Well a day late but Valentine’s Day is finally over…if you’re on iOS! Download the new update for TSTO (Version 4.7.2)! So be sure to login to iTunes to download the update!
Android users are now updated as well! Be sure to hit the Play store to find your update! Note: If you don’t see the update try restarting your device. Sometimes it doesn’t show right away on Android.

At 245pm eastern, I noticed that the kindle store had version 4.7.3 (I am still waiting for it to download but the kindle version is out. I also had the “theres a newer version. Upgrade? Nonredirect mentioned below.
So Kindle users…check your store your update might be there! 🙂

I still have no update it sends me to the store but it just says open so I open and it sends me back with no update then it says update then it goes to the store it’s a big circle I’m going crazy I have kindle fire hd help please
Hmmm Bunny, Wookiee and I run on iOS and Android so we’re not to familiar with the Kindle platforms. Any other Tappers out there able to offer ashley some help? I know reader MrsMLKnight has a Kindle and was having issues, but I believe she finally got in. This was her last comment on it: Well I decided to just wait it out, I figured if by this morning it was still being a butt I would remove then redownload it. However upon logging in it is now updated finally. I am free, free at last from the V-Day that seem as if it would never end (I will do not miss it either!). lol Thank you Alissa for being there for me while I was stuck in that limbo. 😉
Your best bet might be to try and contact EA if it still doesn’t appear.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? That seems to be the only way a lot of kindle users are able to get the update to trigger.
I am a little late to reply, just saw this. This is my work around for the “Update Now!” bug on the kindle fires usually the older (non-HD) version(s).
*Remove only the app on the device not the CLOUD*
Step 1 – Make sure you’ve synced your town: How I do it: Go visit a friend, return home. You don’t need to do anything but click return home button it will say “syncing” then visit friends list again to Log out.
Step 2 – Log out & uninstall the app from ONLY the device NOT the cloud.
Step 3 – Visit app store to re-download the app (it will pull old data already saved to the cloud & add the new data which we need for the update).
Step 4 – Log in & enjoy the update!
It shouldn’t say your town failed to save if you did Step 1, If it does just click continue usually you don’t lose anything.

Thanks so much! We’ll make sure we update our help section to include your great Kindle troubleshooting steps! That’s the downside of us not having a Kindle to Tap on…we’re unfamiliar with the Troubleshoot methods on it. This helps a TON! 🙂
Forgot to add how to Hard close is tricky on kindle fire’s easy way hold power button, click shut down. Wait… Then power back on. Real hard close harder go to control menu top of screen (HD swipe down/non-HD click circle icon) go to applications, installed applications, drop down menu running applications, find tsto app icon click now force close & ok. Your welcome. 🙂

PS this works for ALL Kindle Fires HD & non-HD as they all have the amazon cloud which makes re-downloading the app so much faster!. 😉
I just waited & it finally worked it’s self out by downloading on it’s own the 3 things or something small it needed to kick me from the V-Day event. Usually it will do this within 24 hrs at most 3 days from my experience with both older Kindles (more prone to this issue) & kindle fire HD.

Ok I don’t know WHAT you guys are talking about, but I had saved 4000 hearts and 20 spins in hope of getting some donuts, but Im pretty sure I got money for it sinceI had like +3-400 000 game dollars more right after the update!
Hmm that’s interesting. I really haven’t noticed a bump in my cash, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t one. I just didn’t have a ton of hearts left. We’ll have to see if anyone else noticed this…
