Halloween 2022 (THOH XXXIII) Update is Available to Download!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

I’ve got a lot going on today, and tomorrow, but if you didn’t know the Halloween update is available to download from the app store!

Doing this will change your Splashscreen to our THOH XXXIII themed one…

This event will start up TOMORROW, October 12th, at 11am ET. So look for it to start then…

You’ll need:
Homer
Marge
Bart
Lisa
Milhouse
Wiggum
Skinner
Krusty

Free for event currency, and Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Flanders free to kick off the event.

Any other info you’re looking for can be found in the very detailed spoiler video we did here.

That’s it for now, look for this to start tomorrow. Until then, sit back and relax. I’ll do my best to get details up once this hits, but this week is kind of insane. So not sure how fast i’ll get it up for you.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

I’m sure by now most of you have noticed there’s no TSTO update this week (at least as of this posting). And I’m also sure some of you have noticed there hasn’t been a new post today. I’m sorry for that. Things are absolutely crazy in my life right now, in particular at work, and with no new TSTO update dropping this week I’ve been working to try and calm that craziness down a bit in lieu of TSTO posts. (and I really didn’t want to drop another Caption This! on you, not two days in a row)

I promise I’ll get a musings post about Game of Games 2 written up and posted for next week. Beyond that, to hold you over until another update, Patric has a new Bob Spills the Beans edition of Friday Filler going up tomorrow; Safi has a new round of Bracket Battle for Saturday, and a musings post for Monday…so we’ve got plenty to keep you entertained until there’s new game content! (we hope!)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Happy Saturday! I hope you’re spending the day productively, as productively as you can these days. We spent our morning cleaning the house from top to bottom, even the kiddos got in on the dusting and mopping. Good family fun lol, but at least the house is clean! (for now)

Anyway, earlier today The Simpsons released a little TSTO teaser their Instagram page…

Looks like wrestling is on its way to TSTO…at least according to the Insta post. We have not received any info from EA on this, and there’s nothing to download at the moment. So my guess is this is a look ahead at what’s coming this week, something to keep our quarantined minds busy!

App Store Update: Krusty’s Last Gasp (Updated and Complete)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

There’s a new update in the app stores…this removes Simpsons Babies from our games (officially…) and brings the splash screen back to normal! (however, it didn’t stop the annoying sound effects that play when you start up TSTO…even if your sound settings are OFF. Fix this EA!)

Anywho…new update brings a new mini-event. Krusty’s Last Gasp! (not to pat myself on the back or anything…but I totally called an update earlier today in a conversation with Patric. This sets us up perfectly for a mini-event going right into THOH…)

Mini-Event ends on September 25th. And it has more prizes with it. More than the usual 5…7 in total.

Anyway, it’s about 6:30p here…and I’ve got two kiddos that are crazy after a long day at Daycare and need to go to bed. So I’ll go through all of this and fully update this post once they’re in bed. (check to see that the post says Updated and Complete. At that point it’ll be fully updated) In the meantime…get through Krusty’s first 6s task and then complete the series of 4hr currency earning tasks for Lisa, Bart, Milhouse, Martin, Nelson, Homer, and Flanders. Plus a 4hr task for Krusty.

Oh and hey Krusty’s Clown College FINALLY makes its appearance…

Looks like we’ve got a new little questline (it’s only 5 parts) to work on in Springfield! And this time we get a ~~free~~ (in-game cash, NOT donuts..so it technically is free…)cannon!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

While we’re waiting on the “next big thing” to hit TSTO, I thought now would be a good time to take a look at some of the Main Event Contest submissions from those who didn’t make the Top 10 finalists.

Everyone did such a great job with their entries & so many people came up with great ideas that they’re definitely worth sharing! Plus, I figured EA could always use a little more inspiration!

While I can’t promise I’ll be able to post all of the qualifying entries, I’ll do my best to post 5 or so whenever we have some downtime. So enjoy these 5 event ideas and who knows, we may be seeing one of these next in TSTO!
