This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes.  For parts two through 9 of We Didn’t Start the Fire you’ll have to earn crookandladder_medal_ via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.  The final of the 8 prizes is the coveted SVFD Station…

Crook and Ladder and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Space Tappers!

It’s getting hot in Springfield, as the Crook and Ladder mini event has invaded our games for the last week plus bringing several  new items to our pocket sized towns. With all of the new items  added to Tapped Out I thought now would be a good time to take a look at how all of these items impact the Conform-O-Meter ratings (especially since this might help you decide what to keep out & what to put into storage).

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the Crook and Ladder brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring us a new items to add to our Springfield.  Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating: Continue reading →

Turbo Tappin Crook and Ladder: Woman on Fire & Hot in Here (Fireman Homer & Apu)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The firemen have arrived in Springfield…and just in time too!  A fun little mini event has hit our pocket sized Springfield’s, where we will FINALLY be able to unlock the Fire Station and all those hunky Volunteer Firemen!

Of course, as with all events, there are some premium additions to the fun.  This time around it’s fireman Homer and Apu..both with their own unique questlines.  I do highly recommend waiting until you’ve completed the fire event to start this questlines, as you’ll need both Homer and Apu to earn medals…

So let’s take a look at this questline now, and just what you’ll need to do to ensure your Springfield is protected from those burning fires!

Should I Spend Donuts On the Vehicle Pileup?

Well the Crook and Ladder Event just dropped.  It’s about time Springfield got a Fire Department! Time to bust out the fire hose and stock up on those donuts for all those brand new fire themed premium items in our stores.Now I know you may be trying to decide if these are worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it!  We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
