Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s snowing in Springfield and that can only mean one thing…Winter has arrived!

As part of the 2016 Winter Event, the Wiccans were a premium trio of characters in our stores. And they came with their own questline to work your way through.

Remember that the Wiccans can help earn event currency, so it’s ok to hold off on doing their questline until the event is over. It’ll still be there to work on once the event is gone. So hold off until you’re ready.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s snowing in Springfield and that can only mean one thing…Winter has arrived!

Act 2 of the 2016 Winter Event hit our devices yesterday and with it arrived, not only new pagans invading our pocket-sized Springfields, but a whole new questline to work our way through!

As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 2 runs until December 30th, and you’ll need Homer and Lisa and a variety of others free for a a bunch of 6s tasks to get things started.

Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the second Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.

So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what happens when Springfield goes Pagan…

Should I Buy- The Singing Stones (with complementary sheet music)

OK. So every once in a while there is an item that simply makes me laugh. The programmers seem to come up with these things, just when we are exasperated with an update (does anyone remember being exasperated lately?) that almost redeems them from past indiscretions.

For me…the Singing Stones are exactly one of those items. But, before I go too far, I do remember that these things are supposed to have a format. I’ll do my best to stick to the format, while humming and tapping out songs on the stones in my game.

Let’s be clear. This has nothing to do with the Rolling Stones. These stones don’t rock, or roll…but they do sing! And they are a TON cheaper than a ticket to see the Rolling Stones at this past summer’s “Oldchella” concert in the California desert (which averaged about $400 per ticket). I like the Stones…but I don’t like them THAT much. But, I digress…

Just popping in to let you know that the 2016 Christmas/Winter Event is on its way! After a TON of waiting…it’s finally on its way!

The update has hit the files…which means it’ll be hitting our app stores (likely iOS first) soon.

We’ll be back once it’s arrived with all of the details…for now just know that the forecast is calling for SNOW in Springfield!

Or let’s just talk about this darn ~~Elf~~ Gnome that everyone keeps bringing up.

There have been a lot of discussions in the comments over the last day or two about the free Gnome in Your Home and the product that inspired it, Elf on the Shelf. Many of you are commenting about how you use the Elf in your own home. While others are commenting about how creepy the original Elf…and even more so the Gnome..is. But why is it here? What’s the purpose?

Well Thanksgiving is over (although the event still has another day) and you know what that means? Time to start planning for Christmas!

This year Christmas has come early in Springfield! Looks like EA’s decided to re-release a bunch of the Christmas/Holiday inspired items in TSTO to get us all in the holiday spirit!
