Well hello there Addicterinos! How the heck are you on this foine Friday? So, once again it has been a while since we had a meeting of TSTO Anonymous and right about now it’s about that time. Valentine’s Day in real life is over (hopefully it was good for all) and the VD event is nearing what a lot of us hope is its completion (but not before every addict gets the Tunnel).

Well, hey there friends! Sorry, I was just humming a Beatles song that’s been stuck in my head since this holiday event started. Pretty obvious which building I’m gonna write about, right?
By now, you probably know that I was held hostage by a mean old tuna muncher recently (No… I’m not talking about Patty Bouvier, jeesh, some people). Thankfully, I was able to convince his highness King Snorky to continue playing TSTO for me and other than a vague briny smell on my myPhone, he somehow got me very close to my next GOO prize… the Twirl ‘N’ Hurl.
First let me start this with a little disclaimer. I know this is a blog about The Simpsons Tapped Out and I also know that this is a blog read by more than just Americans. However, all of the Addicts writers are from America and we feel as though it just wouldn’t be right to let today pass with out something. This post will remain our top post until after the moments of silence, and we will return to our regular Tapped Out posts shortly after. Thank you for your understanding and respect.
Today is September 11th 2013, the 12th anniversary of the attacks on America, where 2,977 innocent people were killed while just going about their everyday. Today the Addicts writers would like to take a moment to honor all those innocent lives that were lost in New York City, Shanksville PA, and Washington DC.
I ask you, the readers of this blog, to take a moment today to reflect on that day and honor those who lost their lives.
The Addicts staff would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the police and fireman who saved lives that day, and everyday. We would also like to say a special thank you to all of our brave service men and woman, at home and abroad, who risk their own lives so that America can be safe. We would also like to honor all of the service men and woman from our allies around the world. Thanks Bunny for the great photo!
Finally, Mark, Bunny, Nick and I would like to say a special thank you to our very own Wookiee. Who served in the United States Air Force for nearly 14 years, and has just recently become a civilian again. I think I speak for all of us Wookiee when I say, thank you for risking your life overseas to protect everyone here at home. We’re glad you’re home safe and couldn’t imagine this site without you!
Hello Addicts! I am Wookiee and I’m a tapaholic. So, while we all wait for Level 34, my friends over at www.tapped-out.co.uk. started talking about when we might see the new level. This made me wonder and I suddenly thought, how cool would it be for EA to give us more Squidport in honor of America’s Labor Day holiday? As this is the last weekend we Americanos go to the beach in droves, this would be perfect.
