Sunday Night Open Thread

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

How are my favorite Addicted Tappers this evening?  Everyone enjoying their weekend?  Do anything special?  Anyone suffering from TSTO withdraws from all the glitches and lock outs?

Anyway enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right?  No, no it’s not time to open presents Wookiee…you’re birthday’s over buddy!   Nope it’s time for another Sunday Night Open Thread!  (this is very quickly becoming our favorite time of the week by the way!  You guys have some AWESOME things to say!)

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING.  Just no Add me requests…those should go here.  We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So…here is your Sunday Night Open Thread.  The Season Finale of The Simpsons airs tonight, what will happen in the new episode?  We also had an episode tie-in hit our games this past week.  How will the new items come into play in the new episode?  Watch along with us and find out!  Easter is over…and with the Easter removal came the dreaded lag/lockout glitchs.  Vent your frustration with your fellow tappers!

So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, update fun, NFL, NHL, NBA,  MLB or any other 3 letter leagues you can think of!  Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

Mad Men of Springfield: Hugs Bunny

Welcome to another new addition to Addicts, the Mad Men of Springfield. We will be going into depth on the history and background of the male species running around our lil towns as well as those not yet in the game.

Just think about it. What Man living in Springfield is “normal”? Not a single one that I can think of. They all have at least ONE thing wrong with them. Seriously! Think about it. How many issues does Moe have? A Reverend a “little” obsessed with trains? An owner of a Kwik-E-Mart that goes to counseling with the same person that robs him, on a daily basis? Not to mention the “inbreeding” and other strange happenings going on at the farm. Oh the idiosyncrasies.

So sit back, relax, grab your favorite beverage, and enjoy as we kram your brains with some Simpson knowledge of the MAD MEN OF SPRINGFIELD.

LEGO Contest Sunday Submissions

Hello There LEGO Tappers!

Well over the last week here at Addicts we’ve had you searching the site for our LEGO words/phrase for your chance to win LEGO Minifigures!  Well now the hunt for the phrase that pays LEGOS is over it it’s time to submit your answers!

Remember the words for Today’s Entry can be found in last SUNDAY’s POSTS.  Only submit the words from last Sunday….more than one entry per day will not be accepted.  So make your first entry count 🙂

So now let’s get to the entries…..(Entries for Sunday MUST be submitted by 11:59PM EST on 5/18/14)

REMEMBER: Winners will be picked at random using Random.org. ONE Submission per person per day.  If multiple submissions sent only the first one will be accepted (they’re time stamped).

You can win up to a total of TWO times. Once your name is chosen the 2nd time, you will no longer be eligible. This is open to EVERYONE. Including past winners. So anyone can enter.

So how do the prizes work? The 5 Winners will each get ONE LEGO Minifigure. We will have a predetermined set of characters picked out. 3 opened and 2 blind bags. The first two Winners will  have the option to pick one open or one blind bag, the remaining will then get passed on to the next 2, and so on until all 5 characters are awarded. (Gotta make it a lil interesting.)
