As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. Hi! First ever submission!
This was based loosely off of the Corniche in Abu Dhabi (UAE) which is where I grew up. There were fountains and eating areas and small carts selling ice-cream, beans and tea (don’t ask) and lots of street-lights, palm trees and gazebos. I have happy childhood memories there. I didn’t even realise I was re-creating it until I was almost done. Hope it’s good enough to show! I couldn’t make enough tiles in a week (that goes to show me for not paying attention to the Squidport)

Hi Stilly! I would love to buy the Sq-Port performers & fountains, I think they are so much fun! I just wish there were tasks we could send the performers on, (on the boardwalk, of course).
This is giving me good design ideas. I find myself lacking creativity when it comes to squidport. I wish I could make more tiles but im maxed out!
I would also like more items for squidport to build or design a feature my dodgem ride is pretty rubbish
Woo Hoo thanks for the showoff! Wish my pic was better though, you can’t see my parking meter binoculars :(. They are the only way to find the elusive whale in my Squidport lol. And great job to everyone, I love seeing how creative people can be!

alunited1961, I am a newish tapper (been around for awhile but got obsessed during the Terwilligers event) whose main problem is no design sense. I’ve just been cramming in buildings where they fit, but that is not very satisfying. I am INSPIRED by your Squidport! I would like to see the rest of your town to get more inspiration. I just sent you a neighbor request–I hope you will consider adding me. You don’t ever have to visit or anything–I just want to be inspired by you! (Sorry for the excessive use of exclamation points and the word “inspired.” I’m not a stalker–I swear.)

Thanks for the share!! I love this site and everyone’s Squidport. Always up for new ideas and opinions. Really want a whale but 300 doughnuts/$20 for an item is tough to swallow…..but I’ll probably give in sooner or later lol. I really need to screenshot my whole town, I still haven’t done it!!! And I really hope EA gives us more land! I’ve been playing since August of 2012 and I’m almost out of room!
Oh my sad sad squidport… Lol! Between two redesigns (possibly another), a half redesign in KL (got bored & then surprise new decorations!) I have dabbled on my squidport here and there. But its not even close to being done. I wish I would have found out about that tile glitch sooner!! Everyone has soo many cool things on SP and I love them all! No matter how much I try, can’t compete with all you addicts 🙂
