How much longer EA can keep Tapped Out going is up for debate. But what isn’t debatable is that there are plenty of buildings in the rich history of The Simpsons universe still not in our little game. We present to you TSTO Addicts’ Most Desired Building Bracket Battle.
Ah. Thank Grog It’s FIRDAY!
This is one of those weeks when my head is spinning with things that make me go, “ERGH!” and “Whaaaaaa?”and “Really??????” and “SoooooCoooooool!” And no. I’m not talking about tweets, or politics, or cable news talking heads….I’m actually talking about THE GAME (and the Bracket Challenge.) Oh…and at the end, I’ll share some good news.
Let’s start with the update(s). I admit, as out-of-context and “space/time breakin'” as the Toaster Update was, I liked it. It was fun…and I got everything I wanted…not, everything available…but everything I wanted. No donuts spent (except on the tree-slide…which is about the loudest water sounding thing in the game..makes me have to pee). I laughed at the “Favio/Sexy-Pirate”…especially when he let his gut hang loose. All in all…Fun Update!
This “mini-update?” Uhm. Not so much. I’m not going to get into it…as I think the concept of Pride Week is important (if not just another way to be divisive in a world that is already so full of marches, you need a scorecard to keep track of the placards, when we should all be celebrating our similarities, rather than our differences). But, like most “hot topics” taken on by the writers, the dialogue is pretty narrow and stereotypical, even for a cartoon-based mobile game. And that’s all I’ll say about that…
But…the REAL reason I’m Crankified, is that we now have a couple of MORE characters who barely appeared in the show, in our games…and we DON’T Have Bleeding Gums Murphy yet!!!
Oh. And I’m apparently at the BOTTOM of the “Mod-Heap” in 216th place…in Safi’s Bracket Challenge. WTH????
I think it’s time for me to use my “bully pulpit” to make the case for “why we need to pick the Jazz Hole” in this challenge. I’ve been a paid PAC writer before…and this time, I think it’s time we hear from the ICCMU, and their desire to be represented!! Rainbows or no rainbows!

Apparently the recent Time Travel Event has caused EA to lose their calendars because a Pride Update has hit our games..a month late. Naturally with all event, mini or not, our stores are stacked with premium items tempting us to spend those sprinkles!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

The pride event arrived in Springfield yesterday, along with a ton of buildings busting up a bunch of brackets!
Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini event is similar to the previous mini-events (like Homer the Heretic and the Most Dangerous Game before it), in that you’ve got to complete various tasks to unlock the prizes.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just how to unlock all the Pride inspired prizes…
As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. The Time Travel Event is set to leave our games today, so now is still a great time to look back at how all of the items added for this event impact our Conform-O-Meters. Especially since this event brought LOADS of items to Springfield…
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

Hang onto your toasters my friends because we’re going flying through space and time! The latest event in TSTO has us going wayyy back in time to when Dinosaurs roamed the earth, Pharaohs were building pyramids & Pirates hobbled around on their peg legs!
This Event is broken up into 3 Eras, with each Era containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the third (and final) Era, Pirate, you’re tasked with collecting Eye Patches (
) to unlock each prize!
The Seventh (and final) Pirate Era Prize awarded at 88,200 is the Pirate Ship and Sexy Pirate, because someone needs to bring sexy back in that town….
So let’s take a closer look at this seventh prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
