Hey hey friends! I hope everyone is doing well with the SciFi Event as it comes to a close. I have been one busy walking carpet with two jobs, writing here, full-time school, and the fun and excitement of the podcast I’ve been recording. I wrote a couple posts about said podcast and had initially planned on reminding folks weekly about the madness that is me rambling about life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff but realized I didn’t want to bombard the site with non-Simpsons stuff. I do have to shameless plug myself though sometimes, don’t I?
So… if you hadn’t noticed, I’ announced last week that I started a podcast. Alissa has been an amazing supporter of this endeavor by yours truly and in her usual benevolent fashion, is allowing me to remind readers here of episodes as they come out. Since weekends tend to be slow for posts (as we enjoy the time with our friends and families), we’ll post these on Saturdays just as a reminder. I know a bunch of people like when I ramble and this format allows for that to the extreme.
So… if you hadn’t noticed, I’ve made a couple mentions in the past of trying out a new format for all my random ramblings. That’s right, somewhere along the lines of life, the universe, and everything, I got the bug to start my own podcast to add to the Wild West that is that world of internet radio schtuff. It took some doing and figuring out, but I finally got it all done.
Well hello there dear readers. Wookiee popping in for another edition of Silly Simpsons news. Being a Simpsons enthusiast, I often tool around the ultraweb seeing all the cool stuff going on in the big wide world. ALways aware that keeping any knowledge gained is the same as being a Kwyjibo, some cool stuff is below the fold…
Wookiee popping in with a little spot of Silly Simpsons News. I know not everyone has the compulsions I do to look for new and exciting news about the Best. Show. Ever. but since I do, I figured I’d share something I came across.
Hola, me llamo Wookiee. Mi perro fuerte es muy grande porque comer muchos burritos en la playa del sol. ¿Has oído hablar del reloj de cuco Simpsons?
Wow… That sentence was much harder to write than I thought it’d be. Thank you California public school system and Oogle translate. I bet there’s about 5 years of Spanish teachers that would love to shake me right now. I actually did do a verbal report on “mi perro fuerte” in 8th grade but I bet it was much funnier and in better Español. If you think that the Wookiee has gone cuckoo, you’re probably right. You’ll just have to click more to see how. Continue reading →
