Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Fall has arrived and there’s a haze over our Springfield’s, that can only mean one thing….it’s Halloween in our pocket-sized towns! This year EA’s thrown a little magic into the mix, with an Angelica Button theme invading our towns. We’ve got beasts to battle, creatures to capture, wizards to wand wave and goblin gold to gather! Quite a few alliteration altercations huh?

Of course, it wouldn’t be an event in TSTO without some premium content.  And for Act 1 of Halloween, your premium character of choice is Angelica Button.  Not only does she battle beasts, but she has her own questline to quest through. (ok one alliteration too far perhaps…)

THOH XXVII 101: Releasing the Beasts Act 1

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Fall has arrived and there’s a haze over our Springfield’s, that can only mean one thing….it’s Halloween in our pocket-sized towns! This year EA’s thrown a little magic into the mix, with an Angelica Button theme invading our towns.

We’ve got beasts to battle, creatures to capture, wizards to wand wave and goblin gold to gather! Quite a few alliteration altercations huh?

Yesterday, Super Safi wrote a great, detailed, post all about the Beasts.  How you capture them and enchant them.  So now you’re all wondering, “Ok I’ve got these Beasts captured and under my enchanted spell, now what?”

Well, you release them back into the wild.  Why?  Let’s take a look….

THOH XXVII 101: Locked Slots

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Popping in with something real quick.  Seeing a lot of you saying your slots to send more wizards to fight beasts are locked.  They aren’t. A locked slot looks like this:

You see the chains on the door?  That’s LOCKED.  The other slots look like this:

See?  No chains.  And the doors are slightly (very slightly) opened.

Plus, do you see how when you assign 1 the other characters still have the blue select button lit up?

That means you can still send them to capture this beast.

So don’t worry about unlocking more doors…they’re already unlocked. Hope that clears it up for some of you that are still confused!

Turbo Tappin’ Halloween 2017: Act 1

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, Halloween 2017 certainly hit Springfield with a thud yesterday! A magical event has arrived in our towns, but of course it wasn’t without it’s inital problems.  Thankfully the questline bugs are patched and we’re ready to conjure up some fantastic spells in Springfield!

For Act 1 of Halloween you’re tasked with working your way through the introduction fo all things magical…including wizard studies, trolls, goblin “gold” and fantastic beasts!

As was mentioned on the run down post Act 1 of Halloween runs until October 1th (when Act 2 will start), and you’ll need Lisa and Homer to get things started.

Don’t forget the Questline will help you get some bonus prize currency…so make sure you complete it to earn that extra currency…also the questline is there to guide you.  Make sure you complete the main questline in order to unlock things like neighbor actions, crafting and more.

Now let’s wave our wands and view the quick walkthrough for the first Act of Halloween…

Halloween Is Live! (Updated and Complete)

Update 8:50p ET: Looks like this is fixed now…at least the not being able to progress.  New update downloads and you’ll get Wizard Lisa and Bart, and that will allow you to complete the beast task…

I’m now working on updating this post, since I can now move through. So keep checking back, I’ll be updating more info below…

Update: So apparently I’ve missed a few bugs…I can also tell you EA sent out a patch to Android (or something), as I just got a massive in-game download.  BUT now I have the crazy zoomed out bug that was going around for other devices (I have a Galazy S8).  So not quite sure what’s going on….

Some are reporting problems with iOS as well.  It’s not loading.  However, i currently have no issues on iOS.

So yes, apparently the bug is still there…for both iOS AND Android.  It gets stuck here:

And you can’t progress.  For those who don’t already know, yes it’s widespread. And yes they’re working on a patch.

Also there’s a glitch with the Magic Scratch R…don’t buy it right now.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Halloween is currently LIVE on Android, iOS and Kindle!  I’m on my way out the door to pick up the Tiny Addict, but i’ll update this post more when I get home.

For now know that Lisa needs to be free for a 6s task.  You’ll then need to place the Chamers Market (free) and complete 6s tasks for Springfielders and Homer. Then ANOTHER 6s task for Homer, and another for Lisa.  You’ll then have to build the Magic Academy (also free) and complete ANOTHER 6s task for Homer. And then you’ll FINALLY launch the event….

I’ll be back with way more once I get home and situated.  For now, have fun guys! More info below the fold…
