Conform-O-Meter Catch Up: Levels 46/47 & Simpsorama/Covercraft Episode Tie-Ins

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well it’s Thanksgiving in Springfield…but before we can talk about all the new Thanksgiving items and how they impact the Conform-O-Meter, we first have to play a little Conform-O-Meter catch up!

Between Halloween and Thanksgiving we were hit with 2 Level Updates and 2 episode tie-ins.  Those events brought a ton of new decorations and requirements that impact the Conform-O-Meter, so let’s take a look at how it all breaks down!

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

Of course with the release of Levels 46 and 47 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are.  So now you’ll have all the information you need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!

Level 43 and the O-Meters

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Level 43 has arrived in Springfield!  And, as usual, with the release of Level 43 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed.  Let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are, so  you can have all the information you’ll need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!

What IS different about this update is it’s solely for Krustyland.  So while the requirements for a 5-Star town have changed, not one of the new buildings/decorations will impact it.  Instead the new rides, restaurants & decorations will impact your Krust-O-Meter.  Although the requirements for the Krust-O-Meter do not change.

Confused yet?  To recap…Conform-O-Meter requirements have changed with Level 43, Krust-O-Meter requirements have not changed with the update.  New buildings for Level 43 will impact the Krust-O-Meter only, no impact on the Conform-O-Meter.

So enough explaining, let’s show you.  At Level 43 here’s what you’ll need to max out your Conform-O-Meter: Continue reading

Well Level 41 is upon us and with it come a whole new set of Conform-O-Meter requirements, as well as new decorations and buildings to contribute towards your 5-star rating!  In my efforts to write the post for the Level 41 Confrom-O-Meter changes I realized that in the craziness of Easter and all the lag issues I never recapped the Conform-O-Meter changes Level 40 & the Yellow Badge of Cowardge.  So…there’s no time like the present so why not cover all three in 1 post?  🙂

Level 39 and the -O-Meters (Conform and Krust)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

So Tuesday (3/25) meant the end of St. Patrick’s Day in Springfield (as well as the end of the War of Art Episode Tie-In) but alas our rivers were still green since an actual update was required to rid our town of green water for another year.  And that update hit on Friday (3/28)!

Of course with the release of Level 39 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are.  So now you’ll have all the information you need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!

What Is the Krust-o-Meter?

Consider the Krust-o-Meter the Conform-o-Meter of Krustyland.  Just like the Conform-O-Meter you’ll see it in the lower left corner, just to the right of the level indicator.  And if you tap the meter, it’ll break everything down for you like this:
TSTO Krustyland Conformometer
Just like in Springfield, buildings, rides and decorations that you build or place in Krustyland contribute to a conformity bonus. Each bouncy ball you get in the total rating will earn you up to a 5% bonus when it comes to Krustyland tickets and XP collections.  Note: Krustyland, unlike Springfield, does not award half a bouncy ball.  You’ve got to completely fill the bouncy balls in order for it to count towards the Krust-o-Meter bonus.

The Krust-o-Meter is broken out into 4 parts:

  • Nausea: changes with the number of nausea-inducing rides in your Krustyland.
  • Grub: changes with the number of food stalls and restaurants in your Krustyland.
  • Kitsch: changes with the number of decorations and special objects in your Krustyland.
  • Merch: changes with the number of games of skill and stores selling stuff in your Krustyland.

As an added bonus, the Krust-o-Meter rating also helps you generate visitors to your Krustyland who will help you earn tickets faster. They’re completely random visitors who will wander around  Krustyland. You won’t be able to assign them tasks, but they will still earn you tickets.  Check out this post for more details on the random visitors in your Krustyland. Continue reading
