me wonder what a TSTO dating site would look like. We all are kinda pandering to each other to make sure our towns get tapped regularly, right?

Tapped Out Premium Walkthrough: Chester Dupree

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Level 41 is upon us (for nearly 2 weeks) and with it comes Chester Dupree, a brand new (never before seen) character that’s Dr. Hibbert’s brother in-law!

For those of you who don’t know Chester Dupree is a premium character you can puchase for 15o donuts & comes with an unfinished shed. The Unfinished Shed is a running joke in the show and apparently a running family joke for one of the writers at Gracie Films. (as is almost every other gag on The Simpsons!) Chester is here to make Dr. Hibbert’s life…miserable! If he’s not already, he’ll soon regret telling Moe he was lonely! (You can check out Wookiee’s WDTCF and the Chester Conspiracy Theory for more backstory on Chester)

So now that Chester has been in our games for almost 2 weeks, we figured now would be a great time to post the full dialogue you’ll encounter when you pull the donut trigger and get Chester for your Springfield. Here’s a great place to catch up if you missed any of the funny dialogue. It’s also a great place to see what you might be missing if you decide again purchasing Chester for your town.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

How are my favorite Addicted Tappers this evening? Everyone enjoying this beautiful weekend? Can you believe it’s already June?!

Anyway enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? No it’s not time to see DaPimp’s Krusty LEGO turn it’s head 360º! Nope it’s time for another Sunday Night Open Thread! (this is very quickly becoming our favorite time of the week by the way! You guys have some AWESOME things to say!)

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So…here is your Sunday Night Open Thread. Nothing new in TSTO this past week, but something could be on the horizon this coming week. What do YOU think will happen? In the NHL the Kings and Blackhawks will face off in game 7 tonight to see who will face the NY Rangers for the Stanley Cup. The NBA finals are set and the Heat and Spurs will face off later this week in game 1.

So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, update fun and glitchs, NHL, NBA, MLB or any other 3 letter leagues you can think of! Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

Mad Men of Springfield: Dewey Largo

Welcome to another new addition to Addicts, the Mad Men of Springfield. We will be going into depth on the history and background of the male species running around our lil towns as well as those not yet in the game.

Just think about it. What Man living in Springfield is “normal”? Not a single one that I can think of. They all have at least ONE thing wrong with them. Seriously! Think about it. How many issues does Moe have? A Reverend a “little” obsessed with trains? An owner of a Kwik-E-Mart that goes to counseling with the same person that robs him, on a daily basis? Not to mention the “inbreeding” and other strange happenings going on at the farm. Oh the idiosyncrasies.

So sit back, relax, grab your favorite beverage, and enjoy as we kram your brains with some Simpson knowledge of the MAD MEN OF SPRINGFIELD.

More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. What’s up dear readers and Addicts!

Apologies for being away the past few weeks but had to knuckle down on school for the final few weeks. I’m still in the middle of finals but thought I’d take a quick break and write some thoughts on the latest season of the Best. Show. Ever. It’s amazing that this animated sitcom has ran for 552 episodes over 25 Seasons. Haters can say what they want but that’s some serious longevity. All season, we’ve had the chance to recap each episode for you. The following are just some thoughts I had about each episode.
