Should I Spend Donuts on Mr. Sparkle Billboard?

With the new Premium items just added to our menu, it may be overwhelming trying to decide whether to buy them or to pass on them. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Mr. Sparkle Billboard to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this decoration to your Springfield.

mrsparklebillboard_menu
Decoration: Mr. Sparkle Billboard
Donut Price: 30 donuts
Unique?: No, you can have as many as you want
Bonus: 0.75% (bonus cash and XP to all tasks)
Bonus % Per Donut Spent: 0.025%
Conform-o-Meter Points: +10 Consumerism
Where Can I Place It?: The Mr Sparkle Billboard is one of the few decorations that can be placed on your land, on the beach and even on the Squidport Boardwalk!

Final Thought: At 30 Donuts the Mr. Sparkle Billboard isn’t the most expensive decoration in Springfield BUT at .75% bonus pay out that’s not exactly the best payout in the game either.  It is a relatively small item to place in town and admittedly I did purchase this (only 1).  However, if you’re limited on your donuts (I happened to stock up quite a bit when Ol’ Gil was around…got to love Christmas Gift Cards!) you may want to pass on this one.  There are much better items you can purchase for relatively the same amount of donuts & better bonus payouts.  The one nice thing about this is it does add to your Consumerism rating, which is one of the hardest in the game to max out.

Whatever you decide on the billboard just remember this is a Limited-Time  item so there once it’s gone it’s gone!

What do you think?  Will you be paying 30 donuts for the Mr. Sparkle Billboard?

Should I Spend Donuts On the Swanky Fish?

Wondering if you should add the Swanky Fish to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this restaurant to your Springfield.swankyfishflipped_transimage
Building: Swanky Fish
D
onut Price: 90 Donuts
Conform-O-Meter Impact: Gluttony +10
Earns: $200 and 22XP every 8hrs

Pros:
-A returning Limited-Time Item, but don’t be fooled.  Just because it came back once doesn’t mean it will again.
-A new task unlocks for Comic Book Guy, Skinner & Brockman to Eat at the Swanky Fish…so it will be used.
-Not a bad size, can easily fit in  Springfield.
-Characters earn at a premium rate when they’re using it.
-Protected building, so you can’t sell it by mistake.
-Will boost your Gluttony Rating on the Conform-O-Meter

Cons:
-When it was originally released a little mini quest unlocked with it, this time around there is no mini quest.
-No new characters come with the building and only 3 characters interact with it.

Final Thought:

Personally I’ve had the Swanky Fish in my town since it was first released last April.  It’s one of my favorite restaurants in town because it’s pretty easy to decorate around.  It also earns a decent rate and characters DO interact with it (which is more than I can say about the Museum of Natural History)…plus it’s LIMITED TIME.  So if you’ve been coveting your neighboreenos Swanky Fish now’s your chance to get your very own!
